. The testes produce sperm cells through the spermatogenesis process that occurs in the complex system ducts starting form seminiferous tubules to vas deferens. Testis has a very complex part to support sperm cell production. Sperm cells that have been formed through the process of spermatogenesis will move towards the lumen in the seminiferous tubules. Then the sperm cells will pass through the rete testis tissue, then to ductuli efferentes to arrive at the epididymis for the process of maturing sperm. Anatomical studies on seminiferous tubular tissue and epididymal organs have often been carried out, but there is still very little observation data on rete testis and ductuli efferentes in rabbits. The method used in this study was the paraffin method with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. The observations showed that the structure of the testicular rete channels had thin walls compared to the seminifous tubule channels. Ductuli efferens is a channel between of rete testis and epididymis

The development of the times accompanied by technological developments have brought humans to the Post Modern era. The industry is growing rapidly in all lines, both from the sectors of production of goods, textiles, materials and even penetrated the food sector. Food innovations have sprung up rapidly and creating waste. One of them is vegetable and fruit waste. However, this waste can be processed into compost because the content of Nitrogen, Phospor and Potassium (NPK) which is a basic need for plants to carry out photosynthesis. Processing of vegetable waste into compost is done by adding EM4, molasses and remaining rice washing water. Fermentation is carried out for four weeks to produce compost. Other waste arises from the food industry which produces foodstuffs by frying. Used cooking oil left over from the frying pan is often discharged into the environment to cause pollution. This can be more severe if the disposal is in residential areas. Saponification reaction using natrium hydroxide (NaOH) can separate glycerol and fatty acids from used cooking oil. Fatty acids from the separation of solid waste cooking oil can purify the NPK content in compost, so that when mixed with compost an efficient compost can be produced and has a high NPK percentage. The purpose of this study is to obtain accurate information from literature studies to determine the percentage of NPK in compost after adding fatty acids from used cooking oil

Education is an important aspect of life. In the context of providing education, it is necessary to have adequate human resources and supporting facilities. The level of performance of officers from each facility must also be considered in order to create the desired learning conditions. To find out the level of performance of the services provided in accordance with what is desired or not is to conduct a survey of facility users regarding all aspects of the facility. Therefore, the authors use the Partial Least Square method to analyze the influence of human resource factors and facilities and infrastructure on the satisfaction of the students at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University. From the results of the Partial Least Square analysis, it was concluded that human resources and facilities and infrastructure had a significant influence on the satisfaction of the practitioners in the Basic Chemistry Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University. This shows that there must be an increase in the quality of the performance of natural resources and facilities and infrastructure in order to create the desired learning conditions

Modern human (Homo sapiens) are living things that have evolved through the evolutionary process from a kind of Primates. The history of human evolution is studied through discovery of fossilized body parts in layers of the earth. Early human Pithecanthropus is the most type commonly found in Indonesia, su ch as Pithecanthropus erectus and Pithecanthropus soloensis. Early human have different physical characters from modern human. Morphological characters are commonly used for identification of early human fossils. Cranium plays an important role in fossil identification because it has different variations between species as a result of evolution. This study aims to determine the differences in cranium morphological characters from H. sapiens, P. erectus, and P. soloensis. The research was conducted by observingthe morphological characters of cranium. Data analysis with descriptive qualitative. The difference in cranium morphological characteristics of H. sapiens, P. erectus, and P. soloensisare the shape of cranium in verticalis norm, parietal tuber, and supraorbital torus. Cranium morphological characters is simply and reliable to identify the types of hominid species

Estimation of Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial Regression Parameters Using the Maximum Likelihood Method (Case Study: Factors Affecting Infant Mortality in Wonogiri in 2015)

    No full text
The relationship between the response variable (Y) with one or several predictor variables (X) can be determined by using regression analysis. In a simple linear regression model there is an assumption that the response variable follows the normal distribution, but in reality it is often found that the response variable does not follow the normal distribution. If a response variable has a Poisson distribution then it can be analyzed with a Poisson regression model. There is an assumption that must be fulfilled in poisson regression that is equidispersion (the variance value must be equal to the average value), so this model is not suitable for use in data that is overdispersed (the variance value is greater than the average value). Poisson regression is a general model used to analyze discrete data where discrete data is often found to be of zero value with an excessive proportion of response variables (zero inflation). An alternative model for dealing with overdispersion and zero inflation is the Zero Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB) model. This research aims to estimate the Zero-Inflated Negative Binomial (ZINB) regression parameters using the maximum likelihood method. The zero inflated negative binomial model (ZINB) was applied to the case of infant mortality in Wonogiri Regency in 2015. The results showed an independent variable that affected the infant mortality rate was the percentage of pregnant women (X_4) with an AIC value of 113.1961
