    Religious Leaders’ Interpersonal Communication in Enhancing Teenagers’ Religious Awareness: Case study at Telaga Zam Zam Mosque, Sidikalang

    Teenagers are often influenced by various distractions, generational challenges, and differences in personality, which hinder their religious awareness, including for the teenagers at Masjid Telaga Zam-Zam Sidikalang. This study aims to understand how religious leaders use interpersonal communication to overcome these obstacles and enhance the religious awareness of teenagers. The research focuses on Masjid Telaga Zam-Zam Sidikalang in analyzing the interpersonal communication patterns of religious leaders, the obstacles faced, and the resulting impacts. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews and direct observation. The informants consist of religious leaders and teenagers who are actively involved in religious activities at the mosque. The data obtained were analyzed using triangulation techniques with the data analysis approach of Miles and Huberman (1994), which includes data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The findings of the study show that religious leaders use various interpersonal communication strategies, such as direct dialogue, providing good behavioral examples, group activities, and religious study sessions, to increase the religious awareness of teenagers. Despite the obstacles, such as distractions from social media and generational challenges, the interpersonal communication efforts successfully increased the teenagers' involvement in religious activities, strengthened emotional bonds, and encouraged positive changes in their attitudes and behavior. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of interpersonal communication in shaping teenagers' religious awareness, particularly in the mosque environment. This study contributes to the understanding of how religious leaders can utilize interpersonal communication to overcome challenges in guiding teenagers. Recommendations include the development of more adaptive and personal communication strategies to address the challenges faced by teenagers and to enhance their involvement in religious activities

    Transcendental Communication Strategies in Ruqyah Therapy: Unveiling the Power of Dialogue between Healers and Spiritual Entities

    Man can't get rid of his need to communicate in everyday life, whether it's interpersonal, interpersonal, group or mass communication and so is transcendental communication. This study aims to explain how the practitioner performs the rituals in order to be able to communicate with the jin during the ritualization process and describe how the impact occurs after the occurrence of tarnsendental communication between the jin and the jin. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. This study found that the strategy implemented by the practitioner in order to be able to communicate with the jin exists in three stages, namely, first, the formulation of the communication strategy. Second, the implementation relates to the outcome of the diagnosis. Third, the evaluation relating to the validity of the dialogue with the Jin. Further findings, the effect of transcendental communication covers three aspects that occur to the jin and the jin: the aspect of change of knowledge, the aspects of changes of attitude and the aspect of change in behavior.     Realization of the Implementation of Post-Divorce Child Support Obligations at the Purworejo Religious Court

    This research aims to find out how the implementation of child support obligations after divorce in the Purworejo Religious Court. And will also identify what factors influence it. The method used in this research uses a normative juridical approach. While this type of research is field research, which is taken from documents from the Purworejo Religious Court, direct observation and interviews with parties who have sued in court. The results showed that there are still many parents, especially fathers, who do not carry out their obligations in providing maintenance to their children. There are several influencing factors, including lack of legal awareness, lack of awareness of the obligations of a father, parents are too involved in the household, social factors and economic factors. Whereas the obligation to provide for children has been stated in the decision of the judge of the Purworejo Religious Court

    Hadis tentang perumpamaan mu’min sebagai cermin menyimpan nilai kesadaran sosial, yaitu kesadaran menyeru kepada kebaikan dan melarang kepada keburukan. Maka dari itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hadis tentang perumpaan mu’min sebagai cermin menggunakan teori kesadaran milik Paulo Friere. Metode yang akan digunakan ialah metode kualitatif yang berbasis library research. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analistik deskriptif yaitu menganalisis data-data yang telah dikumpulkan, kemudian mendeskripsikan hasil secara komprehensif. Adapun pertanyaan yang akan dijawab dalam penelitian ini ialah 1) bagaimana kualitas sanad dan matan hadis perumpamaan mu’min sebagai cermin?, 2) bagaimana pemahaman hadis perumpaan mu’min sebagai cermin menggunakan teori kesadaran kritis Paulo Friere?. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah, hadis tentang perumpamaan mu’min sebagai cermin berkualitas hasan. Hadis perumpamaan mu’min sebagai cermin mengandung makna seorang mu’min menjadi pantulan cermin, yang kemudian akan tersadarkan kebaikan maupun keburukan mu’min yang lain, sehingga seorang mu’min tersebut bisa saja melakukan amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar tanpa ia tahu apa landasannya (Magis), ataupun seorang mu’min tidak melakukan amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar meskipun sadar tentang landasannya (Naif), dan seorang mu’min melakukan amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar dengan sadar akan landasannya (Kritis)

    Beragam jenis tumbuhan dapat ditemui di Indonesia. Tumbuhan tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menunjang kehidupan. Salah satu tumbuhan kaya manfaat yang mudah ditemui adalah kelor. Kelor merupakan tumbuhan yang secara alamiah terbukti mengandung gizi berkhasiat obat. Pemanfaatan daun kelor saat ini sudah banyak termodifikasi, pengolahannya yang beragam ini bisa dikonsumsi, dan juga dapat dipasarkan. Tujuan pengolahan daun kelor (Moringa Sp.) sebagai minuman kesehatan ini adalah untuk meningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dengan adanya pengolahan daun kelor tersebut, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai tatacara pengolahannya, dengan hal itu diharapkan dapat meningkatkan taraf perekonomian masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey yang mengacu pada konsep ABCD yakni pengolahan kelor menjadi teh herbal atau minuman kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan daun kelor menjadi minuman kesehatan ini merupakan suatu upaya untuk dapat membantu meningkatkan kapasitas dan pengetahuan masyarakat Desa Nanga akan pengolahan daun kelor sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya.Kata Kunci: Daun Kelor, Minuman Kesehata

    This article written to review and analyse about funding managemen in the Islamic Middle School (Madrasa) level. This research was conducted in a non-profit Islamic Secondary School, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Wates (MTs Muh Wates) by qualitative approach and descriptively explained. Data acquisition was carried out by interviews, observations, and documentation. At the research site, educational funds are obtained from at least two sources, there are School Operational Assistance / Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) obtained from National Revenue and Expenditure Budget / Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) funds and committee donations from student’s parents. All these funds are accumulated and allocated on costs needed for the necessary expenses to facilitate teaching and learning activities in the school.     The Physical Geographies Dimensions in Teaching Practice: A Case Study of Five EFL Pre-service Teachers

    This qualitative case study included five EFL pre-service teachers who had completed 45 days of FTP at one of senior high schools in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. This study aimed to investigate the physical geographies of pre-service teachers while they conducted their teaching practice. Reflective journals and interviews are data collection instruments constructed based on Hargreaves' emotional geographies theory to comprehend the emotions that arise after completing their field teaching experience in 45 days. This study discovered that the participants had both positive and negative feelings during their field teaching practicum (FTP) in physical geography aspects. As part of their physical geography dimensions, all participants maintained tremendous relationships with their students, colleagues, and mentor teachers at placement schools. As a result, their emotional geographies could involve the teacher's professional and cognitive abilities, which impact their field teaching practice

    Navigating Educational Frontiers: Students' Perspectives on Interdisciplinary Teacher Collaboration in ESP Classroom

    The purpose of this study was to investigate students' perceptions of interdisciplinary teacher collaboration (ITC) in ESP classes and to explore the challenges and problems students face during the implementation of ITC. The study involved 38 students from three non-English majors (Department of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries, and Department of Politics and Science). Quantitative and qualitative methods were employed, with the quantitative method used to investigate students' perception of ITC through team teaching and teachers' teaching methods in the ESP classroom. The qualitative method was used to explore the challenges and problems students faced during the implementation of ITC in the ESP context. Data was collected through a questionnaire on Google Forms and individual interviews with 12 students. The results showed that students had a positive reaction to the implementation of ITC, particularly in the areas of team teaching and teachers' teaching methods. However, challenges related to pronunciation, listening, misinterpretation, confidence, writing, grammar, and speaking were identified during the implementation of ITC

    Methodological Challenges in Living Qur’an Studies from Academic Publication in Indonesian Islamic University

    The growing interest in Living Qur'an Studies (LQS) among scholars in Indonesia highlights its potential as a dynamic approach in Qur'anic studies. LQS emphasizes the interaction between Qur'anic teachings and lived experiences, integrating sociology, anthropology, philosophy, history, literature, and interpretation studies. Despite its promise, applying LQS consistently in academic research remains challenging. This study evaluates the quality and implementation of LQS in publications from Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN) in the Sulawesi region. Through constructivist analysis, which explores how knowledge is actively shaped within academic discourse, this research assesses trends, methodologies, and challenges affecting the sustainability of LQS research. The findings highlight three key outcomes: (1) a growing trend of LQS adoption across four PTKIN institutions, (2) inconsistencies in methodological application, and (3) structural and conceptual challenges hindering the continuity of LQS. This study offers practical recommendations to improve the quality of LQS research, encouraging better methodological alignment and broader impact. By addressing these challenges, the research aims to advance LQS as a relevant field that bridges Qur'anic studies with contemporary societal contexts

    Filling Members of the Financial Audit Board: Constitutional Review and Legislative Intervention

    This article aims to at least outline and analyze the main problem, namely related to the development of an independent system for filling the positions of BPK members according to the theory of independence of state institutions reviewed through constitutional interpretation in the Law. This research is qualitative research with normative juridical methods. Research was carried out using a legal approach, a conceptual approach and a philosophical approach to the issues raised. In this paper, the author applies techniques for collecting legal materials or data, through documentation or literature studies which are carried out by reading, reviewing, classifying, identifying and understanding legal materials in the form of regulations and books and literature. which is related to the research object discussed in this paper. The analysis of legal materials used applies qualitative, descriptive and prescriptive methods that are oriented towards answering problem formulations. Apart from that, analysis of legal materials also focuses on the inventory aspect of legal materials in the form of soft files and hard files. Manual inventory is carried out on hardfile legal materials, while digital inventory is carried out on legal materials in softfile form. After the inventory, an analysis process is carried out with reference to the legal issues and discussion formulations raised. The finding in this paper is that there is polarization in filling the positions of BPK members which is far from the principle of independence and also prioritizes the supervisory aspect in filling these positions so that the principle of checks and balances is not implemented within the BPK itself. The polarization of filling the positions of BPK members which seems political has resulted in hidden interests which could actually disrupt the independence of the BPK as a state audit institution. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen the BPK institution as a state institution that is in a new space of power known as the inspection space by making changes and additions to concrete and internal regulations in the aspect of filling out BPK members in terms of the theory of state institutional independenc
