Kajian Ketepatan Waktu Pelayanan pada Area Check-In Counter Terminal Domestik di Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali
Check-in service is the initial stage of passenger departure that plays a critical role in the smooth operation of airport terminals. This study aims to assess the timeliness of passenger service at the check-in counter area of the Domestic Terminal at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, and to evaluate whether the service provided meets the standards set by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation Regulation No. PM 30 of 2021, which states a maximum service time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds per passenger. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method through direct observation of 120 passengers across eight domestic airlines. The results show that the average check-in service time is 161.48 seconds, with a standard deviation of 51.5 seconds, indicating that the service exceeds the stipulated time standard. Contributing factors include an insufficient number of active counters, limited staff, and suboptimal utilization of self check-in technology. The study recommends the implementation of self baggage drop facilities to enhance service efficiency and reduce queuing times. Successful implementation of this technology requires passenger education, user-friendly machine interfaces, and the presence of assisting personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Sensorimotor Account of Multimodal Prosody
The temporal signatures that characterize speech—especially its prosodic qualities—are observable in the movements of the hands and bodies of its speakers. A neurobiological account of these prosodic rhythms is thus likely to benefit from insights on the neural coding principles underlying co-speech gestures. Here we consider a role for the information processing capacity of the vestibular system, a sensory system that encodes movements of the body, in the neural representation of prosody. Careful review of the vestibular system’s functional organization as a hierarchical and predictive system, its relevance for rhythmic sound sequences, dynamic attention, and its involvement in vocalization suggests vestibular codes may be important for the neural tracking of speech. As the kinematics and time course of co-speech movements mirror prosodic fluctuations in spoken prosody, we argue that the vestibular system helps encode and decode these prosodic features in multimodal discourse and possibly during auditory speech processing alone
Negative affect provides a context for increased distrust in the daily lives of individuals with childhood maltreatment
This manuscript is accepted for publication in the Journal of Traumatic Stress (2023/04/20). Abstract: Cognitive models suggest that trauma engenders distrust and interpersonal threat sensitivity, which is supported by previous evidence on individuals affected by posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after childhood maltreatment (CM). We tested whether CM is associated with distrust and interpersonal threat sensitivity in daily life, and whether momentary negative affect (NA) provides a context that strengthens this association. Hypotheses were based on cognitive models of trauma and the feelings-as-information theory. In a seven-day ambulatory assessment study with six semi-random daily prompts (2,295 total), we measured self-reported momentary NA, and assessed behavioral trust as well as interpersonal threat sensitivity via facial emotion ratings with two novel experimental paradigms in 61 individuals with varying levels of CM (45,900 trials total). As hypothesized, NA was associated with increased momentary distrust (ß = 0.03, p = .002) and interpersonal threat sensitivity (ß = -0.01, p = .021). Higher levels of CM were associated with more negative emotion ratings, independent of affective context (ß = -0.07, p = .003). Momentary behavioral distrust was associated with CM at high levels of momentary NA (ß = 0.02, p = .027). Findings for both tasks support the feeling-as-information theory and suggest that cognitive alterations surrounding distrust and interpersonal threat, which were originally proposed for PTSD, likely also affect those with CM
