No full textAs the first and most important institution, language institutionalizes all institutions, gives them the power to become disciplines and produce knowledge. In architectural theory and practice, language defines the processes of architectural design, while in architectural philosophy it reveals conceptualization and thematization. The main goal of this project is to extensively study architectural concepts. By introducing the philosophical text into the process of architectural design, this project aims to examine the relation between architectural concept (philosophy), architectural design (technology) and architectural project (process). Furthermore, this research will attempt to assemble an architectural dictionary of technical terms and notions, and then apply them to deconstruct architectural concepts

Inovativne urbane akcije kao podrška održivom i integralnom razvoju grada
Get PDFU radu je dat pregled mogućnosti primene novih upravljačkih instrumenata održivog
i integralnog teritorijalnog razvoja u uslovima kompleksnih i promenljivih uticaja na lokalni
kontekst grada. Urbane inicijative za podsticanje inovativnih akcija su noviji instrument EU.
Imaju za zadatak da podstaknu inovacije kroz proces ko-kreacije i podrže razvijanje i razmenu
znanja o održivom i integralnom urbanom razvoju. Inovativne urbane akcije (IUA) su razvijene
kroz deset projekata studenata prve godine master studija Arhitektonskog fakulteta Univerziteta
u Beogradu, generacije 2020/21, na primeru grada Kragujevca. Cilj rada je da istakne neke
od prednosti IUA koje se ispoljavaju kroz ko-kreativni proces razvijanja projekata, iskorak ka
inovacijama i značaj prostorne dimenzije upravljanja teritorijom.The paper gives an overview of the possibilities of applying new governance instruments for sustainable and integrated territorial development in the conditions of complex and variable influences on the local context of the city. Urban initiatives to encourage innovative actions are a newer instrument of the EU. They encourage innovation through the process of co-creation and support the development and exchange of knowledge on sustainable and integrated urban development. Innovative urban actions (UIA) were developed through ten projects of master’s students at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade on the case of the city of Kragujevac. The

Get PDFПредстављајући Србију на Бијеналу архитектуре у Венецији 2020/2021, МуБГД, тим сачињен од осам архитеката, пројектовао је и произвео изложбу под насловом Осми километар. Предлог изложбе изабрао је Стручни савет путем отвореног конкурса за дизајн организованог од стране Музеја примењене уметности, уз подршку Министарства културе и информисања, у Београду 2019. године.
МуБГД тим интерпретирао је тему Седамнаесте међународне архитектонске изложбе La Biennale di Venezia Како ћемо живети заједно? кроз однос живот – рад, који генерише облике колективности и манифестује се кроз однос производне базе градова и изграђене урбане структуре. Посебан предмет истраживања који чини основни садржај изложбе у Павиљону Србије је Бор, рударски град смештен у источној Србији. Просторно-географски позициониран у оквиру рударског басена обојених метала, овај град је урбанистички и архитектонски развијен у периоду послератне индустријализације, чиме је надограђен његов мултикултурални карактер претходно развијен захваљујући основној привредној делатности овог града – рударству

ДОБРОВИЋА: ПЕРИОД ДРУГОГ СВЕТСКОГ РАТА
У периодизацији сложене професионалне праксе Николе Добровића, пери-
од Другог светског рата најчешће остаје на маргинама уобичајене трипартит-
не поделе, као пауза између јасно детерминисаних структуралних целина,
дубровачког и београдског раздобља. Заснована на студијама културног кон-
текста и детаљним увидима у личну преписку архитекте, новија истрживања
расветљавају Добровићеве ратне године као време тешког живота у оскуди-
ци и време интензивне посвећености физичком и умном раду (Благојевић у
Иванишин, Thaler, Благојевић, 2015). Сам Добровић у позним годинама беле-
жи да је то време студирања „свега што би у недостатку књига доспело под
руке“ (Крунић, Перовић, ур., 1998: 316). Циљ овог рада је да се додатно ра-
светле, контекстуализују и објасне поједине Добровићеве идеје и концепци-
је настале у овим екстремним историјским околностима. У средишту пажње
су пројекти настали непосредно уочи Другог светског рата и писани радови
који су по завршетку рата имали битан утицај на формирање Добровићевих
ауторских позиција. У ширем смислу, рад се бави инструментима критичког
мишљења и деловања у време када су услови за критичку стручну праксу
радикално сужени или у потпуности укинути. Употребом метода упоредне
анализе и критичке анализе садржаја, испитаће се и проблематизовати са
савремене тачке гледишта две комплементарне технике Добровићеве дру-
штвене и уметничке критике: перманентни интелектуални отпор, с једне, и
визионарско промишљање будућег друштва, са друге стране
Convergence of spatially-oriented sciences and new integration of digital spatial design and research : building digital space for investigative procedures and concrete actions – spatial/architectural insights for security studies
No full textStarting from the paradigm of convergence of spatially oriented sciences and integration of spatial research and design in such a context, the paper leads major topics towards the explanation of digital environments and systems as instruments for spatial investigative procedures, tools for achieving hybrid intelligence, and sources capable of providing the necessary proofs and reliable material for scientific argumentation, spatial action, and intervention. At the first level, it has been assumed that previously established spatially grounded cross-disciplinary relations could be reinvestigated in the light of more recent technological and scientific innovations, as well as new disciplinary connectivities and potential applications, particularly the links between spatial/urban/architectural and security studies. At the second level, a more precise definition of new research methodologies based on specific interchangeability between physical and digital environments (spatial information, intelligence, design, and communication they entail and activate) emerges as a result, complementing a broader field of research methodologies. With respect to both, digital spatial information and intelligence systems, or digital investigative environments that have been devised by spatial/architectural design and research along with adjacent research areas, have been proposed as forms and formats offering new insights for security studies and their investigative, analytical, and problem-solving methodologies, strategies, and tactics. Post-Socialist Shrinking City in the Borderland Danube Region
Get PDFBorder cities are particularly susceptible to urban shrinkage. The EU territorial documents consider borderland cities and regions as more vulnerable ones (EC, 1999). The border effect manifests itself in a two-fold manner, on the one hand, cities can be affected by accessibility issues, having few connections to their own country or be under the pull of larger nearby cities. No full textТема рада је улога урбанистичке струке у планирању меморијалних комплекса и објеката у Београду у периоду 1969-1981, током ког је излазио стручни часопис Urbanizam Beograda. Користећи као главни извор текстове објављене у часопису Urbanizam Beograda, рад ће се бавити ставом стручне јавности у процесу доношења одлука у планирању меморијала кроз преглед текстова о појединачним споменицима у јавним просторима, политикама урбаног развоја, као и најзначајнијим конкурсима везаним за меморијале и спомен-обележја који су били тема писања различитих аутора у Urbanizmu Beograda. Посматрајући шири историјски контекст Југославије и њене културне политике кроз призму меморијалне архитектуре, биће обрађени различити процеси и кључне теме које су утицале на урбанистичко пројектовање меморијала, као и значај који је стручна јавност имала за процес доношења одлука. Истраживање се базира на анализи стручних чланака објављених у Urbanizmu Beograda, али и анализи ширег друштвено-политичког контекста Београда, како би се проширило разумевање одлука и ставова стручне јавности у периоду 1969-1981. Циљ рада је успостављање релације између политике и струке, као и идентификовање примене различитих планерских механизама креирања колективног сећања, препознатих у часопису Urbanizam Beograda. Резултати истраживања упућују на конкретне јавне просторе и конкурсе у којима је стручна јавност имала аутономију доношења одлука које су се заснивале на интердисциплинарном приступу планирању, и нису увек биле у складу са друштвено-политичком ситуацијом, а које су биле објављене у Urbanizmu Beograda.The topic of the paper is the role of the urban profession in the planning of the memorial complexes and monuments in Belgrade from 1969 to 1981, during which the professional journal Urbanizam Beograda was published. Using articles published in the journal Urbanizam Beograda as its main source the paper will address the stance of the expert public in the decision-making process in the planning of memorials. This includes a review of articles on individual monuments in public spaces, urban development policies, and the most important competitions related to the memorials and monuments written about by different authors in Urbanizam Beograda. Looking at the broader historical context of Yugoslavia and its cultural policies through the prism of memorial architecture, different processes and key topics that influenced the urban design of the memorial will be addressed, as well as the regard the expert public had for the decision-making process. The research is based on an analysis of expert articles published in Urbanizam Beograda, as well as an analysis of the broader socio-political context of Belgrade, in order to expand understanding of the decisions and stance of the professional public in the period 1969 to 1981. The paper aims to establish a relationship between politics and the profession, as well as to identify the implementation of different planning mechanisms for creating collective memory, recognized in the journal Urbanizam Beograda. The results of the research point to specific articles about public spaces and competitions published in Urbanizam Beograda, in which the professional public had the autonomy to make decisions based on an interdisciplinary approach to planning, which was not always in line with the socio-political situation
Extension of Belgrade University school of Electrical Engineering [STRAND, 2022]

in which are placed University of Belgrade Technical Faculties,
Library and also Serbian Archive, not only theirs appearance,
but visibility of common existence, this proposal of lifting a
new building above ground seems more than appropriate, in
a way liberating, both in terms of theirs present and future life.
Conceived as a raised and transparent volume, does not blurs,
but enables establishing clear ratio regarding those buildings
which are, most importantly, cultural goods and objects of
special value. On the one hand, as an act, intervention itself
indicates urban existence of city square, park and dorm, while
at the same time forms its own public open space, which is,
at the level of the roof and parterre, visually connected with
them. As is placed in project, this new building equally brings
new look and life for its students and teachers, but also unique,
in a way privileged and belonging position for Belgrade
