Foreign and Indonesia Empowerment Models and Strategies in Foreign Companies in Indonesia
In accordance with the weaknesses of the community empowerment model, an alternative model is adopted through the "Process of Learning" approach which includes four dimensions, namely the structural dimension, the cognitive dimension, the moral dimension and the participatory dimension. The objectives of this study are: Describe the Model and Strategy of Manpower Empowerment, Analyze workforce assistance in foreign companies. Comparing the payroll system for foreign and Indonesian workers, revealing the discrimination of foreign and Indonesian workers. The design in this study was cross sectional, the data collected were primary and secondary data. Sampling was done by means of clusters. There were 233 respondents and the data were analyzed through content analysis. The research results show that (1) a model and strategy has been formulated in the empowerment of Asian Workers and Indonesian Workers, (2) After conducting a survey at the foreign company, foreign language training assistance materials and other materials are formulated for both Foreign Workers and Workers. Indonesian Workers, (3) After conducting the survey, it is known that the payroll system between Foreign Workers and Indonesian Workers is different and is not based on the expertise of the workforce, (4) The research results show that in particular Chinese companies do not provide opportunities for Indonesian Workers to Friday prayers and five daily prayers and other worship service
Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Nanosilicates from Kenyan Indigenous Microporous Clay
This study reports the synthesis of novel sodium nanosilicates extracted from locally available Kenyan clay. The synthetic method involved thermal calcination of the clay at 1000 0C followed by alkaline extraction with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) at 75 0C. The calcination temperature of 1000 0C was ideal for enhancing the conversion of silica components and decreasing the alumina components by making them soluble in the extracting base. Different concentrations of extraction medium (NaOH) were evaluated. The clay and the synthesized nanosilicates were characterized by X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier infra-red (FTIR) spectroscopy, Field emission scanning, and transmission electron microscopy (FESEM & FETEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). 20% (w/v) NaOH was found to be the most appropriate concentration as revealed by XRF and EDS data which showed better silica content.  
Effective Triaging of Patients in Confronting Covid-19 Pandemic: Favorable Experience from Yarmouk Health Care Center, Kuwait
An efficient and functional triage system, is a successful strategy adopted at various health care facilities in combating against the COVID-19 pandemic. It helps to reduce exposure to the infection and ensures safety of health care workers, patients and visitors. The aim of the study was to observe the effectiveness of triage practice, at Yarmouk Primary Health Care Center, Kuwait. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted during February 2019, to December 2020 at the Yarmouk Primary Health Care Center clinics, Kuwait. A triage-based health care delivery model, with rate of overall service usage, were compared before and during the application of triage during COVID-19 pandemic. The control period was from February to December 2019, when the center was working under normal circumstances. Crisis period was from February to December 2020. Data was collected from the primary care information service, Ministry of Health database, for Yarmouk PHCC activities and service utilization pattern, from February 2019 till December 2020.
Due to application of triage system, total number of patient visits were reduced from 151,886 patients in 2019 (pre-Covid) to 72,454 patients in 2020 (CoVID-pandemic), that is 75% reduction in patients visit. The employees were screened 9,511 times for possible COVID-19 symptoms. None of the employees got COVID at workplace because of the effective triage system. Those who got infected with COVID-19 had the exposure from outside workplace. In addition, 105 written reports and a daily follow-up schedule were written. Appointment links were used 102,256 times across various clinics and departments. The link to issue medical reports was used more than 330 times, and more than 70 medical reports were issued. The Chronic Medicines Refill link was used 868 times. Tele-consultation and online consultation were significantly increased, with no change in patient\u27s satisfaction. Applying well planned and monitored triage system at Yarmouk PHCC prioritized services and ensure safety of doctors, staff, patients and visitors, without compromising quality not patient satisfaction
Factors Associated with the Incidence of Anemia in Female Students at SMA Negeri I Jayapura in 2018
Background: Anemia is a condition in which the amount of red blood cells or hemoglobin in the body is lower than usual. Adolescent girls are more likely to develop anemia as a result of their dietary habits, nutritional status, nutrient consumption, viral infections, and menstrual patterns. In 2007, the frequency of anemia among adolescent girls in Jayapura city was 16.7%. Objectives: The goal of this study was to learn about the factors that contributed to anemia among female students at SMA Negeri I Jayapura in 2018. Methods: Analytic descriptive research with a cross sectional method is the sort of investigation. There were 83 students in grades XI and XII that participated in the study. Data were analyzed using the Pearson Correlation test. Result: The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between iron intake (p = 0.001), energy intake (p = 0.000), and protein intake (p = 0.002) with the incidence of anemia. Whereas there was no significant correlation between vitamin C intake (p = 0.702), nutritional status (p = 0.711), and pocket money (p = 0.340) with the incidence of anemia among female students in SMA Negeri I Jayapura in 2018
Clinicopathological Characteristics of high and low-grade Ovarian Serous Carcinoma
Ovarian cancer is the third most common gynecologic malignancy worldwide, after cervical cancer and endometrial cancer, but it has the highest mortality-to-incidence ratio of the three, indicating that it is fatal. Serous carcinoma is divided into two subtypes: low-grade serous carcinoma (LGSC) and high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC). The purpose of this descriptive study is to determine the clinical characteristics of LGSC and HGSC patients based on five parameters: age, patient\u27s chief complaint, tumor location, FIGO staging, and metastasis. For the period January 2017 to December 2021, 167 samples were collected based on histopathological data from three anatomical pathology laboratories in Makassar, consisting of 47 LGSC samples and 120 HGSC samples. The findings revealed that the most common age in LGSC and HGSC was 40-60 years (70.21% in LGSC and 70.83 percent in HGSC), and the most common chief complaint was abdominal enlargement (95.74% in LGSC and 94.17% in HGSC). LGSC is most commonly unilateral (53.20%), stage I-II (57.45%, and not metastatic (59.57%). In HGSC, it was most commonly bilateral (55%), 82 (68.33%) were diagnosed at stage III-IV, and most had metastases to the omentum (62.50%). In both types of tumors, the omentum is the most common site of tumor metastasis.

Penetration Analysis of Covid 19 and Impact on the Existence of Social Economic Life Citizenn in Bogor City (Study in Disaster Perspective)
Information released on July 16, 2021, nationally there were 2,780,803 positive corona outbreaks. They were 2,204,491 people recovered and 71,317 people died. In Bogor city were recorded 21,406 people positive for COVID-19, 16,690 people recovered, and 287 people died. As a result of covid 19 in 2020, the number of poor people increased to 77,976 people (2.6%) in 2021. The purpose of the research were to identify resources for overcoming covid 19, to identify the level of community income due to covid 19, to know the social impact of covid 19. , and to formulate a COVID-19 response model. The research used a cross sectional design to determine the prevalence of COVID-19. Determination of subjects by screening for COVID-19 patients based on inclusion criteria. After determining the Covid-19 patients and non-covid-19 patients, they were used as controls using a random computerized technique using MS Excel. The research sample were 240 people, consisting of 120 people exposed to COVID-19 and 120 people not exposed. Qualitative data was analyzed by content analysis, while quantitative data used a Likert scale. The results showed as many as 15.8 percent said there were no incomes during the COVID-19 pandemic, 36.6 percent said their income were above 1,000,000 - 2,500,000, and 22.5 percent said their income were above 2,500,000 - 4,000,000. Growth and Yield of Open Pollinated Young Corn (Zea mayz Linn.) as Influenced by Different Levels of Mykovam® Bio-fertilizer
Mykovam® bio-fertilizer was tested to evaluate the effects and performance on the growth and yield of open-pollinated variety (OPV) young corn. The result of the study showed that OPV corn fertilized with mixed Mykovam®, and inorganic fertilizer at one-half recommended rate, (T5) has the highest plant height of 282.40 cm, and the number of leaves at 50 days after planting (DAP) but did not differ significantly with T4 fertilized plants. The number of days to tasseling and silking was shorter in T4 and T5 OPV corn plants at 57 days and got the highest number of corn ears per plant of 1.37 and 1.57, respectively. The average weight of corn cobs, ten samples per treatment was recorded at T5 (1/2 RR Mykovam® + ½ RR Inorganic) with a mean value of 1.23 kg followed by Treatment 4 applied with the recommended rate of chemical fertilizer with 1.07 kg of weight. The shortest plants, the lowest number of corn leaves, the highest number of days to tasseling and silking, and the least corn ears/plant were from the unfertilized plot (T0) which did not differ statistically with plants fertilized with Mykovam® bio-fertilizer.
Mykovam bio-fertilizer application can help in reducing the amount of inorganic fertilizer but the lone application of Mykovam® bio-fertilizer on OPV corn has less effect due to the shorter period of study and considering the soil has low phosphorous based on the result of soil analysis. Economic analysis showed the highest yield of young cobs was recorded in T5 (1/2 RR Mykovam® + ½ RR Inorganic), while the lowest net income was obtained in T2 applied with 500 kg/ha of Mykovam® bio-fertilizer
Mixture method to estimate baseline hazard for non-arbitrary function of the Cox proportional model
This study is extended to the work that was published by (Hamad & Kachouie, 2019). In this paper, a mixture method was used to estimate the Gompertz distribution parameters using hazard and cumulative hazard functions. This mixture method depends on the two different models (semi-parametric model, and nonparametric model). Cox proportional hazard model and Kaplan Meier used to estimate the Gompertz distribution parameters. The parameters of the logistic function (RHS) in the Cox proportional hazard can be estimated by the partial likelihood method. The hazard function (LHS) in the Cox model can be estimated by Kaplan Meier. The estimated parametric of the logistic function combined with the nonparametric estimate of the survival function by Kaplan Meier in order to get an estimate of the baseline hazard for Gompertz distribution. Improvement was archived in the estimated parameters of the baseline hazard using the mixture method compared to the use of the Cox method. The improvement of the mixture method was measured based on the estimated parameters for the baseline hazard as well as by the model goodness of fit. Different data types (simulation and real data) were used to measure the improvement of the mixture method. Monte Carlo simulations were carried out for evaluating the proposed method’s performance. The results showed that the mixture method provided a better estimate value of the baseline and the model parameters compared to the estimated values using the Cox model

Radiotherapy is an adjuvant treatment for thoracic cancers which exposes to an increased risk of cardiovascular toxicity, in particular severe valvular, years after exposure. The identification of early symptoms as well as regular ultrasound follow-up remains essential to watch for cardiotoxicity early. Etiological Frequency of MDR Bacteremia and Antibiotic Resistance: Experience of the Avicenna Hospital in Marrakech
This work aims to study the bacteriological profile of Multi drug resistant bacteremia, as well as the current state of their resistance to antibiotics. It is a retrospective, descriptive study, which was spread over 8 years (January 2014-December 2021), relating to hospitalized patients having a positive blood culture, confirmed at microbiological laboratory of the Avicenna Military Hospital of Marrakesh. A total of 1923 blood cultures were performed, 17% of which came back positive. 68 MDRs bacterias were isolated, which is 20% of all isolates. Enterobacteriaceae resistant to third generation cephalosporins and imipenem resistant Acinetobacter baumanii are the most frequently found MDRs bacterias with rates of 47% and 30% respectively. Hospital units are mainly represented by resuscitation-intensive care, followed by medical services. MDR bacteria represent a worrying problem underlining the need for the application of hygiene measures and the rational prescription of antibiotics
