Performance Investigation of Wireless LAN with Variable Channel Width
Today, mostly the wireless LAN is based on preset static channel widths. Considering unique benefits of adapting channel width, which is a fundamental yet under-explored facet in wireless communication, We carried out investigations on the performance of suggested scenario, which are based on IEEE 802.11 and composed of different number of nodes with different channel width (10MHz, 20 MHz and 40 MHz) associated to one AP. This research work makes a strong case for wireless systems that adapt channel width in WLAN. Adapting channel width offers rich possibilities for improving system performance. This thesis provides an outlook of the aforementioned issues associated with wireless communication for instance, fairness problem among users associated to same AP and hidden terminal problem. Some issues are investigated and analyzed with Matlab tool. We found that the variable channel width increases the range of communication, providing the users with the required spectrum, which offers a natural way to both improve flow fairness and balance the load across the APs. Also the increase in channel width increases the throughput of suggested scenario compare to the fixed channel width. In our future work, we also provide possible solutions to the new problems in WLAN with variable channel width
Exam Management System at Notre Dame University Bangladesh
Exam Management System (EMS) at Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) is an effective system for man- aging exam and course-related activities for NDUB. EMS auto- mates the conventional system of managing exams. EMS helps NDUB faculties, students, and other academic officers to manage the exam processing very easily and effectively and EMS can maintain mobility of these activities better than conventional manual systems. The main intentions of EMS are to conduct the exam and course-related activities very easily and rapidly. Comprehensively EMS has many interesting features altogether situated in a fair intended web application. EMS is designed using recent technologies like Laravel 7.0, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL. EMSs working speed is very rapid and its database can take a massive user load at a time. EMS can be very useful for the exam and course-related operations of Notre Dame University Bangladesh
Performance of Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics paradigms in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing Platforms
The purpose of the research is to evaluate Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics paradigms for use in Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity refers to a combination of technologies, processes and operations that are framed to protect information systems, computers, devices, programs, data and networks from internal or external threats, harm, damage, attacks or unauthorized access. The main characteristic of Machine Learning (ML) is the automatic data analysis of large data sets and production of models for the general relationships found among data. ML algorithms, as part of Artificial Intelligence, can be clustered into supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms
An Outbreak of Online Learning in the COVID-19 Outbreak in Sub-Saharan Africa: Prospects and Challenges
The COVID-19 outbreak stimulated an outbreak of online learning in many institutions in Sub- Saharan Africa. Educational institutions went beyond fighting the COVID-19 through social distancing norms to tackling Sustainable Development Goal Four (SDG 4) with the adoption of online learning as the new modality for instruction. Online learning has the propensity to ensure learners from all geographical regions have access to education, thereby addressing the inequalities in education. However, the disparities in the access to digital infrastructure had a negative impact on the online instruction in Sub- Saharan Africa. The online learning experience is best described as a challenge-ridden online learning with many teachers suffering from burnout and students lamenting on limited ICT resources, inadequate access to affordable and reliable internet, power outages, and anxiety over academic outcomes. Despite the challenges, the COVID-19 has presented a silver lining to online learning in Sub-Saharan Africa. Aside the attempt to massify online learning, many institutions have come up with novel technological innovations and inventions to bridge the digital divide in the region. The review gives an overview of the challenges, prospects, and practical implications of online learning in Sub-Saharan Africa
Optimized Drug Distribution for Pharmacies of the National Order of Pharmacists in DR Congo using a Multi-Agent Engineering Approach
This paper focuses on a Multi-Agent Oriented Engineering for the problem of registration of pharmacists in the National Order of Pharmacists NOP and the regulation of the sale of pharmaceutical products in a distributed environment The behavior of a pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy is characterized by interactions with the Provincial Council of the Order of Pharmacists PCOP of his jurisdiction where he obtains an authorization to practice pharmacy This authorization is accompanied by the ethical rules to be observed in order to expose medicines on the market The activities of each pharmacist are continuously subject to quality control and pharmaceutical vigilance to protect the health of the population In this paper we focus on the design of a Multi-Agent System MAS in order to help the PCOP to control the pharmaceutical activity on the one hand and the pharmacists to sell their drugs safely on the other han
Feature Matching with Improved SIRB using RANSAC
In this paper we suggest to improve the SIRB SIFT Scale-Invariant Feature Transform and ORB Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF algorithm by incorporating RANSAC to enhance the matching performance We use multi-scale space to extract the features which are impervious to scale rotation and affine variations Then the SIFT algorithm generates feature points and passes the interest points to the ORB algorithm The ORB algorithm generates an ORB descriptor where Hamming distance matches the feature points We propose to use RANSAC Random Sample Consensus to cut down on both the inliers in the form of noise and outliers drastically to cut down on the computational time taken by the algorithm This postprocessing step removes redundant key points and noises This computationally effective and accurate algorithm can also be used in handheld devices where their limited GPU acceleration is not able to compensate for the computationally expensive algorithms like SIFT and SURF Experimental results advocate that the proposed algorithm achieves good matching improves efficiency and makes the feature point matching more accurate with scale in-variance taken into consideratio
Fuzzy Reinforcement Learning using Neural Network: An Application to Medical Diagnosis and Business Intelligence
The information available to the system is incomplete in many applications particularly in Decision Support Systems The fuzzy logic deals incomplete information with belief rather than likelihood probability Sometimes the decision has to be taken with fuzzy information In this paper fuzzy machine learning is studied for decision support systems The fuzzy Decision set is defined with two-fold fuzzy set The fuzzy inference is studied with fuzzy neural network for fuzzy Decision sets Business application is given as applicatio
Sentiment Analysis of Public Expressions in Hindi Language on Media Platform
Nowadays people are actively involved in commenting and reviewing on social networking websites and other website like shopping website news website etc large number of people share everyday a large number of user data is collected their opinion on the web Users also find it trivial to read all the reviews and then arrived at the decision It would be better if there were reviews some are categorized into categories so that the user has ease of reading Sentence analysis is a natural language processing NLP function that measures information from various textual forms such as blogs and news are classified as positive negative or neutral based on their polarity But for the past few years user content in Hindi language is also growing rapidly on the web Therefore mining in Hindi language is also very important A Hindi language sentence system is proposed in this research paper The system classifies reviews as positive negative and Neutral to Hindi language Negativity is also control in this research system Experimental results by experiment the review of films shows the effectiveness of the syste

Adoption of Electronic CRM in Service Sector: Using an Integrated Model
The main objective of this research is to develop an integrated model of significant success factors of the adoption e-CRM system by determining the intention behavior the user in the service sector. The proposed research model was constructed based on the innovation diffusion theory (Rogers 2003), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), and the Task Technology Fit model (TTF). A quantitative study carried out with 340 respondents belonging to Tunisian companies with customer databases A priori judgment sample method was chosen. We used structural equation modeling that is an adequate solution to the design of theoretical models and to test the research hypothesi
