Pledge Felt
"Within a designated timeframe, XBE pledges had to find all active XBEs and get their "signatures" on the felt. Also had to get active Bengal Lancers (brother fraternity) to sign. I supposed its significance was to help pledges recognize actives and take initiative to introduce themselves.
Letter from Dr. Wimpress
" Dr. Wimpress sent his congratulations for the Trinitonian for 1st place recognition by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. I was editor of the Trinitonian that year. It was significant to be measured so favorably against other university newspapers. I was genuinely surprised, because student journalists didn't always present a favorable view of the administration.
