Self-Evaluation of Jurnal Informatika Sunan Kalijaga (JISKa): Perspectives of Reviewers and Authors
The success of JISKa is inseparable from the role of reviewers and authors. Unfortunately, JISKa had never been assessed or evaluated by reviewers and authors despite the fact that assessment from the reviewers and authors would be valuable feedback for JISKa’s self-evaluation. Therefore, survey-based research has recently been conducted to assess JISKa’s performance using the User Acceptance Test of OJS version 2.4.8.0. This study used a survey method to obtain an assessment and evaluation from reviewers and authors related to JISKa.The respondents in this study consist of 68 authors and 26 reviewers. The result of this study stated that 91.2% of the authors and 84.6% of reviewers are satisfied with JISKa. A percentage number of 100% of writers and reviewers wants JISKa to raise its level of Sinta accreditation. This accreditation is awarded in 2018 and will end in 2023. JISKa is now on Sinta 4.The JISKa website appearance looks good and easy to use. The dashboard on the JISKa page is user-friendly for the author. However, the current version of JISKa OJS 2.4.8.0 needs to be upgraded to OJS version 3. There are some points for the future consideration of JISKa: JISKa needs to promote itself more, upgrade the OJS version, and provide the reviewers with certificates of appreciation for future consideration
Sentiment Analysis and Topic Modeling of Indonesian Public Conversation about COVID-19 Epidemics on Twitter
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak has resulted in more than six million confirmed cases and more than 371,000 deaths globally on June 1, 2020. The incident sparked a flood of scientific research to help society deal with the virus, both inside and outside the medical domain. Research related to public health analysis and public conversations about the spread of COVID-19 on social media is one of the highlights of researchers in the world. People can analyze information from social media as supporting data about public health. Analyzing public conversations will help the relevant authorities understand public opinion and information gaps between them and the public, helping them develop appropriate emergency response strategies to address existing problems in the community during the pandemic and provide information on the population\u27s emotions in different contexts. However, research related to the analysis of public health and public conversations was so far conducted only through supervised analysis of textual data. In this study, we aim to analyze specifically the sentiment and topic modeling of Indonesian public conversations about the COVID-19 on Twitter using the NLP technique. We applied some methods to analyze the sentiment to obtain the best classification method. In this study, the topic modeling was carried out unsupervised using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). The results of this study reveal that the most frequently discussed topic related to the COVID-19 pandemic is economic issues

Analisis Perbandingan Algoritma Decision Tree, kNN, dan Naive Bayes untuk Prediksi Kesuksesan Start-up
Start-ups have a very important role in economic growth, the existence of a start-up can open up many new jobs. However, not all start-ups that are developing can become successful start-ups. This is because start-ups have a high failure rate, data shows that 75% of start-ups fail in their development. Therefore, it is important to classify the successful and failed start-ups, so that later it can be used to see the factors that most influence start-up success, and can also predict the success of a start-up. Among the many classifications in data mining, the Decision Tree, kNN, and Naïve Bayes algorithms are the algorithms that the authors chose to classify the 923 start-up data records that were previously obtained. The test results using cross-validation and T-test show that the Decision Tree Algorithm is the most appropriate algorithm for classifying in this case study. This is evidenced by the accuracy value obtained from the Decision Tree algorithm, which is greater than other algorithms, which is 79.29%, while the kNN algorithm has an accuracy value of 66.69%, and Naive Bayes is 64.21%
Review of Maximum Power Point Tracking Control of Photovoltaic Systems in Case of Uniform & Non-uniform Irradiance Conditions
It is crucial to improve the photovoltaic (PV) system efficiency and to develop the reliability of PV generation control systems. One of the approaches to increase the efficiency of PV power generation system is to operate the PV systems optimally at the maximum power point. However, the PV system can be optimally operated only at a specific output voltage; otherwise the output power fluctuates under intermittent weather conditions. In addition, it is very difficult to test the performance of PV systems controller under the same weather condition during the development process where the field testing is costly and time consuming. For these reasons, the presentation is about the state of the art techniques to track the maximum available output power of photovoltaic systems called maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control systems. This topic could be also one of the most challenges in photovoltaic systems application that has been receiving much more attention worldwide. The talks will cover the application of intelligent techniques by means the artificial neural network (ANN) and fuzzy logic controller scheme using polar information to develop a novel real-time simulation technique for MPPT control by using dSPACE real-time interface system. In this case, the three-layer feed-forward ANN is trained once for different scenarios to determine the global MPP voltage and power and the fuzzy logic with polar information controller takes the global maximum power point (MPP) voltage as a reference voltage to generate the required control signal for the power converter. This type of fuzzy logic rules is implemented for the first time in MPPT control application. The proposed method has been tested using different solar cell technologies such as monocrystalline silicon, thin-film cadmium telluride and triple junction amorphous silicon solar cells. The verification of availability and stability of the proposed system through the real-time simulator shows that the proposed system can respond accurately for different scenarios and different solar cell technologies. In other cases, one of the main causes of reducing energy yield of photovoltaic systems is the partially shaded condition. Although the conventional MPPT control algorithms operate well in a uniform solar irradiance, they do not operate well in non-uniform solar irradiance conditions. The non-uniform conditions cause multiple local maximum power points on the power-voltage curve. The conventional MPPT methods cannot distinguish between the global and local peaks. Since the global power point may change within a large voltage window and also its position depends on shading patterns, it is very difficult to recognize the global operating point under partially shaded conditions. From these reasons, the presentation will address the effectiveness of the proposed MPPT method to solve the partially shaded conditions under the experimental real-time simulation technique based dSPACE real-time interface system for different size of PV arrays, such as 3x3(0.5kW) and 20x3(3.3kW) and different interconnected PV arrays, for instance series-parallel (SP), bridge link (BL) and total cross tied (TCT) configurations
Bacillus subtilis sp. B1, Chitinase Producing Isolated from Indonesian Tropical Shrimp Pond Waste Water
Twenty-five bacterial strains isolated from shrimp farming ponds were screened for their growth activity on chitin as the sole carbon source. The highly chitinolytic bacterial strain was detected by qualitative cup plate assay and tentatively identified to be Bacillus subtilis sp. B1 based on 16S rDNA sequencing and by matching the key morphological, physiological, and biochemical characteristics. The cultivation of Bacillus subtilis sp. B1 in the suitable liquid medium resulted in the production of high levels of enzyme. The colloidal chitin, peptone, and K2HPO4 represented the best carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus sources, respectively. Enzyme production by Bacillus subtilis sp. B1 was optimized by the Taguchi method. Our results demonstrated that inoculation amount and temperature of incubation were the most significant factors influencing chitinase production. From the tested values, the best pH/temperature was obtained at pH 4 and 40◦C, with values specific activity of chitinase to be 324.56 U/mg and 259.70 U/mg, respectively. In addition, the study of the morphological alteration of chitin treated by enzyme, indicating a potential application of this enzyme in several industries
