Robust Performance and Resistance to Attack for the Advanced Encryption Standard using Dynamic Rotation
Recently the Rijndael algorithm has been uniform by the National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST as the Advanced Encryption Standard AES This makes AES a vital and necessary data-protection mechanism for federal agencies in the US and other countries In AES rotation occurs in key expansion ciphering and deciphering Rotation is vital for confusion and diffusion which play an important role in any cryptography technique Confusion and diffusion make breaking the key complex and difficult This paper studies the effect of reconfiguring the structure of AES especially replacing constant rotation with variable rotation The resulting producing another cipher is called Dynamic Rotation for Advanced Encryption Standard DRAES DRAES with variable rotation raises the complexity of the algorithm and thus increases the time consumed for brute-force attacks We measured the diffusion of AES and DRAES algorithms DRAES reached acceptable level of diffusion faster than AE

Detecting Sentiments from Movie Reviews by Integrating Reviewers Own Prejudice
Presently, sentiment analysis algorithms are widely used to extract positive or negative feedback scores of various objects on the basis of the text/reviews. But, an individual may have a certain degree of biasness towards a certain product/company and hence may not objectively review the object. We try to combat this biasness problem by incorporating the positive and negative bias component in the existing sentiment score of the object. This paper proposes several algorithms for a new system of implementing individual bias in the corpus of data i.e. movie reviews in this case. Each review comment has an unadjusted sentiment score associated with it. This unadjusted score is refined to give an adjusted score using the positive and negative bias score. The bias score is calculated using certain parameters, the weightage of which has been determined by conducting a survey. We lay emphasis on the degree of biasness an individual has towards or against the review parameters for the movie reviews corpus namely actor, director and genre. We equip the system with the capability to handle various scenarios like positive inclination of the user, negative inclination of the user, presence of both positive and negative inclination of the user and neutral attitude of the user by implementing the formulae we developed

A Cross Layer Model to Support QoS for Multimedia Applications on Wireless Networks
Supporting multimedia application over wireless networks poses multiple challenges. Currently the use of cross layer architectures and Scalable Video Coding ( ) techniques are considered to support multimedia applications. The current architectures fail to address the tradeoff that exists between the end to end delay and the Quality of Service ( ) provisioning of the video data to be delivered. To address this issue this paper introduces the improvement scheme in video transmission model based on a cross layer architecture. A novel encoding of the SVC video is considered in the proposed model. Based on the physical layer conditions and the achievable the model adapts to meet the stringent delay requirements of video delivery. Routing layer optimization is achieved by accounting for the pending packets queues in every neighboring node. The experimental study conducted prove the robustness of the proposed model by comparing with the existing schemes. Comparisons in terms of the transmission error rates, system utility and quality of reconstruction are presented
Moving Object Tracking using Color Feature in a Video
Video processing is one of the most challenging areas in image processing. It deals with identifying an object of interest. Motion detection has been used in many fields either directly or indirectly. In this paper an efficient approach to motion detection in video sequence using color feature extraction operator. Using this approach we improve the background subtraction and detecting the moving object with greater accuracy. In this paper, background modeling is done in order to make the update of background due to light illumination and change in the weather condition. Foreground detection is done before updating the background model. Color feature extraction is done in order to avoid the dynamic background such as moving leaves, rain, snow, rippling water
How to Successfully Implement a Corporate Taxonomy
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to develop a methodology to follow while implementing a corporate taxonomy. Design/methodology/approach: The presented results are grounded in both academic literature on taxonomy and qualitative data from two departments within the same organization that implemented separate taxonomy structures. Findings: The study identifies ten factors to consider when implementing a corporate taxonomy as well as a defined nine step process to implement when implementing a successful corporate taxonomy. Research limitations/implications: The scope of the literature review and the case study were both limited as finding multiple taxonomy experts in one organization is rare, the account of the research is not considered exhaustive. The paper can assist practioners in a high level approach to implementing a corporate taxonomy as well as things to invoke to increase the chances of a successful implementation
