Beban Kerja Obyektif Tenaga Perawat di Pelayanan Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit
Inpatient services at the X Hospital consists of Intensive Care Units and Inpatient Units. In 2014, a nurse at the unit as a whole experienced a shortfall of 66.67% from 9 rooms there. This shortage triggered theincreasing of nurse workload. This study aimed to find out the objective workload on nurses in Intensive Care Units and Inpatient Units. This research is quantitative descriptive with cross-sectional design. The sample used is total sampling, as many as 174 nurses. Data obtained using activity sheets time and motion study indirectly (self-assessment). Results from this study show the objective workload in the Intensive Care Unit on the morningshift have a heavy workload category, afternoon shift and the night shift has a moderate workload category, while at Inpatient Unit on the morning shift and afternoon shift has a heavy workload category, and shift night has amoderate workload category. The conclusion of this study is objective workload in the Intensive Care Unit has a moderate workload category, while the objective workload in the Inpatient Unit has a heavy workload category.Keywords: nurse,objective workload, time and motion stud
Evaluasi Kinerja Billingsystem Rawat Inap Menggunakan Kerangka Pieces
The occurrence of patient dissatisfaction in Wiyung Sejahtera Hospital associated with the duration in providing the hospitalization bills information shows 90.26% in January to November 2014. This research aimed to analyze the knowledge, necessity of skills training and human resource needed related to billingsysteminevaluating the performance of billing system through user's perspective by using PIECES Framework. This isdescriptive analytic studywith cross-sectional design. Information obtained from 57 respondents, which inputand verifies bills on the application billingsystem hospitalization. The result showed that the knowledge of billingsystemusers is good, the necessity of IT training is not fulfilled and user's skills is not good. Billingsystemhospitalization performance evaluation using PIECES Framework results for all indicators are constraints; Performancemean 2,6667; Informationmean 2,8319; Economymean 2,6901; Controlmean 2,7544; Efficiency mean 2,7661 and Servicemean 2,8596. There is a strong correlation between training toward users knowledge about billingsystem. In order to improve the quality of service, it is urgently required to hospital itself providing training to users, developing into a fully package integrated system and arranging standard operating procedures.Keywords: billingsystemperformance, evaluation,PIECES framewor
Pelaksanaan Supervisi Imunisasi Campak di Puskesmas Wilayah Surabaya Utara
Measles is one of endemic diseases in East Java especially in north Surabaya, the home of specific ethnic which resist of immunization. Surabaya District Health Office targeted their Measles immunization is above 90%,but unfortunately this target are never been reached. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management process of immunization program, especially the supervision. The guidance of supervision is regulated in HealthMinister Regulation number 42, on 2013. Supervision is involved performance standard setting, monitoring and corrective action. This is a quantitative study with descriptive and cross sectional design. The sampling wascalculated by using simple random sampling. The interviews through open and close question were conducted to 38 Managers of Immunization program in Public Health Centre. The result showed that the implementation ofsupervision has implemented by guidance the supervision of immunization programme. The study showed that only 2.63% or just one of Public Health Centre has already supervised by District Health Office and 5.26% or twoPublic Health Centres has supervised three times and suit with guidance implementation of general supervision. From this study, it is important for District Health Office to add new person as Supervisor and Public HealthCentres and ensure that its supervision follow the supervision guidance.Keywords: Measles immunization, North Surabaya, supervisio
Identifikasi Ketidaklengkapan Pengisian Dokumen Rekam Medis Rawat Jalan Berdasarkan Teori Motivasi Ekspektansi
Completeness of medical record documents becomes important because it describe the practice of quality services. East Java Community Eye Hospital have problems with completeness of medical record documentation.Incompleteness medical record documentation of outpatient at East Java Community Eye Hospital was rated at 87, 67%.The object of this study was to identification the incompleteness of medical record documentation ofoutpatient based on Victor Vroom expectancy theory motivation at East Java Community Eye Hospital. The present study conducts a cross-sectional, descriptive research during May 2016 through to use questionnairesand observation on medical record documentation of outpatient. The respondent of this study were personnel who were filling the outpatient medical record documentation. These people were 5 doctors, 5 refractions, and 6 nurses. The result of the study showed that Filling of the medical record documentation at East Java Community Eye Hospital was low. Motivation has driving factor to the incompleteness of outpatient medical record documentation at East Java Community Eye Hospital. Hubungan Bauran Pemasaran Jasa Pelayanan Keperawatan dengan Loyalitas Pasien
ABSTRACTHigh public interest to go abroad for treatment need to be a particular concern for hospitals in the country. The hospital is not only able to create berkelualitas services but also need to create loyalty to the patient. Loyalty will be created if any implementation of nursing services mix well done. This study aims to determine the relationship of nursing mix shipping services with patient loyalty. This type of survey research with cross sectional analytic study with a sample of 68 people. The way to get the sample with stratified proportional is random sampling. The research result was analyzed by using chi square and logistic regression test. The result of research showed that there is a significant relationship between the marketing mix with nursing service ( product, place, price, promotion, people, and process, as well as physical evidence) with the patient loyalty in which score p > 0,05. A conclusion of the research is simplified that there is a relationship between the marketing mix with hospital service for the patient loyalty. The relationship could be seen at people variable and health insurance with patient loyalty. The development division for service and marketing at hospital is necessary to apply the specific cost as to promote the old patient and the qualified service of nursing. The other major focus want to develop the healthy service of nursing treatment, also provide the patients' satisfaction, thus it make patients' loyalty on the installation of hospitality of Ambun Pag.Keywords: mixed, marketing, loyalty, patient
Hubungan Karakteristik Individu terhadap Penilaian Kualitas Produk Apotek Rawat Jalan
ABSTRACTPharmacy services in hospitals need special attention to achieve effectiveness and efficiency of quality dimensions. Achievement of customer satisfaction figures in Dr. Moewardi Pharmacy Hospital Surakarta didn't meet hospital standards that set in the amount of ≥ 80% over the years 2013 to 2014, especially in the outpatient pharmacy. The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between the individual factors of patient (age, sex, educational level, employment status, income level) to product quality assessment in an outpatient pharmacy. This research is an observational analytic with cross sectional study design. Data was collected by interview using a questionnaire. Analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The Results of the analysis of the factor that were significantly associated with the assessment of product quality are age and employment status. The majority of respondents give high scores for product quality assessment. Individual patient factors associated with product quality assessment in outpatient pharmacies are age and employment status. Need to maintain the quality of existing products, and specifically to the dimensions of the product's features need to increase in order to better product quality.Keywords: pharmacy services, individual factors, products qualit
Analisis Pengaruh Komunikasi, Kepemimpinan dan Tim Kerja terhadap Kedisiplinan Pegawai Rumah Sakit X Surabaya
ABSTRACTDiscipline is one of significant factors that increase the employee's perfomance. One of discipline indicators is absenteeism. Absenteeism rate of employee in 2014 was high especially for alpa (22,35%). Purpose of this research analyze communication, leadership and team work influence to discipline employees.This research using cross sectional method. Respondents are 36 employees. The sampling through stratified random sampling. The location is in a hospital. The result of this research showed the effectivity of communication level is in moderate cathegory (50%). The hospital leadership has supported employees to be discipline (50%). The effetivity of team work level is high (77,8%). The result of linier regression tests between dependent variable with several independent variables showed that communication (p=0,024) and teamwork (0,004) variables influence employees discipline.Based on the results, to enhance the effectivity of communication by regulating information flow and utilizing feedback. To enhance the effectivity of team work by making an event can increase the flexibility, cohesivity, viability dan communication team such as outbound.Keywords: communication, discipline, leadership and teamwor
Penilaian Koordinasi Antarunit Kerja di Rumah Sakit Berdasarkan High Performance Work Practices
ABSTRACTThe survey about coordination in hospital showed that the coordinaton between units have low score including the lack of communication and problem solving between units. The objectives of this study is to describe coordination in hospital considered by high performance practices that consist of 5 items : selection for cross-functional teamwork, rewards for cross-functional teamwork, cross-functional teamwork conflict resolution, cross-functional meetings, and cross-functional boundary spanner. This research is descriptive study using cross sectional design. Samples or respondents are 16, selected using purposive sampling according to the units which their function and job still related with the medical service in the hospital. The result showed that there are a specific criteria to select their employee. The most responden said that education level is the most important criteria for the selection. There is a reward for the best employee those are trophy and some money given to the best employee and the best group of the months. There is conflict resolution through the meeting with the supervisor and director to discuss their problems. There is functional meeting that is weekly report, and there is boundary spanner to coordinated with the other unit if they have problems. This study conclude that coordination in hospital can complete four items of performance work practice, but aspect cross-functional meetings still not working properly. Therefore, it needs to be repaired because this meeting is important to discuss about development of the medical service in this hospital.Keywords :Coordination, high performance work practices, medical servic
Analisis Sistem Kemitraan dalam Program Imunisasi Berdasarkan Peran Perangkat Desa, Bidan Desa, dan Masyarakat
ABSTRACT Sumenep regency as the most eastern districts in the region Madura have not been able to meet the target of Universal Child Immunization (UCI) coverage in accordance with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) Indonesian government. Application of the village partnership system is expected to increase the scope of UCI in the village. This research is aimed to analyze the inputs, processes, and outputs the village partnership system is based on the role of village officials, village midwives, and society. This study uses observational descriptive with cross sectional design. Samples were collected using stratified random sampling method consist of the villages, midwives, and community groups. The result showed that the majority of village officials, midwives, and community groups unoptimal in partnership system in the village, so the need to improvements to the village partnership system is good an solid. There was no significant effect of the variables role of village officials and midwives to result UCI village coverage. On community variables, the process of partnership, and the result of partnership, there are several variables that have significant influence. Based on the survey result it can be concluded that the system of partnership in the area Puskesmas do not use the integrated partnership model, but using a network model of partnership.Keywords: community development, immunization, partnership, Universal Child Immunizatio
Pengaruh Brand Knowledge Terhadap Pemilihan Rumah Sakit
ABSTRACT Brand knowledge is an information and public knowledge measurement related to consuming product. Low of care visit in clinical care of specialist dental health and hospital are 22% from maximum supply count each year, so it needs to analyze the decision of choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital based on brand knowledge. This study was an observational analytic, and based on the time, this study was cross-sectional study with stratified random sampling. There were 100 respondents that participated in this study. Statistical test used logistic regression. The result of this study indicated that there was no effectbetween brand awareness with the public desicion to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,746) and also there was no effectbetween brand image with the public decision to visit Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital (p=0,138). This study concluded that there was no effectof brand knowledge (that consists of brand awareness and brand image) toward the public decision in choosing Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital. According to the result, Airlangga University Dental Health and Hospital should improve their medical service quality by advertising and dissemination of their medical service information.
