General Overview of the Problem of Animal Production in the Democratic Republic of Congo
In a world pulverized by the ever-growing population, animal production, on the other hand, displays a behavior of inequality. This study based on documentation has set itself the objective of listing some factors that handicap animal production in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
To this end, it was observed in this study that the low salary of central administration staff, the lack of interdependence between agriculture and livestock, the problem of evacuation of agricultural products, lack of science in animal production, slow and costly research on animals, etc. are the main factors blocking animal production in the Democratic Republic of Congo
Effect of Feed Rations Based on Moringa oleifera Leaf Powder on the Weight Gain of Hens Reared in the Forest Regions of Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo
The present study aims to evaluate the effects of food rations based on Moringa oleifera leaf powder on the weight growth of hens, was carried out in the province of Tshopo, city of Kisangani in the Democratic Republic of Congo, it covered a period of 6 weeks from August 21 to September 25, 2022. It involved 40 five-week-old Isa Brown chicks, divided into 8 batches of 5 subjects each, corresponding to 4 experimental rations T0, T1, T2 and T3 where M. oleifera leaf flour was incorporated at 0, 5, 15 and 30% respectively. The inclusion of M. oleifera leaf meal in the ration improved the live weight of poultry from one week to another for all 4 treatments, and this significantly, in particular at the 6th week of age for the T3 (647.5 g) and T2 (581 g) compared to control treatments T0 (520 g) and T1 (537 g). It significantly improved the individual food consumption (CAI) evolved increasingly over time during the experiment (64.9g/d and 64.9g/d) of the subjects of T3 and T2 compared to those (57 .9 g/d, and 62.1 g/d) of T0 and T1 birds respectively. The inclusion had no significant negative effect on the average daily gain (ADG) of poultry, but varied during the experimental period for all treatments (p. value ? 0.05), except for treatment T1.
Nevertheless, from the 6th to the 12th week of age, subjects fed rations based on M. oleifera leaf flour showed T0 (0.0587), T1 (0.0143), T2 (0.1121), and T3 (0.3752)

Risk Factors of Malaria Incidence in the Work Area of the Waghete Public Health Center, Tigi District, Deiyai Regency, Central Papua Province
Background: Malaria is an endemic disease in Deiyai Regency, Central Papua Province which is influenced by age, sex, education, socio-economic, use of mosquito repellents, use of insecticide-treated nets, installation of wire netting, house walls, stagnant water, the presence of large animal cages and the distance between houses and breeding sites. Objectives: This study aimed to determine risk factors for Malaria incidence in the Work Area of the Waghete Health Center, Tigi District, Deiyai Regency, Central Papua Province. Methods: Analytical descriptive uses a cross sectional study design approach. The population is the people who visit the Wagethe Health Center as many as 100 people as a sample by accidental sampling. Data were obtained using a questionnaire and analyzed using chi square and binary logistic regression. Result: Factors that influence the incidence of malaria in the Waghete Health Center, Tigi District, Deiyai Regency were the habit of using mosquito repellents (?-value = 0.009; RP = 2.091; CI95%= (1.225 – 3.568); use of insecticide-treated nets (?-value = 0.001; RP) = 2.700; CI95%= (1.466 – 4.972); use of wire netting (?-value = 0.009; RP = 2.182; CI95%= (1.215 – 3.919); house walls (?-value = 0.004; RP = 2.364; CI95% = (1.316 – 4.247); standing water (?-value = 0.018; RP = 2.222; CI95%= (1.136 – 4.344).
Meanwhile, the factors that has no effect on the incidence of malaria in the Waghete Health Center, Tigi District, Deiyai Regency were gender (?-value = 0.379; RP = 0.379; CI95%= (0.453 – 1.248); age (?-value = 0.104; RP = 0.618; CI95%= (0.376 – 1.015); education (?-value = 1.000; RP = 0.993; CI95 %= (0.586 – 1.683); socioeconomic (?-value = 0.601; RP = 0.825; CI95%= (0.491 – 1.387); breeding place (?-value = 0.018; RP = 1.583; CI95%= (0.955 – 2.625) ); the presence of large livestock cages (?-value = 0.842; RP = 1.112; CI95% = (0.6467– 1.854). The dominant risk factors that influence the incidence of malaria in the Waghete Health Center, Tigi District, Deiyai Regency are the habit of using mosquito repellents, using insecticide-treated nets, using wire netting, and the most dominant risk factor is the use of mosquito nets
Factors Related to Work Productivity Employees of Health Department in Maybrat Regency, West Papua Province
Background: Work productivity is very important to note in order to create discipline in good work management. Due to the many factors that can affect work productivity, it is necessary to pay attention to the factors that most influence work productivity for employees. Objectives: This study aims to determine the factors associated with work productivity. Methods: This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted in November 2022 at the Maybrat District Health Office. The sample in this study was Civil Servants of the Maybrat District Health Office with a total sample of 77 respondents. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, at a significant level of 5%. Result: The results of the study showed that the work productivity of employees at the Maybrat District Health Office was mostly in the good category, namely 45 respondents (53.5%). From the results of the bivariate test, the variables that are significantly related to work productivity was the need for appreciation with a p value of 0.009 <0.05, while the variables that were not significantly related to work productivity are physiological needs (p value 0.497 > 0.05), self-security needs (p value 0.142 > 0.05), social needs (p value 0.380 > 0.05), and self-actualization needs (p value 0.156 > 0.156)
Validation and Reliability Assessment of Data Collection Instrument for University Students\u27 Employment Readiness: A Pilot Testing
This research aims to explore the mediating role of personal image in affecting the employment readiness of university students. Personal image can be a key determinant in the perceived employability and overall preparedness of students. We pilot tested our research instruments by studying a sample of 50 university students, assessing their self-reported employment readiness and their perceptions of their own personal image. This study aimed to assess the validity and reliability of a data collection instrument tailored for gauging university students\u27 readiness for employment. Two key validation methodologies were employed: content validity through expert judgment and construct validity using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Expert feedback was systematically collated, revealing that the instrument\u27s items closely align with the intended research constructs. The Fleiss-Cohen test was utilized to assess inter-respondent agreement, and results indicated a high degree of consensus among experts.Further statistical analysis using Cohen\u27s Kappa statistic demonstrated substantial to almost perfect agreement among raters, bolstering the instrument\u27s reliability. The application of Pearson correlation emphasized the tool\u27s ability to elucidate intricate relationships between myriad factors relevant to students\u27 employment preparedness. Pilot testing concluded that the research instrument is both valid and reliable, ensuring its suitability for a broader study on university students\u27 readiness for the professional world
Bee Keeping and Coffee Production as Potential Alternative Livelihoods for Coffee Farmers in Sheema District
To ensure sustainable living standards for coffee farmers, integrating coffee plantations with bee keeping would be a potential alternative livelihood option since beekeeping contributes additional incomes from the sale of honey and other bee products without compromising coffee production. Therefore, the study aimed at assessing the contribution of integrating coffee and bee keeping to coffee farmers’ incomes, attitude and perception of farmers on integrating coffee with bee keeping, technologies coffee farmers use while integrating coffee with bee keeping and the challenges farmers face while integrating bee keeping. The study utilized a cross section research design and a sample of 210 respondents was chosen using simple random sampling and questionnaire, interviews and observation were used to collect primary data from the respondents. It was established that adoption of bee keeping integration resulted in an improvement in income from 6.7% in 2020 to 7.1% in 2021 and this was statistically significant (P<0.05). Farmers had a positive perception of integrating bee keeping with coffee and majority perceived it as source of additional income, require few resources to commence, the necessary skills can be quickly transferred, hives are made from local resources and not labour intensive 210 (100%). The study findings also established that most farmers were not using innovative technologies and the major technologies farmers were using included; possession of top bar or Langstroth p=0.022, provision of supplemental feeds p=0.04 and engaging in bee pollination services and pollen collection p=0.046 as compared with the time spent while integrating bee keeping in coffee plantations.
The study further established the challenges farmers face while integrating coffee with bee keeping as; poor management skills, shortage of honey forage, diseases pests and predators, lack of awareness about valuable contribution of bees, lack of trainers and training opportunities, lack of new research information, inadequate bee keeping equipment, price fluctuations and lack of grading system, bee hive theft, weak producer organizations and lack of clear policies to protect the producers from pesticide poisoning. The study recommended provision of constant trainings, formulation of participatory policy that would encourage conservation of pollinators and farmers to be equipped with knowledge and tools to enable them to make informed decisions

Open-Data and Data Acquisition for Smart Cities and Urban Mobility Studies: Potential Approaches and Current Challenges
The experience of urban users is shaped by cities—by their shapes, components, and how they function. An immense quantity of data is included in the process of how the city functions, how it affects its inhabitants, and how its residents view its components. Researchers need an extensive number of datasets on land use (type & quantification) and geometric dimensions of the built environment (3D, form, & pattern) to fully grasp this relationship. In addition to the need to collect data about users’ experience via using web-based/location-based surveys. The acquisition, exploration, and analysis of these datasets contributes to enabling a better understanding, operation, and monitoring of the city’s systems. Thus, facilitating the design, implementation, and operation of functional, efficient, and reliable smart cities. This paper focuses on transportation and mobility, and how can open-data sources be utilized for data acquisition for urban mobility studies. This highlights possible, simple, and accessible open-data acquisition tools for urban planners. It further outlines the limitations and challenges for data acquisition related to the global south context. The main aim is to explore the potential of integrating different open-data sources, web-based tools, and data analytics in defining travel time map and accessibility with respect to modality of mobility. It examines the accessibility, availability, and obtainability of data from these open-data sources (i.e., OpenStreetMap, Uber Movement, Jupyter Notebook) to be further used in urban studies, specifically in the context of the selected case study area. An exploratory approach is adopted to perform an analysis between the built environment and travel time during mobility, using Isochrone map acquired from open-data sources. The aim is to delineate an approach that could be adopted by urban planners who are not well acquainted with open-data sources, python scripts and codes. This approach could be utilized, modified, and replicated in further urban studies related to other regional contexts similar to the Egyptian context
Evaluation of Seismic Potential Performance of Unej College Buildings in Lumajang Using the Pushover Method
The regulation on seismic safety design standards for building structures states that Indonesia is one of the countries with a high risk of earthquakes in most areas. To know the strength of structures during an earthquake, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of buildings using a nonlinear static analysis method (pushover). This analysis is used to assess the structural performance of buildings and to design them for seismic resistance in the event of an earthquake at the building\u27s location. This indicates that structural components have been damaged and become less rigid, but are still strong enough to withstand collapse. Non-structural components still exist, but are no longer functional, but can be reused after repair. Strong column design concept when a beam weakness is met, this is indicated by the initial formation of plastic connections on the beam elements.  
Exploring the Classroom Environment in a Grade 7 Flipped Science Class in the Philippines
The limitations of the traditional lecture method of teaching motivated teachers to transform education based on how students learn and the kind of environment they are in by integrating technology into the teaching and learning process. Using a descriptive research design, this study compared the characteristics of the classroom in a conventional classroom (CC) and a flipped classroom (FC) setting. Two intact classes of Grade 7 students participated in this study. The FC strategy investigated in this study encouraged learners to learn at their own pace by coming to class prepared for active learning activities. Class activities were observed, and classroom observation scores for each setting were gathered and analyzed. Statistical analysis showed that there was sufficient evidence to say that the classroom environment in class observation days 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14 (p-values of 0.0152, 0.0012, <0.0001, 0.0006, and <0.0001, respectively) were significantly different for the two classroom set-ups with the FC set-up showing a better classroom environment than the CC in terms of productivity, quality of feedback, language modeling, instructional learning format, and concept development. During the first four days of implementation, there was a lack of a pleasant atmosphere, effective behavior management, high-quality feedback, high levels of productivity, and the creation of new concepts. In addition, the action undertaken by the teacher/researcher to address the challenges in developing a positive classroom environment in the flipped classroom was discussed in this study.
