Why do we need to Introduce Temporal Behavior in Both Modern Science and Modern Computing, with an Outlook to Researching Modern Effects/Materials and Technologies
Classic science seemed to be completed more than a century ago, facing only a few (but growing number of!) unexplained issues. Introducing time-dependence into classic science explained those issues, and its consequent use led to the birth of a series of modern sciences, including relativistic and quantum physics. Classic computing is based on the paradigm proposed by von Neumann for vacuum tubes only, which seems to be completed in the same sense. Von Neumann warned, however, that implementing computers under more advanced technological conditions, using the paradigm without considering the transfer time (and especially attempting to imitate neural operation), would be unsound. However, classic computing science persists in neglecting the transfer time and is facing a few (but growing number of!) unexplained issues, and its development stalled in most of its fields. Introducing time-dependence into the classic computing science explains those issues and discovers the reasons for its experienced stalling. It can lead to a revolution in computing, resulting in a modern computing science, in the same way, as it resulted in modern science's birth
Performance Evaluation of Software using Formal Methods
Formal Methods (FMs) can be used in varied areas of applications and to solve critical and fundamental problems of Performance Evaluation (PE). Modelling and analysis techniques can be used for both system and software performance evaluation. The functional features and performance properties of modern software used for performance evaluation has become so intertwined. Traditional models and methods for performance evaluation has been studied widely which culminated into the modern models and methods for system and software engineering evaluation such as formal methods. Techniques have transcended from functionality to performance modeling and analysis. Formal models help in identifying faulty reasoning far earlier than in traditional design; and formal specification has proved useful even on already existing software and systems. Formal approach eliminates ambiguity. The basic and final goal of the performance evaluation technique is to come to a conclusion, whether the software and system are working in a good condition or satisfactorily
On The Notion of Percentage Nucleotide Concentration of Genome Sequences in Terms of Cellular Automata Evolutions of Adjoints Sequences
This paper proposes a novel concept called 201C;Percentage Nucleotide Concentration of genomes201D; in terms of cellular automata evolutions of adjoints of Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine. The adjoints of the given a genome sequenceare the characteristic binary string sequences. For example, the adjoint of Adenine of a given genome sequence is a binary string consisting of 02019;s and 12019;s where 12019;s corresponds to the presence of Adenine in the genome sequence. So, one can have four adjoint sequences of Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine corresponding to a given genome sequence. One-dimensional three neighborhood binary value cellular automata rules could be applied to an adjoint sequence and the desired number of evolutions obtained. These rules aredefined by linear Boolean functions and one can have 256 such linear Boolean functions.Nucleotide concentration is computed for an adjoint sequence and its variation evaluated for its successive evolutions based on a cellular automaton rule
Application and Analysis of Retail Inventory Using Data Mining Techniques
Data mining is one of the most essential tools for gathering information from different datasets in almost all recent industries. In this 21st-century, data mining gained attention because of its significance in decision making, and it has become a key component in various industries such as retail. Inventory management requires pre-planned goals and attention to detail, and prioritizing items that require less attention can be a waste of time and resources. Learning indications about customers2019; shopping patterns by showing associations among various provides significant value in managing retail inventory. In the present research paper, popular data mining techniques have been applied and analyzed for multi-item inventory management in retail sales stores to show how data mining techniques can optimize and organize the retail inventory
Sustainable Development in Block Random Systems
In paper [1], stability of a block random model was studied as a possible model for economic systems. Crisis means significant and quick change in the number of participants of a system. It was proved that a smaller system is more stable than a larger one with the same parameters. Further, the number of participants can significantly alter without any outer interactions resulting in crisis. In paper [2], stability properties of a block random model with fixed number of participants was investigated. It was studied, that how two parameters of the model, density matrix and dispersion influence behavior of the system. It was shown that proportionally smaller in absolute value density matrix results in a shorter cycle time. Also larger dispersion makes the cycle time shorter. It was suggested that a longer cycle time makes it possible the participants to adapt themselves to circumstances and thus to avoid crises. In this case repeated recessions and growths appear which can be called structural cycles. In the present paper we investigate connection between real parameters of economy and parameters of the block random model. We point out that base rate bounded by an appropriate level is useful for working the system without any crisis. As a result of these studies, it has become clear that sustainable development can be defined in terms of avoiding crisis rather than achieving growth

Enhancing Capacity and Network Performance of Client-Server Architectures Using Mobile IPv6 Host-Based Network Protocol
A huge number of studies have been done supporting seamless mobility networks and mobile technologies over the years The recent innovations in technology have unveiled another revolution from the static architectural approach to more dynamic and even mobile approaches for client-server networks Due to the special equipments and infrastructure needed to support network mobility management it is difficult to deploy such networks beyond the local network coverage without interruption of communications Therefore MIPv6 as developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force IETF and ancillary technologies were reviewed to provide clear insights on implementing MIPv6 in Client-Server architectures However MIPv6 technology presents weaknesses related to its critical handover latency which appears long for real-time applications such as Video Stream with potential loss of data packets during transmissio
Multi-Task Learning by Multi-Wave Optical Diffractive Network
Recently, there has been tremendous researches in Optical neural networks that could complete comparatively complex computation by optical characteristic with much more fewer dissipation than electrical networks. Existed neural networks based on the optical circuit are structured with an optical grating platform with different diffractive phase at different diffractive points. In this study, it proposed a multi-wave deep diffractive network with approximately 106 synapses, and it is easy to make hardware implementation of neuromorphic networks. In the optical architecture, it can utilize optical diffractive characteristic and different wavelengths to perform different tasks. Different wavelengths and different tasks inputs are independent of each other. Moreover, we can utilize the characteristic of them to inference several tasks, simultaneously. The results of experiments were demonstrated that the network could get a comparable performance to single-wavelength single-task. Compared to the multi-network, single network can save the cost of fabrication with lithography. We train the network on MNIST and MNIST-FASHION which are two different datasets to perform classification of 32*32 inputs with 10 classes. Our method achieves competitive results across both of them. In particular, on the complex task MNIST-FASION, our framework obtains an excellent accuracy improvement with 3.2%. On the meanwhile, MNSIT also have the improvement with 1.15%
A Novel Approach to Genome Editing Using Cellular Automata Evolutions of Adjoints Sequences
This paper proposes a novel method for genome editing using cellular automata evolutions of adjoints of Adenine, Thymine, Guanine, and Cytosine. The adjoints of the given a genome sequence are the characteristic binary string sequences. One-dimensional three neighborhood binary value cellular automata rules can be applied to an adjoint sequence and the desired number of evolutions could be obtained. This rule is defined by a linear Boolean function and one can have 256 such linear Boolean functions. Genome editing is carried out by superimposing the evolved adjoint sequence on the original genome sequence or on its successive evolutions. In this manner, one can have four ways of genome editing using four adjoint sequences and evolutions
