It has to be quickly responded by Islamic college students as the effort to cope with various problems as a result of the development. History has proven that Islamic college students have played a significant role in the life our state. They have played their role from time to time in four eras; (1) Values breaker, (2) Physical revolution, (4) Politics inside the campus, (5) Role enhancement of college students in the national development. However, Islamic college students still have to deal with various challenges in the global era related to their status as the intellectual moslem. Those challenges are classified into two perspectives. The first one is internal such as less understanding of moslem society about Islamic principles, less qualification of education, fanaticism of Islamic schools, and friction of among the Islamic community. In the historical spectrum of thought development, Moslems have shown the significant progress in the era of Ummayah and it came to the highest level in the era of Abbasiyah. In that historical context, it can be seen from many experts of Moslem in various field of knowledge such as Al-Kindi (801-837), Al-Farabi (W.950), and Ibn Maskawaih (W.1030) who concern in the field of philosophy; Ibn Sina (980-1037) and Ibn Bajah (1160-1138) who are experts in medicine, Jabir Ibn Hayyan (720-815) and Al-Khawarizmi (780-850) who are experts in chemistry and mathematic, and also Al-Thabari (839-922), an expert in history and law. From the research results can be concluded that the educational values embodied in the story of Yusuf and its relevance in the present life of them: first, an attitude of openness and communication is established between the child and the father is between Yusuf and Ya'qub, secondly, the wisdom of the head of the family; the third, King fair / Upholding justice, this can be seen in paragraph 43 letter to Joseph, who hinted that the head of state or the king of Egypt at that time to be fair and not arbitrary; Fourth, demand for office / professional. This can be reflected in the letter of Yusuf verse 55 "Yusuf says : Let me state treasurer (Egypt) because actually I was the smart guard, more knowledgeable. Get PDFIbnu Hazm is a distinguished Moslem leader who really holds fast to the nash. That is why, he critics hard the other Moslem leaders who take the rationality role in establishing a regulation. In his point of view, Islamic law comes from Allah SWT which is clearly written in Al Qur’an and Sunnah, and implemented consensusily by all Moslems. Ijma’ basically should based on the the nash of Quran because there no ijma’ without following the nash. So that, Ibnu Hazm states that there are three sources of the law as main base of implementing the law. Ibnu Hazm refuses the qiyas as source of the law. In term of his refuse of the qiyas, Ibun Hazm promotes a new perspective in responding the comtemporer problems that they are not found in the nash explicitely. The thought was known as ad dalil.Then, the concept of ad dalil is considered as one of the sources of in the Islamic law that there is no different to the qiyas used by other Moslem leaders previously
