Metrics for Quality Assurance of Web based Applications
Web-Commerce applications are now an indispensable aspect of businesses around the world. More businesses are now migrating from outdated applications to a new type of combined ebusiness designs. With such large volumes of applications that need to be put online, there is now a dire need for measurable and quantifiable metrics that can help in gauging the quality of these websites. The development considerations for both domains may be deemed similar in their final purpose, that is to provide a service to its end-users, however, web-applications today face a myriad of constraints, with most businesses opting to go online, the crucial questions are; Is the Web info metrics are any different, or is it just an application of classical metrics (desktop metrics) to a new medium (web metrics). In our research, we propose to investigate these issues, and present the distinguishable metrics for the Quality Assurance(QA) processes involved in Web-Applications, as opposed to traditional desktop software application
A Comparitive Study On Location based Multicast Routing Protocols of WSN: HGMR, HRPM, GMR
Wireless sensor network comprises of a set of sensor nodes that communicate among each other using wireless links and work in an open and distributed manner due to which wireless sensor networks are highly prone to attacks. This is difficult to determine the position of the sensor nodes; therefore the sensor network protocols must inculcate self-organizing competence. Location awareness is one of the important concern in WSN because for a network mostly data collection is grounded on location, so this is imperative for all the nodes to know their position whenever it is required and it is also helpful in calculating the distance between two particular nodes to deal with energy consumption issues. Channel Sharing based Medium Access Control Protocol for Wireless Nano Sensing Network
Recent advancement and grown up technologies has enabled the development and implementation of low-cost, energy efficient and versatile sensor networks. Sensor networks are built up with sensors that have the ability to sense physical or environmental property. Assumption can be made that Wireless Sensing Network (WSN) is able to sense environmental conditions at Nano and gaseous level. This architecture of Wireless Sensor Network is maintained by a sub-layer named Medium Access Control Layer that provides addressing and channel access control mechanism among multiple nodes of the network and makes these nodes capable to communicate with other nodes through a shared medium. The hardware that implements the MAC is referred to as a medium access controller. This paper finds the problems in selection of cluster nodes and transmitting data and also proposes an improved MAC protocol to minimize the problem

Supervised Content based Image Retrieval using Fuzzy Texton and Shearlet Transform
In this paper we proposed, a novel framework to assist and automate the diagnosis of diseases from computer-based image analysis method using Content-based image retrieval (CBIR). CBIR is the process of retrieving related images from large database collections by using low level image features such as color, texture and shape etc. we have used fuzzy texton and discrete shearlet transform to extract texture and shape features. The aim is to support decision making by retrieving and displaying relevant past cases visually similar to the one under examination with relevance feedback using Support Vector Machines
Attribute Assignment to Point Cloud Data and Its Usage
In recent years, with the development of laser measurement technology, utilization of point cloud data is progressing. However, since point cloud data does not contain attribute information, the usability of the data is low. It is possible to consider that by assigning attributes to the nonattribute point cloud data, this can lead to the usage of point cloud data in each phase of life cycle of construction: design, construction, and maintenance. Therefore, in this paper, the authors have proposed an attribute assignment method for point cloud data. In addition, the authors proposed the way to use attributed point cloud data, the usage as objects, data linkage, and visualization by using the attribute assignment method. P2DM-RGCD: PPDM Centric Classification Rule Generation Scheme
In present day applications the approach of data mining and associated privacy preservation plays a significant role for ensuring optimal mining function. The approach of privacy preserving data mining (PPDM) emphasizes on ensuring security of private information of the participants. On the contrary majority of present mining applications employ the vertically partitioned data for mining utilities. In such scenario when the overall rule is divided among participants, some of the parties remain with fewer rules sets and thus the classification accuracy achieved by them always remain questionable. On the other hand, the consideration of private information associated with any part will violate the approach of PPDM. Therefore, in order to eliminate such situations and to provide a facility of rule regeneration in this paper, a highly robust and efficient rule regeneration scheme has been proposed ensures optimal classification accuracy without using any critical user information for rule generation. The proposed system developed a rule generation function called cumulative dot product (P2DM-RGCD) rule regeneration scheme. The developed algorithm generates two possible optimal rule generation and update functions based on cumulative updates and dot product. The proposed system has exhibited optimal response in terms of higher classification accuracy, minimum information loss and optimal training efficiency

An Enhanced Wavelet based Image Compression Technique
With the fast expansion of multimedia technologies, the compression of multimedia data has become an important aspect. Image compression is important for efficient storage and transmission of images. The limitation in bandwidth of wireless channels has made data compression a necessity. Wireless channels are bandwidth limited and due to this constraint of wireless channels, progressive image transmission has gained much popularity and acceptance. The Embedded Zerotree Wavelet algorithm (EZW) is based on progressive encoding, in which bits in the bit stream are generated in order of importance. The EZW algorithm, code all the frequency band of wavelet coefficients as the same importance without considering the amount of information in each frequency band.
