In 1976 Campbell donated his collection of materials related to manned space exploration to the Chapman Graduate Library, where the collection was known as the Paul A. Campbell International Library of Man and Space. Campbell was also a frequent lecturer on campus, taught an interdisciplinary course on space studies, and funded a scholarship for students
