Efficient Handoff for QoS Enhancement in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks (UMTS/WLAN Interworking)
Today s Wireless Communications technologies prove us that wireless communications will in the long run be composed of different communication networks as a way to benefit from each other This can however be achieved from cellular networks and wireless local area networks that show some compatible characteristics that enable them be integrated Scenarios typically behind these integrations is the UMTS and WLAN interworking where UMTS network is known for its wide area of coverage and nearly roaming however known for lack of enough data rate This is contrary with WLAN which is known for high data rate and cheaper compared to UMTS WLAN however has a small area of coverage and lacks roaming This in regard brings the idea that the two different networks being integrated could provide the means for mobile users to be gratified with a supported coverage and quality at anywhere and anytime with seamless access to interne
SARS-CoV-2 is an Robot Bioweapon
Two possibilities should be considered for the origin of SARS-CoV-2 natural evolution or laboratory creation In our earlier paper titled Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification as a Biological Robot Rather than Natural Evolution and Delineation of its Probable Synthetic Route we disproved the possibility of SARSCoV- 2 arising naturally through evolution and instead proved that SARS-CoV-2 must have been a product of laboratory modification Despite this and similar efforts the laboratory creation theory continues to be downplayed or even diminished This is fundamentally because the natural origin theory remains supported by several novel coronaviruses published after the start of the outbreak These viruses the RaTG13 bat coronavirus a series of pangolin coronaviruses and the RmYN02 bat coronavirus reportedly share high sequence homology with SARS-CoV-2 and have altogether constructed a seemingly plausible pathway for the natural evolution of SARSCoV- 2 Here however we use in-depth analyses of the available data and literature to prove that these novel animal coronaviruses do not exist in nature and their sequences have been fabricated In addition we also offer our insights on the hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 may have originated naturally from a coronavirus that infected the Mojiang miner
An Ambigramic Image File Format
We propose an image file format that can be read in two ways, where two images are recorded in a single file as a bit sequence, and the forward reading the bit sequence makes one of the two images visible, or the backward reading makes another image visible. Such a way of looking at a binary data in two ways resembles that of an ambigram, which is a piece of calligraphy that can be read in two ways by rotating it or introducing other perspectives. The proposed ambigramic image file format is compared with the graphics interchange format (GIF) experimentally, and the results show the better quality of the ambigramic images than that of GIF images
Artificial Intelligence in Health Policy A Global Perspective
Introduction: Artificial Intelligence has become the new frontier for digital transformation. For healthcare, AI brings a paradigm shift, powered by increasing healthcare data availability and the rapid progress of analytics techniques globally. Objective: Several hypotheses are set forward to design a policy framework for AI technologies was discussed. This review also suggests a framework that we reflect is a better case involving "responsible AI" and "permission less innovation." Methodology: In this perspective review, AI insights into countries such as the USA, UAE, UK, and the European Union using secondary research. Results: Policy recommendations would impact multiple stakeholders in the value chain. The efficient and responsible use of AI tools would mean culture, data management, technology shifts in the industry, and required up-grading and training professionals for better coordinatio
Texture Classification of 3D MR Color Images using 3D Orthogonal Rank Filters
The term texture refers to patterns arranged in an order in a line or a curve. Textures allow one to make a meaningful interpretation of certain geometric regularity of spatially repeated patterns. In addition, texture also exhibits useful information about spatial distribution of color or gray intensities in an image. Correct interpretation of latent textures of various tissues in a body is an important requirement for a surgeon as a preoperative measure. In this context, extraction of textures in an MR scanned 3D image would assist a medical professional in the preoperative decision making process. This paper proposes a novel technique for extracting directional textures of a 3D MR image in all three axes separately
Online Classroom Platforms: A Comprehensive Study in the Perspective of Bangladesh
Education is the backbone of a nation. So every nation emphasizes it with their highest value as development is mostly dependent on education. In the modern era, online classroom conditions naturalized through specialized video conferencing applications. There may be students and instructors to take the class as a traditional classroom. There is at least one current tutor present, and the lesson is completed in real- time at a fixed time, with the students being present. Here, students and teachers can genuinely engage in class. However, a class does not always need a live teacher to inspect students; they can also proceed to their desired place. Sometimes there may be no teacher at all. This type of online classroom is an unsupervised online classroom. It is distinguished by ready-made lessons that the students can receive without the help of an instructor. Examinations can also be automated in this system. So, in any situation and place, an online class can be taken. At the time of COVID-19, all over the world, people are in crisis and are locked down in their houses. The traditional educational system is facing more trouble to continue its activities. In the traditional system, some teachers used to teach various subjects in front of their students in an educational institution

Detailed Analysis and Identification of Key Factors Resulting in Motor Accidents Across the UK
Motor accidents across the globe amount to a large number of deaths every year. The collisions result in not just the personal injury to people involved but also in the loss of money to the motor insurance companies, trauma to the people involved, and added pressure on the emergency services. With the help of data analytics techniques, this project aims to identify critical factors that might contribute to the accidents. Upon investigating the temporal features and geo-spatial features of the motor accident locations, we tried to establish a correlation between the accident intensity and its key factors. For this exploratory analysis, we also considered weather conditions and daily average traffic flow data. We then trained Supervised learning models on the data to find out the best performing multi-label classification model
Turing-Test Evaluation of a Mobile Haptic Virtual Reality Kissing Machine
Various communication systems have been developed to integrate the haptic channel in digital communication. Future directions of such haptic technologies are moving towards realistic virtual reality applications and human-robot social interaction. With the digitisation of touch, robots equipped with touch sensors and actuators can communicate with humans on a more emotional and intimate level, such as sharing a hug or kiss just like humans do. This paper presents the design guideline, implementation and evaluations of a novel haptic kissing machine for smart phones - the Kissenger machine. The key novelties and contributions of the paper are: (i) A novel haptic kissing device for mobile phones, which uses dynamic perpendicular force stimulation to transmit realistic sensations of kissing in order to enhance intimacy and emotional connection of digital communication; (ii) Extensive evaluations of the Kissenger machine, including a lab experiment that compares mediated kissing with Kissenger to real kissing, a unique haptic Turing test that involves the first academic study of humanmachine kiss, and a field study of the effects of Kissenger on long distance relationships
(1) time Parallel Agorithm for Finding 2D Convex Hull on a Reconfigurable Mesh Computer Architecture
In this paper we propose a parallel algorithm in image processing in (1) time, intended for a parallel machine '' Reconfigurable Mesh Computer (RMC), of size n x n Elementary Processors (PE). The algorithm consists in determining the convex envelope of a two-level 2D image with a complexity in (1) time. The approach used is purely geometric. It is based solely on the projection of the coordinates of PEs retained in specific quadrants and on the application of the algorithm that determines the Min / Max in (1) time. This has reduced the complexity of the algorithm for determining the convex hull at (1) time
