I am mine: From phenomenology of self-awareness to metaphysics of selfhood
I aim to show that, contrary to standard deflationary or eliminativist theories
of the self, we can argue from the phenomenology of pre-reflective self-awareness for
the thesis that subjects of experience are substances. The phenomenological datum
of subjectivity points to a specific metaphysical structure of our experience, that is,
towards the substance view rather than the bundle or the minimal self view. Drawing
on modern philosophical accounts of pre-reflective self-awareness, mineness and (self-)
acquaintance, I will argue that a subject is aware of being the one individual who has
many experiences and that it is revealed to the subject that it is the bearer of experiences
and their unifier. The subject is present in pre-reflective awareness and known as the
subject of experiences, and even this minimal self-awareness gives us reason to favour
the substance view. Thus, one can demonstrate how the debates on the phenomenology
of pre-reflective self-awareness and the metaphysics of selfhood intersect
Sekuritizacija u izbornom kontekstu - rat u Ukrajini i izborna kampanja u Srbiji 2022. godine
Rat u Ukrajini
Srbiji 2022. godine sekuritizovali rat u Ukrajini. Sekuritizacija određenog pitanja podrazumeva
njegovo pomeranje iz političke u bezbednosnu sferu. Sekuritizaciju vrše sekurutizujući akteri
specifičnim govornim činom usmerenim prema određenoj publici. Cilj sekuritizacije jeste sticanje
političkom kontekstu oblikuju proces sekuritizacije kroz nekoliko faktora.
ideologije
Formal childcare as an important segment of family policies: reality and needs
Work-life balance (WLB) is an important issue of policies in EU
countries. The approach which implies social investment as a strong support
of the welfare state pays much attention to public childcare. Reconciling
work and parenthood is a significant aspect of the quality of life of
the individual and the family. In that, gender perspective has a specific
importance. During the socialist period, a network of public childcare services
was developed, but the social transformation of post-Yugoslav countries
brought new challenges. Some of them concern the characteristics of
the labour market, other gender roles. The paper will discuss the current
state of formal childcare in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, in comparison
with the EU (27) and Scandinavian countries, through an analysis of data
from the EUROSTAT database. The disadvantages of formal childcare are
noticed through significantly lower coverage of children under the age of
three, stronger presence of other types of childcare as well as a high percentage
of children being taken care of only by their parents. Looking at
some indicators, the situation in Slovenia is better than in Serbia and Croatia.
Formal childcare is a form of support for reconciling work and family
life but it is also a contribution to the transformation of gender regimes.
Positive effects imply high availability of public services, their quality, wide
coverage, and affordability for different social categories
potpunu reorganizaciju dosadašnjeg tržišta kapitala uvođenjem novih mesta trgovanja – organizovane trgovačke platforme i sistematskog posrednika.
organa u pogledu novih instituta
Investment in natural capital as a factor for sustainable post-COVID-19 recovery
The COVID-19 pandemic has become an unprecedented
phenomenon in the modern history of the world economy,
causing the deepest decline in the economic activity since
the mid-20th century. As a result, countries had to implement
measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
This crisis has been distinguished not only by a significant
decline in economic activity, wide territorial coverage and
underlying causes that lie outside the economy, but also by
a variety of recovery paths in different countries and regions
due to their structural heterogeneity. Large scale restrictions
imposed to curb the coronavirus disease have significantly affected
the performance of enterprises in most sectors of the
economy. Public-sector investments in green infrastructure
are considered to be of key importance for short-term economic
recovery around the world as they have the potential
to drive demand for new skills and technologies. The authors
highlight the economic, environmental and health benefits
of natural capital investment as essential, not only for the
post-COVID recovery of sustainable countries, but also for
the mitigation of consequences of possible future pandemics.
Within the scope of the analysis of positive effects of this type
of investment, the authors showcase the 'greenness' of pandemic
recovery among a selected group of countries.

The Influence of Covid-19 on The Older Adults in Europe - A Systematic Literature Review
This review focuses on exploring how COVID-19 has affected older adults, representing a significant global
concern for public health and societal dynamics. Through a systematic analysis of 54 studies, we identified four
key themes: social challenges, public health implications, psychological aspects, and demographic shifts. These
themes were derived from an in-depth examination of the literature, shedding light on the multifaceted impact
of COVID-19 on older adults. The key findings from the literature review highlight that during lockdowns, older
adults experienced heightened loneliness, struggled to care for themselves, and became isolated from their
families and friends
Can Structural Indicators of Trade Explain Why EU Candidate Countries Are Integrating Slowly?
The paper discusses whether EU enlargement fatigue slowing down the EU integration process of 6 Candidate Countries (C6) can be explained by the poor economic and trade performance of those economies, especially in exchange with the EU. We comprehensively analyzed the merchandise trade of those economies with the EU in 2007-2018 using numerous quantitative techniques and applying a very high level of data disaggregation. The conclusion is that the weak trade performances of C6 are not the cause of the enlargement fatigue as these economies detected moderate structural improvements in their trade with the EU
Evaluation and valorization of geoheritage of the mount Rogozna area (Serbia)
Due to its unique geology, relief, and extensive hydrologic network, Mount Rogozna has been chosen as a case study for the quantification of geodiversity. The study consists of two interconnected parts. The first part demonstrates the application of the geodiversity evaluation method using the geodiversity index, whereas the second part deals with the evaluation of the geoheritage objects of the studied area. The methodology for calculating geodiversity index that was applied in this research was modified due to the size of the studied area. The geodiversity index is calculated based on the number of abiotic elements and the roughness of the relief within the studied area. Mount Rogozna, with an area of 818.26 km2, has been studied and processed using a network of spatial polygons of 500 × 500 m and using different maps. The second part of the research deals with the evaluation of geoheritage objects, applying the Geosite Assess-ment Model. The obtained results demonstrate that geoheritage objects are not always located in places with high values of the geodiversity index. This is proven by the fact that 5 out of 7 geoheritage sites are located in areas with low geodiversity values. The obtained qualitative and quantitative data with maps showing the distribution of geodiversity can serve as a starting point for the development of a planning and management strategy, but also as the example of good practice for possible further application in the quan-tification of geodiversity in this part of Serbia, and beyond its borders as well
Tolerance and Intercultural Dialogue vs. Discrimination of National Minorities – Application of the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities in Serbia
This paper aims to analyse the application of the Framework
Convention for the Protection of National Minorities in Serbia,
i.e., obligations arising from Articles 4 and 5 of this Convention.
The analysis deals with prerequisites and conditions that are
of relevance for the purpose of protecting national minorities,
the latter being significant in order to ensure that national minorities
are protected against discrimination. For the minority
national and ethnic identities to be accepted, it is important
to raise the level of population’s culture, especially political
culture, whereby it is particularly significant to embrace and
respect differences. Without this, a harmonious cohabitation
of all ethnic groups, both the majority and minority ones, is not
possible. Substantial means for the fulfilment of obligations
stipulated by the Framework Convention are upbringing, education,
socialisation, dialogue, tolerance, compromise, and consensus.
The purpose of this paper is also to review conditions
for the specific application of Articles 4 and 6 of the Framework
Convention for the Protection of National Minorities. This
analysis includes the Fourth and the Fifth Periodical Reports on
monitoring the application of the Convention, the reports pertaining
to mutual interactions and communication, use of the
language in everyday communication, education, and protection
against discrimination. We have additionally analysed proposals
and views of the Council of Europe Advisory Committee
and reports compiled by the Republic of Serbia. Finally, we have
drawn certain conclusions presented in the form of measures
which, according to the Framework Convention, Serbia should
undertake for the purpose of protecting national minorities
