Mental Illness Among College Students

Universities have responded to this social problem by expanding student resources, including counseling and disability services. This study seeks to examine if accessing disability services has a positive effect on the academic performance of students who have a diagnosed mental illness. The results of the study, which used an electronic survey, are expected to show that students who have a mental illness and utilize disability services perform at higher academic levels. Insomnia and stress

No one has ever looked into the correlation between the two. The purpose of this study and use of this one-time online self-administered survey to find out, if there is a correlation. I believe that I can find a direct correlation to those who are stressed also have insomnia symptoms. A brief survey will be used to collect data from survivors on college campuses. This research will provide understanding on what resources and support is being provided across campuses. There is no one-size-fits-all set of best practices for building a learning community, whether on-ground or online. Right now, we should begin our efforts toward building community by designing for the students who need that community most, the ones most likely to have been feeling isolated even before the pandemic: disabled students, chronically ill students, BIPOC students, queer students, and students facing housing and food-insecurity. Impostor Phenomenon in the Football World
No full text2021 Celebration of Student Research and Creativity presentation"Impostor Phenomenon or “IP” is when an individual has self-doubt and a fear of being considered fraudulent, although they have success in their field. Typically, IP research has looked at the effects of leaders in the workplace and their psychological tendencies.
The purpose of this paper is to look at the effects of IP within coaches, specifically football. The goal is to create a conceptual foundation for how IP directly relates to coaches who operate in the cut throat business of sports and to bring further knowledge of IP and create a talking point of how IP affects the sports world. Furthermore, building possible solutions to the phenomenon that haunts many leaders in today's businesses. Using a scoping literature review methodology, this paper takes a deep look at self- efficacy in the coaching world to further understand IP and how it manifests.
Also, the way other external factors like results and performance affect IP within coaches. The results of this study provide examples of how IP plays a role in the coaching experience, and the internal struggles IP creates. Suggestions for successfully mitigating IP in the coaching world are provided. Suggestions and solutions to how IP plays a role in coaches are provided.
