A Micro-Museum Quarter in Sombor, Serbia, as a Sustainable Model for Managing Cultural Heritage in Small Shrinking Cities in Europe
Get PDFA museum quarter is praised as a suitable model for the regeneration of global cities. However, it has rarely been implemented in smaller, shrinking cities with a rich heritage, which has become a ‘new normality’ across Europe. These cities usually face institutional, organisational, and economic limitations in their development. Forming a museum quarter at a micro-scale in such city can be a rational model to address these constraints. This paper presents an emerging micro-museum quarter in the historic city of Sombor in Serbia, where the bottom-up level initiated it to deal with the fast shrinkage of the city. /// Le quartier-musée est présenté comme un modèle efficace pour la régénération des grandes métropoles. Néanmoins, il n’a jamais été appliqué aux plus petites villes ou aux villes en décroissance dont les sites patrimoniaux sont pourtant d’une grande richesse. Ces villes deviennent une « nouvelle normalité » dans le paysage européen et font face à des restrictions institutionnelles, organisationnelles et économiques. Construire des quartiers-musées à une micro-échelle dans de telles villes pourrait être une solution pour surmonter ces restrictions. and artistic), the architectural context of the phenomenon’s
manifestation, the chronological development of the fluidity

Posmatrajući prostor kao širok pojam, u fokusu istraživanja su zaštićena područja, područja posebne namene koja uživaju specifi čan režim zaštite prirodnih dobara i status javnog interesa. S obzirom da je na teritoriji Republike Srbije primetna određena površina područja sa posebnim režimom zaštite, koji indirektno utiče na razvoj prostorno-funkcionalne celine, korišćena su područja posebne namene Nacionalnog parka Tara i Parka prirode Mokra Gora (PPPPN NP Tara i PP Mokra Gora) kao primeri u praksi,
a čija je razrada područja sprovedena različitim procesima zakonske regulative. Uvidom u „Smernice za sprovođenje planskog dokumenta“, utvrđuju se elementi sprovođenja na prostoru oba područja.The subject of the research is the development process of the existing and possible zones of settlements in the spatial entity. Looking at the space as a broad concept, the focus of the research is protected areas, special purpose areas that enjoy a specific regime of protection of natural resources and the status of public interest. ХЕРСУС платформа дељења је дигитална платформа за истраживаче и студенте замишљена као образовно средство и архива ресурса о темама одрживости и свести о наслеђу у архитектури и урбанизму. Платформа је дизајнирана и развијена као извор референци и инспирације када се ради о истраживањима у областима које пројекат ХЕРСУС има за циљ да истражи. Get PDFUnlike the Museum's architecture, which dominates the border between green (the park) and blue (the sky), the designed pavilion feels like an unobtrusive curved floating line, like a hinterland that only emphasizes the weight of the white crystal with its own immediate surroundings.
