Pengaruh Work-Life Balance terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Unit Airside (Sisi Udara) di Bandar Udara Adi Soemarmo Boyolali
This study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance on the performance of airside unit employees at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Boyolali. A quantitative approach was employed using a simple linear regression method. The sample consisted of 57 respondents, including employees from Apron Movement Control (AMC) and Ground Handling units. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software. The results showed that the average score for work-life balance was 54.93, while employee performance averaged 65.11. The regression equation obtained was Y = 23.758 + 0.753X, indicating that a one-unit increase in work-life balance contributes to a 0.753 increase in employee performance. The t-test results showed a t-value of 7.379, greater than the t-table value of 2.004, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.498, indicating that 49.8% of the variance in employee performance is explained by work-life balance, while the remaining 50.2% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, achieving a balance between personal life and work plays a crucial role in enhancing employee productivity and performance, especially in high-pressure work environments such as the airside unit of an airport
ANALISIS UMUR PAKAI (LIFETIME) BEARING 6207 KNCG PADA KOMPONEN TAKE OFF ROLL MESIN TEXTURIZING MURATA 33-H DI PT. XYZ
The textile industry plays an important role in the national economy, especially in absorbing labor and contributing to foreign exchange through export activities. One of the crucial processes in the textile production chain is yarn texturization, which greatly determines the physical and aesthetic characteristics of the yarn as the final product. PT. XYZ is a textile company that produces polyester-based textured yarn using a Murata 33-H type texturizing machine. This machine operates continuously at high speed and is highly dependent on the reliability of its mechanical components, one of which is the 6207 KNCG type bearing installed on the Take Off Roll section. Bearings function to support rotating shafts with high loads and speeds, so they are very susceptible to wear. Bearing failure can cause production downtime, damage to other components, and decreased product quality. Therefore, a predictive approach is needed in maintenance by analyzing the bearing lifetime theoretically. This study aims to calculate the estimated bearing lifetime and prepare a replacement schedule and appropriate preventive inspection to support smooth operations. The analysis results show that the theoretical lifetime of the 6207 KNCG bearing reaches 4.354,1 hours or around 181.6 operational days. Considering the safety factor, a replacement schedule of every 3.487,2 hours is recommended. In addition, routine inspections are carried out periodically to detect early signs of damage. This strategy is expected to improve machine reliability, maintenance cost efficiency, and production continuity at PT. XYZ.Industri tekstil memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian nasional, khususnya dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja dan kontribusi terhadap devisa melalui kegiatan ekspor. Salah satu proses krusial dalam rantai produksi tekstil adalah teksturisasi benang, yang sangat menentukan karakteristik fisik dan estetika benang sebagai produk akhir.
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan tekstil yang memproduksi benang tekstur berbahan dasar poliester dengan menggunakan mesin teksturisasi tipe Murata 33-H. Mesin ini beroperasi secara terus-menerus dengan kecepatan tinggi dan sangat bergantung pada keandalan komponen mekaniknya, salah satunya adalah bantalan (bearing) tipe 6207 KNCG yang terpasang pada bagian Take Off Roll. Bearing berfungsi untuk menopang poros yang berputar dengan beban dan kecepatan tinggi, sehingga sangat rentan terhadap keausan. Kegagalan bearing dapat menyebabkan waktu henti produksi, kerusakan pada komponen lain, dan penurunan kualitas produk.
Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan prediktif dalam pemeliharaan dengan menganalisis umur pakai bearing secara teoritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung estimasi umur pakai bearing serta menyusun jadwal penggantian dan inspeksi preventif yang tepat guna mendukung kelancaran operasional.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa umur pakai teoritis bearing 6207 KNCG mencapai 4.354,1 jam atau sekitar 181,6 hari operasional. Dengan mempertimbangkan faktor keamanan, disarankan jadwal penggantian setiap 3.487,2 jam. Selain itu, dilakukan inspeksi rutin secara berkala untuk mendeteksi tanda-tanda awal kerusakan. Strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keandalan mesin, efisiensi biaya perawatan, dan kesinambungan produksi di PT. XYZ
Evaluation on Accuracy of Snap-On Torque Wrench QD2R200 Calibrated Using ISO 6789:2017 and Stahlwille Standard
Aviation safety is highly dependent on the accuracy of the tools used, including torque wrenches used in aircraft maintenance. This study evaluated the accuracy of the QD2R200 snap-on torque wrench following the ISO 6789-2017 calibration method using the Stahlwille standard. The study was conducted in the Batam Aero Technic calibration laboratory, with torque wrench measurements at their nominal capacities of 20%, 60%, and 100%. Measurements were repeated five times at each nominal point. The calibration results on the two tools in the laboratory showed that the variation in deviation of the tool with serial number 1016901448 reached ±9%, while the tool with serial number 1116802022 had a deviation of less than ±2%. Testing was carried out in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The t-test showed a significant difference in results between the two tools, namely p = 0.003. These results emphasize the importance of periodic calibration and show that the ISO 6789:2017 method is effective in measuring torque wrench accuracy, which is important in ensuring safety and reliability in the aviation industry
RANCANG BANGUN MONITOR STUNTING BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS
Stunting is a major public health issue that affects children's growth and the quality of future generations. This study aims to design and test an Internet of Things (IoT)-based device to measure infants’ body weight, height, and head circumference, and transmit the data automatically to a web server. The research method used is research and development with a hardware and software engineering approach. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller to process data from Load Cell and Rotary Encoder sensors, integrated with an LCD interface and Wi-Fi connectivity. The test results show that the device has a weight measurement error rate between 3.2%–3.3% and a height measurement error between 0%–3.65%, which are within acceptable limits. The transmitted data can be accessed in real-time and used to assess nutritional status based on anthropometric parameters. The implication of this research is the availability of an efficient and accurate screening tool for early stunting detection that can be applied in both primary healthcare settings and home environments
Pengaruh Fokus Kerja Petugas Boarding Gate PT Gapura Angkasa terhadap Efektivitas Pelayanan Penumpang Maskapai Citilink di Yogyakarta International Airport
The difficulty of boarding gate officers in maintaining work focus has the potential to reduce the effectiveness of services to passengers during the boarding process. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of the work focus of boarding gate officers on the effectiveness of Citilink Airline passenger services at Yogyakarta International Airport.
This research uses quantitative methods with data collection through questionnaires. Involving all boarding gate officers of PT Gapura Angkasa at Yogyakarta International Airport, totaling 40 people. The data was then analyzed using simple linear regression method, T test, determination test (R2), and descriptive statistical test.
The results of this study indicate that the results of simple linear regression indicate that the work focus of boarding gate officers affects the effectiveness of passenger services as evidenced by the results of the T test which shows a significance value of (0.000 <0.050). The magnitude of the influence of the work focus of boarding gate officers on the effectiveness of passenger service is 80% while the remaining 20% is influenced by other variables or factors not used in this study. The descriptive statistical test results show that the mean value of each indicator is at a high level with a low standard deviation, indicating a consistent officer work focus and contributing positively to the effectiveness of passenger service. In other words, it is concluded that increasing the work focus of boarding gate officers is very influential in increasing the effectiveness of passenger services in the boarding area
Analisis Fasilitas yang Memberikan Nilai Tambah pada Terminal Keberangkatan terhadap Tingkat Kepuasan Penumpang di Bandar Udara Internasional Sultan Hassanudin Makassar
This study analyzes the impact of value-added facilities at the departure terminal on passenger satisfaction at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar. The main objective is to measure how much influence these facilities have. Using a quantitative analysis, this study involved 100 passenger respondents. Data were collected through a validated and reliability-tested questionnaire. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.01 (<0.05), indicating that value-added facilities have a significant impact on passenger satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R-squared) of 0.503 indicates that 50.3% of passenger satisfaction at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar is influenced by value-added facilities at the departure terminal, while 49.7% is influenced by other variables outside the study. The conclusion of this study is that value-added facilities have a positive and significant impact on passenger satisfaction at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar
