How Teachers and Students Perceive Children’s Non-Cognitive Skills
Get PDF本研究は，現場の保育者や学生が子どもの非認知的能力をどのように捉えているかに関心をもち，非認知的能力に関する保育技術に基づいて，具体的な子どもの非認知的能力の姿をどのように捉えているかを明らかにすることを目的としている。調査はMicrosoft 社のForms を用いて作成し，保育者と大学生を対象にインターネットを介してのウエブ調査を実施した。44名の保育者と33名の大学生から回答が得られ，保育者を経験年数が9年以下と10年以上の2群に分けた。その結果，経験年数10年以上の保育者と学生と比較すると，非認知的能力に係る子どもの姿や非認知的能力に関する保育技術に差があることが明らかになった。しかし，非認知的能力に関して，経験年数が9年以下と経験年数10年以上の保育者との間には差はみられなかった。子どもの非認知的能力を可視化するツールに保育者から高い関心があったことから，保育の振り返りに活用できるシートを開発していきたい。This study explores how practitioners in the field of early childhood education and care (ECEC) and students perceive children's non-cognitive skills. We clarify how specific non-cognitive skills are perceived based on teacher's techniques related to non-cognitive skills. An online survey was conducted targeting teachers of ECEC and university students. Responses were obtained from 44 ECEC teachers and 33 university students. Of these, teachers were divided into two groups based on their years of experience: those with 9 years or less and those with 10 years or more of experience. A comparison of teachers with over 10 years of experience and students revealed clear differences in the perception of children's non-cognitive skills and teacher's techniques related to such skills. However, no noticeable differences were observed between the two groups of teachers. Given teacher's high levels of interest in tools that visualize children's non-cognitive skills, we want to develop a sheet that can be used for retrospective analysis in ECEC.departmental bulletin pape
School Counseling Coordinator Functions, Activities and Training Issues
Get PDF平成21年（2009），教育相談等に関する調査研究協力者会議の報告において，スクールカウンセラーを有効活用するための教育相談，生徒指導，特別支援教育などの校内組織の有機的な連携や，各分野を見てコーディネートを行うコーディネーター役となる教員として教育相談コーディネーターの位置付けが示されていた。しかしながら，その取組は始まったばかりで，学校現場での配置や役割，機能などの理解は深まっておらず，教育相談コーディネーターの育成のための研修の整備が求められている。本稿では，このような現状を踏まえ，教育相談コーディネータの機能と役割について整理し，その活用と進め方について理解を深め，現在認められている課題を挙げて，改善のための方法及び育成について展望する。In 2009, the report of the Research Cooperation Conference on Educational Counseling, etc. recommended organic collaboration among school organizations such as educational counseling, student guidance, special needs education, etc. in order to effectively utilize school counselors, and various fields. The Impact of Limited Laboratory Access on Grade 9 Science Students
Get PDFLaboratory experiments play a crucial role in science education. However, existing research indicates that science is often taught in an abstract manner while neglecting the practical aspect of laboratory work. In South Africa, a significant number of public schools face financial constraints that prevent them from conducting laboratory experiments. To investigate the impact of limited laboratory access on science students, the study employed a quantitative approach. 662 questionnaires were collected from grade 9 science students. The findings revealed that most participant had a positive perception of science and laboratory experiments. Furthermore, students with access to laboratories exhibited a greater level of enjoyment towards science compared to those without access.departmental bulletin pape

How do Japanese learners recognize speech style in Japanese? : A case study on the transformation of recognition with speech style over staying in Japan
Get PDFThis study investigated Japanese language learners' recognition of speech style in Japanese as a case study. Data were collected from four Chinese advanced-level learners of Japanese, who recorded their recognition of speech style used by native speakers over the course of several months of living in Japan. The results indicated that all four learners recognized that the style they should use was uniformly determined depending on their hierarchical and close relationships with the other person, and that they wanted to use normal form more, but they were conscious of the norm. They all had a common dilemma regarding the use of polite form. Furthermore, the learners noticed that even when native speakers should have used polite form, there was a style shift to normal form, and they considered various associated reasons and effects. Since speech styles are used in a variety of ways even among native speakers, learners need to become aware of them in their daily lives and deepen their understanding accordingly. Get PDFグローバル社会における理数科教育の充実・発展に寄与することを目指して，本研究では，グローバルな視野を持つ教員の養成に取り組む大学と，グローカル人材の育成や理数科教育に注力している高校が連携し，高校生が英語で諸外国の理科・数学を学ぶグローバルな理数教育を実践した。具体的には，徳島県内のスーパー・サイエンス・ハイスクール（SSH）において，身近な混合物の分離および食品に含まれるタンパク質の検出を学修課題とする２種類の化学の授業を実践した。本実践により，大学および高校がそれぞれ注力する教員養成および人材育成に寄与する教育効果が得られた。For contributing to the enrichment and development of science and mathematics education in a global society, we implemented global science and mathematics education for high school students to experience foreign science and mathematics classes in English in collaboration with a teacher training college engaging in training teachers with a global perspective and a senior high school committed to fostering global and local human resources and science and mathematics education. Specifically, we conducted two types of chemistry classes about separation of daily mixtures and detection of proteins in foods at a Super Science High Schools (SSH) in Tokushima Prefecture. Lesson Development Regarding the Transmission of the Culture of Japanese Everyday Life with Home Economics: Through the practice of " Home Economics Education in Elementary School”
Get PDF学習指導要領改訂の基本方針の中には，伝統や文化に関する教育の充実を図ることが示されている。伝統や文化を尊重すること，そのよさについて理解を深めることが求められており，そのためには，授業を担当する教員に日本の伝統的な生活文化に対する深い理解が必要となる。しかし，現在の私達には，日本の伝統的な生活を身近に捉える機会は少ない。そこで，日本の伝統的な生活文化のよさを実感することをねらいとした授業を考案し，小学校教員を目指している大学生を対象に実践してその効果を検証した。実践した授業は，家庭科衣生活領域の和服を題材として，和服に適したデザインを考える演習を取り入れた。授業実践の結果，和服に対する興味・関心が高まり，和服についてもっと学びたい，知りたいという学習意欲が向上した。また，和服を日本の文化として大切にしたいと考える大学生の割合も増加した。Efforts to enhance education on traditions and culture are indicated in the basic policy of the Course of Study Guidelines in Japan. While respecting tradition and culture, We need to deepen understanding of their merits is required. An increased understanding of the culture of traditional Japanese everyday life is also necessary for the teachers in charge of classes. However, there are few opportunities for teachers to experience a traditional Japanese lifestyle in our current lives. Therefore, we devised a lesson that aimed for students to personally experience the merits of the culture of traditional Japanese everyday life, implemented the lesson for university students who were studying to become teachers, and verified the lesson’s efficacy. The lesson, on the subject of Japanese clothing within the area of clothing for daily life in home economics, incorporated exercises where students could contemplate designs suitable for Japanese clothing. Implementing this lesson resulted in increased interest and enthusiasm toward Japanese clothing and improved motivation for learning, with students wanting to study and know more about Japanese clothing.
