Cluster Analysis of Earthquake\u27s Data Clustering in Indonesia using Fuzzy K-means Clustering
The earthquake is shocks or vibrations in the earth\u27s surface because of shifting layers of rock at the base of the earth\u27s surface. This natural phenomenon is common in Indonesia because it lies between Australian, Eurasian, Pacific plates, and it location surrounded by a ring of fire precisely. Therefore, this study aims to cluster earthquake events in Indonesia and describe the characteristics of each group based on clustering results. The method used is the Fuzzy K-Means Clustering. The clustering results obtained from clustering based on the depth, longitude, and latitude. In this study, the data used is the earthquake\u27s data, which has a magnitude greater than or equal to 5 SR and only clumped by depth. Based on the Davies-Bouldin and Dunn index, the best clustering is 2 clusters which researchers cluster earthquake data in Indonesia into deep and shallow clusters
The Study of Symmetry Energy in Pasta of Neutron Star From Compressible Liquid Drop Model Approximation
The properties of pasta which is located at the bottom of inner crust from neutron star has been studied by using compressible liquid drop model. Compressible liquid drop model is a modified liquid drop model as a density function. Liquid drop model based on assumption that the magnitude of nucleus bonding energy is contribution of surface, Coulomb, volume, symmetry, and proton-neutron pair effect. Pasta of neutron star behaves like liquid crystals (mesomhorpic phase). The top layer of pasta filled by free neutron gas, while in the lowest layer of the pasta is filled by proton-neutron gas. The properties of pasta are observed at temperatures close to zero Kelvin with the assumption that neutron star is on ground state and non accretion. The study of pasta emphasizes on symmetry energy’s influence. Symmetry energy reduces the magnitude of bonding energy of nucleon in the nucleus and it causes nucleon to be more easily released from nucleus. After that, symmetry energy influence the properties of pasta, such as the shape of nucleus that is non spherical (some like plates, rods, and bubbles), the fluctuative values of Wigner-Seitz cell, and uneven distribution of protons and neutrons in the pasta region of neutron star

Tamarindus indica is the Fabaceae family that is used in the pharmaceutical theuraphic because it contains polyphenols. One of the studies is to have anti-inflammatory properties. When inflammation occurs, , the lipoxygenase (LOX) pathway will be formed as a mediator of acute inflammation. Reducing inflammation, it is necessary to control genes that play a role in increasing inflammation, one of which is LOX. This study aims to analyze the potential of the 5-Methyl-2 (3H)-Furanone compound on LOX action. The compound 5-Methyl-2 (3H) -Furanone (CID 11559) was downloaded from the PubChem database. The 5-LOX protein was downloaded from Protein Data Bank (PDB 6N2W) and and prepared by removing ligands and molecules that bind to Discovery Studio V19.1.0.18287. The compounds and proteins were interacted with the Vina autodock software integrated in the PyRX software and analyzed using Discovery Studio V19.1.0.18287. The results showed 5-Methyl-2 (3H) -Furanone binds to lipoxygenase on the active sites of Gln329, Arg518, Ile330, Leu153, Glu146, Asn328, and Asp290. The three bioactive compounds tamarin bind to lipoxygenase with hydrogen, hydrophobic and van der Waals forces. The ligands and proteins that are formed produce energy -6Kcal/mol. The interactions that occur between compounds contained in Tamarindus indica have potential as inhibitors of LOX and are predicted to be used as compounds for inflammatory therapy
