Association between Transaminitis and Myositis among Patients with COVID-19: A Case- Control Study
Introduction: COVID-19 has brought about a major health burden globally. There are little to no attention has been paid to muscle-related complication in patient with COVID-19. Elevated liver enzymes together with the presence of comorbidities in COVID-19 patients render greater risk for morbidity and mortality, and the phenomenon may be related to Myositis. This study aimed to describe the association between transaminitis and myositis in patients hospitalised with COVID-19 at Hospital Pontian (Malaysia). Methods: This is an observational case-control study involving patient with myositis, hospitalised due to COVID-19 infection. Descriptive and inferential statistics were computed to analyse the data. Results: Total of 60 patients by ratio of 1:1, sex-matched, were included in this study. Elevated AST (86%, p=0.037) and ALT (66.7%, p=0.038) were shown significantly more common in patients with elevated CK compared to control. Discussion: The incident rate for myositis among hospitalised COVID-19 patient was reported to be approximately 9.7%. Normal liver biomarkers such as: alkaline phosphatise, total protein and bilirubin may potentially suggest the release of ALT and AST occurs from an origin other than liver tissue. Multiorgan failure may not necessarily be the cause of myositis among patients with COVID-19. Conclusion: This study indicates that myositis in patients with COVID-19 is not an uncommon occurrence
Factors Associated with Cervical Cancer at the Regional Public Hospital Dok II Jayapura in 2021
Background Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that develops from the cervix, which is cylindrical in shape, protrudes, and is connected to the vagina via the external uterine os. Cervical cancer is the most common in developing countries, ranks 10th in developed countries, and ranks 5th globally. According to Anatomical Pathology data from 2010, cervical cancer ranks second out of the top ten cancers in Indonesia, with a 12.7 percent incidence. According to preliminary data from Dok II Hospital, there were 11 cases (10.4 percent) of cervical cancer or the third order among 105 cancer patients studied. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the risk factors for cervical cancer at the Regional General Hospital Dok II Jayapura in 2021. Methods: This study was conducted at the Regional General Hospital Dok II Jayapura using a quantitative method and a Case Control design. A total of 105 cases, 11 cases, and 94 controls were used in the study. Result: According to the findings of this study, age at first birth (p = 0.008); OR: 0.14 (0.03 – 0.55) had a significant relationship with the incidence of cervical cancer in women at Regional General Hospital Dok II Jayapura. Meanwhile, maternal age variable (p = 0.3) OR: 2.5; 95 percent CI (0.5-10.2), Age of Menarche (p = 0.72); OR: 0.14 (0.38-5.24) and Family History of Cancer (p = 0.7); OR: 1.3 (0.3-4.7) have no significant relationship with the incidence of cervical cancer in women in Regional General Hospital Dok II Jayapura in 2021
Developing the Millet and Sorghum Value Chain from Genderred Trait Preference study in Burkina Faso
Prioritizing the different traits and cultivar demand of farmers and other actors in the cereal value chain has been the challenge faced by the breeding program in sub-Saharan Africa. The present study aims to assign concrete weights to different profile of actors-related constraints and trait preferences by focusing on the value chain studies; paying more attention on gender related aspects that the value chain of Millet and Sorghum encounter. Drowing from mix method, using the value chain approach combined with the Self Identity approach, this paper uses trait prioritization to assess producers/consumers, traders and processors’ preferred traits in three agro-ecological regions of Burkina Faso targeting 712 respondents, with 389 female respondents, or 46.75% of total sample size, 12 focus groups and one participatory workshop. The findings show that despite existing efforts for inclusive agriculture, the social construction and allocated roles have shaped the varietal traits preferences. It appears that the desired traits are more related to one specific position which relate to one identity on the value chain. Value chain actors’ options and choices then depend on either they are farmers, processors, and traders with specific challenges in relation to their professions. Such professions impact these actors’ preferences.
Study of the Distribution of the Lauwan Ethnic Groups and its Culture in Alor Districts, Nusa Tenggara Timur Province
Ethnic groups in an area have different characteristics, both language, culture, domicile, and clan characteristics. The differences in the characteristics of language, culture, domicile and clan are the main characteristics that distinguish ethnic groups from others. The Lauwan ethnic groups have a local language that is used every day between members of the ethnic groups, and they have their own culture. In addition to language and culture, they also have different domicile areas, and they have their own clan that distinguishes it from other clans. The purposes of the research are: to explain the language used, to describe the culture adopted, to explore the domicile area and to know the name of the clan. The method used in the research is ethnography, the research design is descriptive qualitative, which prioritizes stories, narratives and opinions of informants. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. The results showed that the Lauwan ethnic groups have their own local language, have knowledge of farming and farming habits with a shifting field system from one place to another, and plant corn, rice, beans. The beliefs held are Protestant Christianity and Islam. The art that is performed is dances which in the local language are called "Lego-lego". In marriage the price of women called "belis" is paid by using valuable objects, namely "Moko", Good and bad behavior are judged through religious teachings, written legal rules and not written. The Laiwan ethnic groups live in several places, they are in Kabir, Pantar District, Dubar and Kolijahi, East Pantar District. The clan of the Lauwan ethnic groups are called "Lab", which is still carried by both Protestant Christians and Muslims
Reservoir Simulation Model Using Water Injection and Water Alternating Gas Injection Techniques in KEYI Oilfield, Moglud Basin, Sudan
Simulation is only way to describe quantitatively the flow of multiple phases in a heterogeneous reservoir. Construction of reservoir simulation model requires a lot of data such as the types of rock and fluid properties. Enhancing the recovery of an oil reservoir is one of the major roles of any oil company. This is achieved by development of the oilfields by employing different techniques such as infill drilling, water injection, gas injection, water alternate gas (WAG) injection and even thermal methods. Reservoir simulation studies using water injection and water alternate gas injection for KEYI oil field, Muglad Basin, Sudan. The purpose of this simulation study is to determine the suitable method for increase and enhanced oil recovery. The simulation model was developed using two-phase, 3D and black oil options in ECLIPSE soft ware. Finally, the simulation result showed that water alternating gas technique is the best method to improve oil recovery from KEYI oil field, Muglad Basin, Sudan
Most Common Dental Complications in Chronic Disease Patients
The term "oral health" describes the conditions of the teeth, gums, and overall oral-facial system, which enables people to chew, speak, and smile. Some of the most common oral disorders are cavities (tooth decay), gum disease (periodontitis), and oral cancer. In the past year, about 40% of people stated feeling oral pain, and by the time they reach 34 years, more than 80% of individuals will have suffered from at least one cavity. so we are putting our hands to explore the most common dental complications in chronic diseases patient

The Role of Traditional Leaders in Peacemaking and Conflict Management among the Mende of Sierra Leone
The main thrust of this investigation was to explore the roles played by traditional leaders and the council of elders in conflict management and peacemaking among the Mende of Sierra Leone. The study examined the mechanisms of negotiation, mediation, arbitration and reconciliation as peacemaking processes utilized by traditional leaders to management conflict in their communities. The study used the qualitative research design in its quest to get answers to the raised questions. The research found out that generally the Mende of Sierra Leone acknowledge the important roles played by traditional leaders in reconciling conflicting parties and restoring harmony in society. It was also established that although colonialization and modernization undermined the powers and authorities of traditional leaders, the institution of chieftaincy has remained relevant to peacemaking and managing conflicts in rural communities
Automated Detection of Cervical Pre-Cancerous Lesions Using Regional-Based Convolutional Neural Network
The Cervical Colposcopy image is an image of woman’s cervix taken with a digital colposcope after application of acetic acid. The captured cervical images must be understood for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment planning of the anomalies. This Cervix image understanding is generally performed by skilled medical professionals. However, the scarcity of human medical experts and the fatigue and rough estimate procedures involved with them limit the effectiveness of image understanding performed by skilled medical professionals. This paper, the model uses Regional Based Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN) to effectively visualize of pre-cancerous lesions and to aid in diagnosis of the disease. The model was trained, on a dataset comprising of 10,383 cervical images samples. The datasets were derived from public dataset repositories. The training samples comprised of type class 1, 2 and 3 traits of cervical precancerous traits. The performance was evaluated using K-nearest -neighbor model over R-CNN. With an accuracy rate of 86%, this approach heralds a promising development in the detection of cervical precancerous lesions. This study findings established that the proposed model in provision of the better accuracy and misclassifications performance than various testing algorithms
Engineering in Mathematical Fallacy 4=5 and Needs How Many Time to Proof 4=4
A fallacy (also called sophism) is the use of invalid or otherwise faulty reasoning, or "wrong moves" in the construction of an argument [20]. A fallacious argument may be deceptive by appearing to be better than it really is. A mathematical argument is a sequence of statements and reasons given with the aim of demonstrating that a claim is true or false. Arguments containing informal fallacies may be formally valid, but still fallacious. An assumption or series of steps which is seemingly correct but contains a flawed argument is called a mathematical fallacy [2]. In proofing 4=5, some mathematicians claims the invention of the word “mathematical fallacy” and some mathematicians want more 365 years to proof 4=4
