Internet of Things (IoT) has become a phenomenon in many researchers. A smart digital automated system based on IoT plays major role which helps in reducing human work by applying interaction technology in daily life. This research introduces the IoT Smart Door Lock where smartphone uses Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) to activate the door lock. By using Android software, the smartphone will automatically activate the door lock within a specific range. Data transmission will be done using Wi-Fi technology. So, the user does not have to worry whether the door has been locked or not because user can control it by using their smartphone within a specific range. The user also does not have to worry about losing the door key anymore because there is no device required except user’s smartphone. This project consists of hardware and software development. The main purpose on the design is to prevent the situation where the user is unable to unlock the door when the key is missing also to give a solution for users to monitor door status when they forget the door has been locked or not. This system aims to eliminate the use of keys to access the door, where the daily struggle faced to bring along a bunch of keys anywhere. Besides that, the door locking system must function efficiently. The prototype of this system is successfully done, the procedure and the software and hardware requirement has been compiled in this report

Survey on Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease using Different Types of Neural Network Architecture

    Get PDF
Alzheimer’s disease is a condition that leads to, progressive neurological brain disorder and destroys cells of the brain thereby causing an individual to lose their ability to continue daily activities and also hampers their mentality. Diagnostic symptoms are experienced by patients usually at later stages after irreversible neural damage occurs. Detection of AD is challenging because sometimes the signs that distinguish AD MRI data, can be found in MRI data of normal healthy brains of older people. Even though this disease is not completely curable, earlier detection can aid in promising treatment and prevent permanent damage to brain tissues. Age and genetics are the greatest risk factors for this disease. This paper presents the latest reports on AD detection based on different types of Neural Network Architectures

    Get PDF
COVID-19 has disrupted the business sector globally, ushering developed and developing economies into an unprecedented recession beyond anything experienced in nearly a century. Governments across the globe have adopted a myriad of preventive measures. These remedial actions vary from one country to the other. Nonetheless, in Zimbabwe the government gave a blind eye on the informal sector as evidenced by the adopted preventive measures which neglected the plight of informal traders. To this end, this research interrogates the shadow pandemic in the Zimbabwean informal sector using Chiredzi District as an illustrative case study. Documentary review and key informed interviews were at the core of research methodology. The study found out that informal economy businesses are excluded from government grants, closure of businesses, failure to pay rentals, disruption of the supply chain, psychological impact and family dysfunctional are the quandaries causing a shadow pandemic. Inclusion of informal economy businesses in policies and government grants, government should negotiate with landlords, informal traders should be allowed to operate and inclusive social nets are the possible remedial actions that the government can adopted

    Get PDF
Neonatal sepsis contributes as much as 75% in increasing the neonatal mortality rate that occurs first week of birth. Neonatal sepsis is characterized by entry of bacteria in the blood that can be life-threatening. Process of neonatal sepsis can occur very quickly, if not treated with adequate treatment, death can occur within 24-48 hours. Neonatal sepsis is affected by infant factors like low birth weight (LBW). LBW in neonates can be easily infected due to immature immune formation. The study used literature review methods. Literature sourced from five databases: Biomed Central, Plus One, Pubmed, Proquest and Science Direct. Search with PICOS framework 15 journals used to analyze and obtained. Results showed the incidence of neonatal sepsis with the percentage incidence of sepsis at 16.9%-77.8%. LBW is risk of developing sepsis with the highest percentage compared to other birth weight classifications. Majority of journals stated there was a significant relationship between birth weight and neonatal sepsis (p value: 0,0131-0,001). Nurses play a role in conducting  assessment begin ranging from pregnant to the birth and give a comprehensive nursing care earlier for birth babies less than 2.500 gram. It's effort decrease incidence of neonatal sepsis. &nbsp

Legal Politics of Legislation of Regional Regulations in Indonesia

    Get PDF
Regional regulations are written regulations containing generally binding legal norms established by the Regional People's Representative Council with the joint approval of the Regional Head. The regional legislation program has an important and strategic position in the formation of regional regulations. However, most local regulations actually get rejection from the community until they are revoked by the government. The method used in this research is normative legal research. The process of making local regulations rarely involves the community so that local regulations that are born are often not accepted by the community. The Regional Government and the Regional People's Legislative Assembly should first prepare a regional legislation program to determine the needs of the region and the needs of the community, then make regional regulations that are in accordance with the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan or Regional Strategic Plan. Therefore, there must be political will from the Regional Government and the Regional House of Representatives to establish cooperation with universities in conducting studies on a problem so that it becomes an academic text that is ready to be ratified into a regional regulation
