    "It's interesting to see what the freshman experience was like then as compared to now. The Tiger's Den, where we could watch television, closed at 11 p.m. And apparently there was a computer quiz game next to the foosball table. And, students could "check out" Frisbees from the student union.

    Messages to My World: As a program creator for Learning About Learning, Julia Jarrell would pull together topics, images, participant responses from workshops and events. Jarrell would often work with Susan Marcus to recreate these ideas as a visual experience in a publication. As part of a larger project on family and community, Jarrell made a list of starters that she wished she had handy to communicate with her family and colleagues. Marcus turned them into cards as activities in neighborhood workshops and later refined the cards as a package for Neiman Marcus
