    Optimal Asymmetric Data Encryption Algorithm

Today public-key cryptosystems are particularly vulnerable to fetching cipher text and adaptively matched plaintext attacks To prevent such attacks in practice optimal asymmetric algorithms are used for example RSA-OAEP and etc In this article using the method of encoding messages by points of an elliptic curve an optimal asymmetric algorithm is proposed for data encryption which is based on elliptic curve

A Proposed Method to Identify the Occurrence of Diabetes in Human Body using Machine Learning Technique

Advanced machine-learning techniques are often used for reasoning-based diagnosis and advanced prediction system within the healthcare industry The methods and algorithms are based on the historical clinical data and factbased Medicare evaluation Diabetes is a global problem Each year people are developing diabetes and due to diabetes a lot of people are going for organ amputation According to the World Health Organization WHO there is a sharp rise in number of people developing diabetes In 1980 it was estimated that 180 million people with diabetes worldwide This number has risen from 108 million to 422 million in 2014 WHO also reported that 1 6 million deaths in 2016 due to diabetes Diabetes occurs due to insufficient production of insulin from pancreas Several research show that unhealthy diet smoking less exercise Body Mass Index BMI are the primary cause of diabetes This paper shows the use of machine learning that can identify a patient of being diabetic or non-diabetic based on previous clinical data In this article a method is shown to analyze and compare the relationship between different clinical parameters such as age BMI Diet-chart systolic Blood Pressure etc After evaluating all the factors this research work successfully combined all the related factors in a single mathematical equation which is very effective to analyze the risk percentage and risk evaluation based on given input parameters by the participants or user

Intelligent Vehicular Traffic Control System Using Priority Longest Queue First Model

Traffic congestion of vehicles at road intersections is a growing problem in many developing countries of the world, especially in large urban areas. This stems from a continuous increase in the human population, poor road networks and the proliferation of vehicles for transportation of humans and goods from one location to another towards the performance of civil, social and economic activities. These vehicles often meet at road intersections and desire the Right-of-Way (RoW) towards their destination. This situation always results in race competition, traffic jam and gridlock condition with its attendant effects on time, fuel wastages as well as accident and fire outbreak which often results to loss of lives and property. The conventional traffic light control system which employs a static time cycle for issuance of RoW to each lane at the intersection lacks human-like intelligence and traffic situational awareness

Blockchain on Voting System in Africa

Voting system, in Nigeria has received a major setback over the years where the citizens has stopped believing in its system as free, reliable, tamperproof, without interference and credible. The present system of voting in Nigeria has led to incessant riot, given rise to election rigging, double voting, ballot snatching, rigging by tampering with results, third party interference, increase in death rate and unfavorable atmosphere for business and tourism. The traditional system of voting in Nigeria is paper ballot voting, where citizens come out and line up to do a paper thumb print on the ballot paper of their preferred candidate, this system is not reliable, had been tampered with over the years, leads to double voting, loss of ballot boxes and snatching by third party interference, it is also rigorous as most registered voters end up not exercising their franchise. Nigeria, needs a voting system that is tamperproof, disallows double spending, can keep accurate record of voters, and does not allow third party interference, hence the need for blockchain technology

MyVote - An Effective Online Voting System that can be Trusted

In a country where leaders are elected by the people, election, and the process of electing play a crucial role. Every citizen of a country has the right to vote. There are different ways of casting a vote and electing an individual. With such a large population, the country needs its own effective and secure voting system. The voting system has made drastic changes from traditional paper ballot voting to current electronic voting and now the online voting system. Advancements in the new system eliminate the drawbacks of the previous system. This paper proposes a new online voting system that provides every individual to cast a vote securely and effectively irrespective of the location

Sign Language Recognition for Static and Dynamic Gestures

Humans are called social animals, which makes communication a very important part of humans. Humans use shoes and non-verbal forms of language for communication purposes, but not all humans can give oral speech. Hearing impaired and mute people. Sign language became consequently advanced for them and nevertheless impairs communication. Therefore, this paper proposes a system that uses streams to use CNN networks for the classification of alphabets and numbers. Alphabet and number gestures are static gestures in Indian sign language, and CNN is used because it provides very good results for image classification. Use hand-masked (skin segmented) images for model training. For dynamic hand gestures, the system uses the LSTM network for classification tasks. LSTMs are known for their accurate prediction of time zone distributed data. This paper presents different types of hand gestures, namely two models for static and dynamic prediction, CNN and LSTM

Application of Social Media Devices: Effective Instruments for Library Services Provision to Physically Challenged Academic Library users in Nigeria

Provision of library services is very important to all and sundry particularly physically challenged library users, the study therefore based on the application of social media devices as an effective instrument for library services provision to physically challenged library users in Nigeria, the study examines the concept of physically challenged person to be someone who cannot carry out normal day-to-day activities, or as a result of their appearances which labeled them physically challenged, the study further preempts on social media concept, common types of social media devices used for library services such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, Flickr among others, that they are good instruments to publicized library services to physically challenged library users, highlighted some of the library services to the physically challenged library users to be reading, references, reprographics, online, transcription marketing, SDI, CAS, and many more services

Statistical Literacy among Practicing Clinicians from India: A Brief Survey

Objectives: To understand statistical literacy among practicing clinicians as well as to take suggestions on its implementation in medical curriculum. Methods: A web based online survey was conducted among practising clinicians of India. The questionnaire consisted of 30 questions in three parts. Part A included questions on general information (5 questions), Part B included questions on application of statistical concepts (20 questions), and Part C asked for opinions on integration of biostatistics in medical curriculum (5 questions). Part B questions were rated on a 5-point Likert scale in which 1 indicated no confidence and 5 indicated complete confidence. Results: A total of 416 clinicians responded to the questionnaire. Complete confidence in the use of SPSS software was seen in 15.8% whereas 26.7% had no confidence in it. The highest confidence was seen in statistical equations like graphical representation of data (44.7%), and sensitivity and specificity (45.2%) whereas lowest confidence was seen in COX proportional hazard regression (12.9%) and ROC curves (11.7%). Out of 416 clinicians, 136 (32.4%) had done training in statistics at undergraduate level, 128 (30.5%) did self-learning and 152 (37.1%) had received no formal training

Green Computing using Perl and Python

Green computing or clean computing is necessary for Software Engineering. Perl and Python are important programming languages for green computing. Perl is regular language. Perl is mainly used for server-side programming because it is a regular language. It a portable and green programming language. It can be used as object-oriented (OO) or non objectoriented (Non-O-O) programming language. Python is preprocessor. It is a portable language for software engineering. It has an import feature for Green computing
