    Spectrum Assignment Scheme based on Genetic Algorithm for Cognitive Radio Receiver

    Spectrum scarcity is one of the major challenges that the present world is facing. The efficient use of existing licensed spectrum is becoming most critical as growing demand of the radio spectrum. Different researches show that the use of licensed are not utilized inefficiently. It has been also shown that primary user does not use more than 60% of the licensed frequency band most of the time. There is need to find the techniques that can efficiently utilize the under-utilized licensed spectrum. One of the approaches is the use of 201C;Cognitive Radio201D;. This allows the radio to learn from its environment, changing certain parameters. Based on this knowledge the radio can dynamically exploit the spectrum holes in the licensed band of the spectrum. This paper focuses on the performance of spectrum allocation technique, based on popular meta-heuristics Genetics Algorithm. Analyzing the performance of this technique using Matlab achieves mean fitness of 9.41. It provides fittest channels to the cognitive user on the basis of four priority parameters (genes) viz frequency, power, BER and modulation

    Achievement of Maqasid-al-Shari`ah in Islamic Banking: An Evaluation of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited

    Shari`ah is the foundation of Islamic banking and also any other form of Islamic organization. The ultimate goal of the Islamic organization is to achieve the Shari`ah objectives, that is, Maqasid-al-Shari2019;ah. A comprehensive and careful examination of the Shari`ah rulings entails an understanding that Shari`ah aims at protecting and preserving public interests (i. e., Maslahah) in all aspects and segments of life. This study is a noble effort of evaluating the products of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) to justify how far these products are achieving the Maqasid-al-Shari2019;ah. The study found that the bank has been achieving the main and upmost (macro) Maqasid-al-Shari`ah, that is, public interest and the prohibition of riba over the last two decades. These two objectives have been achieving from the inception of the bank. However, the minor Maqasid-al-Shari`ah such as freeing from any kinds of debt and other benefits that related to macro-economics of the country is yet to be achieved in Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited

The basic problem found in it is the introduction various kinds of noises whose removal becomes difficult. The technologies are working on civilizing the excellence and resolution of images but these forms as one of the major face to de-noise the image and recover its perception. This paper represents the complete review of various filters and their comparative analysis which can be used with statistical parameters in digital image processing. We can simulate the various statistical parameters and view their results using plots. We can have their relative study with the aid of MATLAB simulation to relieve the selection of best filter for a particular noise introduced in MRI and USG image

To solve the NP complete and NP hard problems heuristic approaches are used.
