Gerakan Salafiyah: Islam, Politik dan Rigiditas Interpretasi Hukum Islam
Salafiyah lately has become the scourge of modern states because the banality of their interpretation of Islamic law is considered rigid and not in line with the global world that is increasingly plural. This article attempts to discuss the various variants of salafism and the purpose behind its militant movement. The fundamental question in this article is about the purpose behind a non-compromising understanding of other understandings that are different from the Salafiyah. This article first describes some variant of Salafism, namely: al-Salafiyah al-Tārīkhiyah, al-Salafiyah al-Wahābiyah, al-Salafiyah al-Ishlāhiyah, al-Salafiyah al-Ta’sīliyah dan al-Salafiyah al-Jihādīyah al-Takfīriyah, and then analyze what the similarity of theological traits of these variant. This study confirms that Salafism is a doctrinal social movement that has political efforts to establish Islam by rejecting the differences that exist. The results of this study indicate that the Salafi initially is group that calls on Muslims to return to the original sources of the Qur'an and the Hadith leads to the resurrection of a new Islamic civilization against the Western world power hegemony (especially the United States), it becomes a group which is face to face with the Muslims themselves. In addition, a rigid interpretation of Islamic law has meaning to build political strength to slowly unify differences that do not correspond with the values of salafiyah. STRATEGI DAKWAH MASA KINI (Beberapa Langkah Strategis Pemecahan Problematika Dakwah)
Islam is a religion that perceives every Muslim (person who adhere Islam) a da’i (proselityzer) for both himself/herself and other people. Hence, every Muslim, by definition, is activist of dakwah (Islamic proselityzing). Thus, it is necessary that every Muslim understands the issue of dakwah comprehensively. Since challenges on the path of dakwah are getting more and more complex, activists of dakwah need to understand strategic steps to consider before doing dakwah. They are: Enhancing the educational quality of the Da’i(s), sending da’i(s) to trainings of dakwah in order to enrich their knowledge, utilizing technology of information as media of dakwah, and intesifying dakwah based of cultural and structural approaches. Nilai-nilai Pendidikan pada Ayat-ayat Amtsal dalam Al-Quran Surah Al-baqarah
The background of this research is because of the curiosity about the moral value of amtsal verse that sometimes Allah gives a parable to the certain class, and with that parable it can attract the reader attention, and it even can arouse the heart of the reader to make them to think back. And make an equalof their self and the class that Allah parable in that verse. Moreover about the researcher’s conviction about the act of Qur’an in education, start from lesson of the education values that really noble and exalted, until the very latest technology invention of scientists from medieval until modern. That’s all not in spite of the muslim’s holy book contents, its Al-Qur’an Al-Karim. And the object of this research are very Qur’an verse in al-Baqarah. The second division is madinah and it’s the longest division in Qur’an, and the number is 286 verse. And its also called as Qur’an fustat, because it’s also have some laws that didn’t metion in other devision. The devision that also contains lats of superiority for people that apply it. That’s for not too big and to much criticism to that verse definition. The research had classification to deternine the verse with criteria that exist in tasybih tradition for the explanation in tekstual if that verse is amtsal verse. And that verse is al-Baqarah, 17-19, verse 146, verse 171, and verse 265. After analyze that verse by the comentator’s explanations. There are some education’s value that we can learn from the amtsal verse in this research. That value must be glutinous in muslim’s self to make them can reach the predicate as an Allah’s slave in Allah’s side. That values are faith, obidiens value, moral valuegod’sguidencs value, religious proselytizing motivasi value, unity of god value, sincere value, thanks value, benefit value, conviction value, work’s etous value, expliat value, and tolerant value
Mutu Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Kutai Timur
This research is motivated by the quality of education in East Kutai District. It was not equally between infrastructure and suprastructure school developments in the rural and the urban areas. It also can be effect to the quality of educations in East Kutai District, especially in rural areas. The aims of this research are describes the quality condition of elementary schools in East Kutai District, discribes supporting factors and obstacle factors, and the efforts of goverment (ministry of education) to improve the quality education of elementary schools in East Kutai District.This is descriptive qualitative research. It was located in education goverment office (ministry of education).The result of this research was indicated that the quality education of elementary school in East Kutai Distric is excellent. It shows from the increase accreditation result every year. At 2016 all of elementary schools in East Kutai District was accredited. It was good progress. Eight national education standarts have been achieved. The supporting factors to increase the quality education of elementary school in East Kutai District, such us: qualified human resources, a lot of budget funds, between elementary schools and ministry of education has been mutual support, good infrastructure development, and good geographic location. Even while obstacle factors such us: small budget funds, the school locations are so far from the town, education policies always change every a new minister education, and different understanding about education mindset. The efforts from education department goverment (ministry of education) to improve the quality education of elementary school in East Kutai District are: complete the database, reorganized institution, change mindset the teachers from teachers become educators, make a program training and coaching, adjusting teacher qualifications, make a program one sub district one favorite school, make a curriculum development, strengthening of character education, make a programe one student one book of curriculum 2013, make a mapping and dissemination for all teachers, rolling teachers and head master, make a program rehabilitation of all facilities and infrastructure, do controling from UPT
Analisa Pengaruh Kualitas Aset, Likuiditas, Efensiensi Usaha Dan Profitabilitas Terhadap Rasio Kecukupan Modal Pada Umum Syariah Periode 2012-2015
The aim of this study is to examine the influence of effect of Asset Quality (NPF), Liquidity Level (FDR), Operating Efficiency (BOPO) and Return On Asset (ROA) on the Capital Adequacy Level by Capital Adequacy (CAR) on the general Islamic Bank listed on the Indonesian Bank in period 2012-2015. There are 11 samples in this research that is sharia BCA Bank, Muamalat Bank, Bukopin Bank, BRI Bank, Mega Bank, BNI Bank, BJB Bank, Mandiri Bank, Victoria Bank, Panin Bank and Maybank Bank. Hypotheses test used is panel data regression by carry out F Test and T test with value significant 5%. The result of F test, shows that simultaneously the NPF, FDR, BOPO and ROA have a influence on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). The result of t-test,shows that ROA, FDR and BOPO are have negative influence on Capital Adequacy (CAR) and NPF have no effect towards Capital Adequacy (CAR) at Sharia Bank period 2010-2015
Research Trends of EFL Students in English Education Program: A 2005-2015 Survey
One of the purposes of English Education Program of State Islamic Institute of Tulungagung, Indonesia, is to lead the graduates to do research on linguistics and language teaching and to write a thesis accordingly. However, the preliminary study shows that there is some repeatedly done research of the same topics, because the students commonly spend their time copying and pasting or modifying their seniors’ previous studies during writing the research proposals. If the advisors are not punctual in advising their advisees, it is possible to do some unintentional plagiarism which furthers block the contribution toward the body of knowledge in English language and education. Therefore, this article is intended to describe research trends of EFL students in English education. This descriptive study done through a questionnaire survey to 450 out of 849 students’ theses reveals that during the last eleven year, TEFL is the most popular research topic, because it is their mainstream topic. Still, they include other topics than TEFL which are mostly researched by using Descriptive (Qualitative). However, the students’ theses also indicate the development of implementing various research methods i.e. Quantitative, Classroom Action Research, and Research & Development. Moreover, although it is revealed that the research has already indicated the appropriateness of research objective with its title and research background, the EFL students’ theses need some improvement on writing research gap, reviewing related literature and previous studies, and on drawing conclusion and stating suggestion and research contribution as well. This study is then useful as the basis to make a research road map and important to avoid plagiarism and set a thorough research contribution to the body of knowledge on TEFL in Indonesia.
Lexical Features of Teacher Talk in English Classrooms in Senior High Schools
AbstractEnglish as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Indonesia has been taught since elementary schools. As the only setting for EFL learners to learn English formally, the students of Senior High Schools are in the 7th to 9th year in acquiring English as a foreign language. As non-native English teachers who has been teaching English for years, English teachers in Indonesia are supposed to be the source of language input for learners. This article explores lexical features of teacher talk as an input in EFL classrooms in 8th year of senior high schools of English language classrooms. Type token ratio and parts of speech as some particular modified input of teacher talk are used to see lexical density in English classrooms. This study was conducted by descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data of the present study were taken from classroom observations equipped with audio recordings. The result revealed the variants of type token ratio among the teachers and lexical variety that teachers’ oral input. The variety of lexical features of teacher talk from will be discussed to examine type token ration, lexical density and proportion of the use of nouns and verbs.(176 words
Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Model Keberagamaan Inklusif untuk Mencegah Radikalisme Beragama Dikalangan Siswa SMA
The phenomenon of religious radicalism has become a global threat of the 21st century that phenomenon was a result of Islam as anaccused religion and was often associated with a terrorist religion. Educational institutions often "suspected" in creating of terrorists’ generations because the content material of Islamic Religious Education Study was dogmatic, indoctrinated, and related to proselytizing spirit that confirms truth claims. Anyway, substance of instructional materials used in senior high school does not contain inclusive religious content so it can create an exclusive and intolerant religious behavior among senior high school students. The aim of this study; 1).Providing foothold among students of theological and sociological thinking and behavior in order to have an inclusive and tolerant religiosity 2).Deploying and seeding ideas and behavior of an inclusive and tolerant religiosity as a form of resistance ideology (de-radicalization). 3). Filling the void literature Islamic Religious Education Study particular model of inclusive diversity relevant to mainstream Islam in Indonesia. To counteract the religious radicalism among students, the teaching material of Islamic Religious Education Study must contain religious inclusive content incorporating the teachings of Islam as a religion Rahmatan Lil Alamin, a religion of tolerance which is supported by the argument of the Quran and hadith. By using this model of teaching materials is expected of senior high school students have an inclusive religious behavior that is relevant to the character and Indonesian Islam mainstream in order to prevent radicalism behavior among senior high school students
Manajemen Pembiayaan Pendidikan Bersumber dari Masyarakat
This study aims to describe the budget plan of income and expenditure of schools, the allocation of educational financing, the supervision of education financing, and the reporting of education financing originating from parents in MTs Darul Ulum Palangkaraya. This research uses qualitative descriptive research method, conducted in MTs Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. Data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study reveal that the Madrasah Budget Plan in MTs Darul Ulum Palangkaraya has been made through prior planning by the madrasah before meeting with foundations, school committees and parents, although the draft budget is made in the form of The simplest. In the case of the use of parents' funds, the learners are in accordance with the needs and RAPBM made, in the sense that the accounting has been made accounting. Undemocratic Response Towards "Deviant" Judgement and Fatwa: Sunni-Shiite Conflict in Sampang, Madura, East Java
AbstractThe study discusses how civic groups have judged other as "deviant" in the case of Sunni-Shiite conflict in Sampang, Madura, and how the state has responded to it. The term “deviant” has been an important subject to study in Indonesia because it helps us to understand how certain communities other the others who are different in terms of religious understandings. This article argues that the state has undemocratically responded towards several groups’ judgment on Shiite in Sampang of being deviant; while Shiite community in Sampang are Indonesian citizen who are subject to the state protection. This situation is further exacerbated by the MUI recommendation to the state to stop Shiite community from practicing their rituals, as it clearly violates religious freedom and democracy. This study uses secondary data in the forms of the MUI fatwa, Tajul Muluk case documentation in Catatan Keberagamaan by Center for Religious and Cross-cultural Studies, and the conflict escalation narration by previous scholars. As a study focused on the dynamic of the conflict, this paper helps scholars, activists, and government critically comprehend the relation between the state and civic groups before and during conflict escalation.
