Identification of Residues Required for Trm732 tRNA Modification Activity in Yeast

Yeast Trm7 is an enzyme that interacts with Trm732 and Trm734 to modify tRNAs at residues C32 and G34, respectively. Yeast mutants lacking both Trm732 and Trm734 are sick, indicating that these proteins are required for proper cell growth. By measuring tRNA nucleoside modification levels with UPLC Trm732 can be quantitively analyzed. Qualitatively Trm732 can be analyzed through growth assays. Parameter Study of Tracking Algorithm for ISS-CREAM Instrument

The calorimeter is one of four detector subsystems and consists of 20 layers of sensitive fibers. In order to determine the track which a cosmic ray takes through the instrument, we fit a line through the particle locations on each layer of the calorimeter. In order to improve the accuracy of this track, we remove ribbons and layers from this fit using three parameters. Research shows that a high percent of offenders are males of color with socioeconomic hardship who lack the access and resources for successful re-entry. Student Parents at NKU: The Need for More Resources

These students balance multiple roles, and additional student support may positively impact experiences and outcomes. This study involved online surveys of 100 NKU students to learn about how they perceive the campus environment and student retention as related to student parents. Sexual Assault: Barriers to Reporting

This study seeks to examine the barriers that prevent sexual assault victims from going to the authorities. Additionally, it examines NKU students’ awareness of sexual assault resources on campus. A self-administered, IRB-approved survey is expected to show that many students are not aware of NKU resources related to sexual assault. Furthermore, the findings will show that guilt, stigma, and a lack of awareness of resources are the main barriers to reporting.
