Get PDFArtikel ini adalah untuk membahas status perempuan dalam teks-teks agama Islam, terutama ayat-ayat Quran dan Hadis teks yang dianggap "misoginis." Ada kebutuhan mendesak untuk membaca kembali teks-teks agama Islam karena mereka digunakan oleh ulama klasik untuk menghasilkan fikih mereka. Fikih klasik tadi, bersama-sama dengan teks, diadopsi oleh umat Islam kontemporer di luar konteks dan, kadang-kadang, telah digunakan untuk mengabadikan ketidaksetaraan gender dalam kehidupan sosial. Contoh kasusnya antara lain adalah kritik, dan bahkan penolakan, terhadap reformasi hukum keluarga yang diusulkan oleh negara. Artikel ini berpendapat bahwa nilai-nilai universal yang terkandung dalam teks-teks agama Islam yang mempromosikan keadilan dan, dengan demikian, menghormati hak-hak perempuan serta bertujuan untuk mencapai kesetaraan di antara diferensiasi gender dalam kehidupan sosial perlu disosialisasikan. Pemahaman sensitif gender ini terhadap teks-teks agama Islam disosialisasikan untuk lebih meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap hak-hak womens dan isu-isu kesetaraan gender dalam Islam

Get PDF This article is reviewing about methodology of interpretationtoward a local commentary work in Bugis language, that is Commentary of Bugis (tpEeser akor mbs augi) the work of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) of South Sulawesi. The existence of the local commentary in the community of Bugis is fill the emptiness toward the literature in the local language of Bugis so that Al-Qur’an can be understood by the ordinary people that less understand about Latin (Melayu) also the commentary of Arabic. This commentary includes the commentary of Al-Qur’an Bugis that consists of 30 juz. The methodology of Bugis commentaryis not much different from the earlier commentaries that is form the analysis side using the form of tahlily where that is figured textual and color (lawn). quality of education. The instruments used in this study were a mathematics test and classroom observation. The criteria of success were (1) the students’ average score, 70, and (2)
the students participation, 75%. The result of the study shows that in cycle 1, the criteria of success did not achieve yet. In cycle 2, it shows that the criteria of success has been fulfilled. It
shows that 75% of the students were active in the teaching and learning process and the students’ average score can be improve from 58.50 in cycle 1 became 73.00 in cycle 2

Get PDFThe Arabic Language, as the language of Islam religion, and also the language of the Holy Quran, obtaining a privileged position in the heart of Indonesians, especially Muslims. Due to its privileged position, the Arabic language was able to survive from its extinction since its appearance in Indonesia until now. Unfortunately, the privileged position of Arabic language is not directly proportional to its fate in various educational institutions in Indonesia, especially in East Kalimantan. The Arabic language teaching in those institutions faces very complex problems especially the lack of an integrated curriculum that can be relied upon to fulfill the needs of teaching Arabic language to non- Arabs with a better method. The current curriculum is the curriculum that does not have comprehensive programs and is not accompanied with modern teaching methods. While at the Teaching and Learning Activities stage, teaching the Arabic language is not supported by professional and competent teachers. In this month, man should do a lot of self introspection, because this month is the closing month of Islamic calendar. Prophet Muhammad did a lot of fasting in the month of Sya`ban because he loved when his pious acts were accounted for in the fasting state. There are different opinions, however, when it comes to the status of the 15th night of Sya`ban: is it a special evening with a special virtue too or it is no more than the rest of Sya`ban nights? Using Picture Series to Inspire Reading Comprehension for the Second Semester Students of English Department of IAIN Tulungagung
Get PDFThe problem highlighted in this research is the low reading comprehension of the second semester students of English Department in State College of Islamic Studies Tulungagung that is caused by (a) the uninteresting activities in reading class; (b) the students' difficulties in understanding and retelling the ideas of the text; (c) the students' low motivation in reading habit. The theoretical review includes the nature of reading, picture series, inspiring reading, and the nature of motivation. The procedure of the research consists of identifying the problem, planning the action, implementing the action, observing the action, and reflecting the result of the research. In this research, the researcher acts as the lecturer who conducts the action research in the classroom and she is helped by her collegues. In collecting the data, the researcher uses observational technique supported with tests. In analysing the data, it was used t-test non independent, the researcher uses the observation, questionaire, interview, students ‘work supported with the video recording and photograph,then also compares the result of the students' pre-test and post-test to answer the research questions. There is significant improvement in the result of pre-test and post-test of cycle 1 and 2. In cycle 1, t0 (6.89766) is higher than tt (1.73) and in cycle 2, t0 (10.8622) is also higher than tt (1.73). From these two results, therefore, h0 is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (ha) is accepted. By retelling the ideas and summarizing the text using interesting media especially picture series can increase the students' motivation in reading class especially to improve their reading comprehension

Get PDFIn PP No 32 tahun 2013, it was found that four of eight national educational standards has significantly changed. The four standards are: 1) the graduation compentency standard has been revised and renewed in Permendikbud No 54 Tahun 2013; 2) the content standard is renewed in Permendikbud No 64 Tahun 2013; 3) the process standard is renewed in Permendikbud No 65 Tahun 2013; and 4) evaluation standard is renewed in Permendikbud No 66 Tahun 2013. One of the four standards that is very interesting to discsuss is the process standard which is focusing on how the ideal model of a teacher plans, implements, and evaluates teaching and learning process. This process standard is one of the curriculum anatomies which covers a model, approach, strategy, method, and technique of teaching implemented by a teacher in administering the content of learning to achieve the goals of teaching has been made. This paper tries to explore the characteristics of ideal teaching targeted by the national curriculum 2013 which is focusing on the principles of learning, characteristics, planning, and the implementation of curriculum 2013

Get PDFAl-Qur’an, as a guidance of life is not doubtful at all, truly able to give a right direction for all human problems in this world, including how to educate the children. One of the directions and guidances about how to educate the children given by Al-Qur’an is Surat Luqman (31) verse 12-19. Based on the findings of this study, the researcher concludes that the content of ahlaq education for children stated in Surat Luqman (31) verse 12-19 are: (1) thankful to Allah, to parents, and to be a strong moslem; (2) devoting to the parents; (3) ordering to do the right things and avoiding the bad things; (4) be patient; and (5) do not arrogant. Those ahlaq content are still relevant to this contemporary children education
