Dobre nauczanie: modele i ich ocena

    No full text
What constitutes good teaching has been at the focus of theories of pedagogy for thousands of years. However, recent research (Coe, Aloisi, Higgins & Major, 2014; Kornell & Hausman, 2016; Duke, 2012; Harmer, 2014; Grant, Stronge & Xu, 2014; Strong, Gargani & Hacifazlioglu, 2011; Hamre, Goffin & KraftSayre, 2009) suggests that this seemingly mature and wellresearched concept needs to be reexamined in view of the burgeoning research in the field. Coe et al. (2014) propose that recent research into best teaching practices brings up questions about elements of good teaching and ways of measuring it. The issue of evaluating teaching attempts to answer these seemingly obvious questions about what makes good teaching. This paper aims to address some of these questions. First, it examines the concepts of good teaching and the aspects which need to be considered in its evaluation. Next, it explores the frameworks determining good teaching which are delineated for different research and/or institutional needs. Based on the evaluation of these frameworks, the paper proposes a model for a specific set of needs of evaluating teaching from a student perspective at an Australian university. Jednakże ostatnie badania (Coe, Aloisi, Higgins i Major, 2014, Kornell i Hausman, 2016, Duke, 2012, Harmer, 2014, Grant, Stronge i Xu, 2014; Silny, Gargani i Hacifazlioglu, 2011; Hamre, Goffin i Kraft Sayre, 2009) sugerują, że ta pozornie dojrzała i dobrze zbadana dziedzina musi zostać ponownie empirycznie przeanalizowana. Coe i in.

In connection with the innovation in the Czech pre-school educa tion – placing two-year-old children in kindergarten, we identified the following: a) teachers’ attitude to accepting two-year-old children; b) the teachers’ reasons for rejecting two-year-old children. Our assumption was as follows: 1) teach ers who currently do not have two-year-old children in their classes will reject two-year-old children less than others; 2) the rejection of two-year-old children is directly proportional to the heterogeneous class age range.

This document presents the components of the professional devel-opment of pre-primary school teachers, in which the teacher plans her own professional development in educational fields. These are based on the teacher’s conscious educational needs stemming from her self-reflection on her profes-sional activities. A teacher’s preparatory pedagogical education plays an impor-tant role in pre-primary school teacher professional development planning. One of the forms of preparatory pedagogical education leading to the profession of pre-primary school teacher is study at a higher education institution/university. This form of study has been included in our investigation. At this institution, we investigated the expressed educational needs that represent the content of the professional development plan of students in the third year of combined study in pre-primary school education. This professional development plan includes students’ statement of educational fields in which they have a need for further education following the completion of their studies. The educational needs of students were investigated in relation to the length of their pedagogical expe-rience. Our aim was to determine specific educational fields for the students’ professional development plan, for which we assumed that the structure of the educational fields in relation to the length of their work experience would be dis-parate. We also investigated the source of their educational needs, e.g. the forms and methods of their self-reflection on their professional activities. We were furthermore interested in the obstacles that they face in the implementation op-portunities of their professional development plan.W artykule podjęto się analizy składowych zawodowego rozwo-ju nauczycieli edukacji wczesnoszkolnej, w których nauczyciel planuje przebieg rozwoju zawodowego w zakresie kształcenia ustawicznego.

he purpose of the study was to show how severe, for adolescents and school-aged children diagnosed with defects and speech disorders, are such behavioral disorders that may at the same time cause major adaptation diffi-culties. These not only appear but also increase in time, both in preschoolers’ and in students’ populations living in urban and rural areas. As the result of the constant growth and their increasing problems we have decided to conduce a research on relatively large populations of children between 6 and 12 years old. Among all diagnosed speech defects and speech disorders, multi-faceted dyslalia was relatively high in its intensity. It is hard to believe that today, in the age of computers and the Internet, the number of children with speech disorders is still growing and that they often suffer from depression and other psychotic disorders requiring specialist intervention. Aż trudno w to uwierzyć, że dziś, w dobie komputerów i Internetu ciągle przybywa dzieci z wadami i zaburzeniami mowy, nierzadko prowadzącymi do depresji i do innych zaburzeń o charakterze psychotycznym, wymagających in-terwencji specjalistów

The paper aims to define a workable model of good pedagogy for the purpose of evaluation of university teaching based on student ratings. Firstly, it reviews definitions of effective teaching and ways of measuring it. Then, the model of good pedagogy selected for its suitability for evaluation by university student ratings is introduced (Webb & Vallero, 2017). The next part of the study examines data from student evaluation of university subjects to determine the elements of good pedagogy most relevant to the learners in that particular educational context. Finally, the paper proposes a new model for the purpose of evaluation of good university teaching based on student ratings.

At the outset, the author presents reflections on the contemporary challenges facing education and its importance in shaping the foundation of positive relationships, communication and dialogue. The purpose of this article is to show the benefits of using an educational package “Kit Box of Secrets” in the process of teaching and educating in kindergarten, with particular emphasis on building the foundations of communication, dialogue and forming positive relations. This is an interesting way of working with a child, a group of children as well as parents in terms of children selfknowledge and the development of constructive peer and social relations in preschool education. We wstępie autor przedstawia rozważania nad współczesnymi wyzwaniami, przed którymi staje edukacja, oraz jej znaczeniem w kształtowaniu podstaw pozytywnych relacji, komunikacji i dialogu.

The paper discusses the aspect of emotions seen through the eyes of Polish bilingual and multilingual children living in the United Kingdom, expressed in short pieces of writing (called ‘microaccounts’). It is a part of the PhD project, comprising semistructured interviews with 55 language mediators (aged 8–18). 36 of the respondents aged 11–18 agreed to express their feelings in black and white. The data were collected in the years 2015–2016 in the United Kingdom by the author and the 36 teenage brokers were selected on the basis of their age and thus presumed maturity, as well as their readiness to participate in the additional part of the study. All data were transcribed and analysed by the author in person. The preliminary results of the interviews reveal that when asked how they feel brokering for others, the majority of the interviewees admitted to having experienced positive emotions, such as pride, happiness, the need to be helpful, needed and smarter. Since the interviews were video recorded, eliciting emotions turned out a true challenge at times and the author had suspected that her presence might impact the answers to some extent. Thus, in order to check whether the same feelings would be confirmed in writing, when young people are left unattended, without the intimidation related to the presence of a camera, the openended question “When I translate for others I feel...” was asked. Zarówno wywiady, jak i wypowiedzi pisemne młodych ludzi dotyczą wielu kwestii związanych z wielojęzycznością, m.in.
