Conditions and issues of anti-disaster measures adopted by preschool facilities and families of children
Get PDF幼保施設職員が捉えた家族と行う災害対策の実際とその課題を明らかにすることを目的とし、関東地方 A 県の幼保施設において災害対策を中心的に担当する職員に半構成的面接調査を行った。承諾の得られた８人に、半構成的面接調査を実施し、面接内容を質的帰納的に分析した。幼保施設が家族と行っている災害対策は、【災害対策を家族に説明する】、【情報の伝達方法を決める】、【家族と災害の訓練を行う】、【災害時の必要物品を準備する】の４つのカテゴリーが抽出された。また、家族と災害対策を行う上での課題は、【施設と家族との災害対策の話し合いが十分にできていない】、【訓練の日程調整が難しい】、【家族が計画に従った訓練に参加できていない】、【災害時に家族をサポートする人が近くにいない】、【家族の災害対策への関心が低い】の５つのカテゴリーが抽出された。今後は、幼保施設が家族と災害対策を行う上での課題を解決し、家族が幼保施設で行っている災害対策に参加できるための支援が必要と考える。departmental bulletin pape

Survey on Health Literacy, Awareness on Healthy Eating, and Physical Condition in Female Junior and Senior High School Athletes
Get PDFThe aim of the present study is to examine health literacy, awareness on healthy eating, and physical condition among female junior and senior high school athletes, thereby providing baseline data for health education activities.
The subjects were 54 female junior and senior high school students, including 29 players from soccer academies and 25 from junior and senior high school baseball teams. The questionnaire asked the subjects about their health literacy, awareness on healthy eating, and physical condition. The subjects were then classified into two groups（low- and high-health literacy groups）based on their health literacy scores, and their awareness on healthy eating and physical condition were examined.
The results showed that the high-health literacy group among the female junior and senior high school athletes has better awareness on healthy eating, less frequent constipation, less injury-related hospital visits, and more subjects having regular access to information related to healthy eating, health, and illness（P ＜0.05）departmental bulletin pape
The State of Outpatient Nutrition Guidance, and the Comparison in response to Situations Preventing Nutrition Guidance Process by the Dietitians` years of service. -A clinical-psychological perspective-
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to understand the practice of outpatient nutrition guidance in medical institutions, and to consider the difference in response to situations preventing the process of nutrition guidance between dietitians with more than 10 years of experience and dietitians with less than 10 years of experience.
We conducted a web-based questionnaire to dietitians who have experience in providing outpatient nutrition guidance, and got 26 responses.
Majority of outpatient nutrition guidance were taken place in “Private room for clinical nutrition department”（61.5%）, other answers were in “multipurpose private room” “consultation room” and “bedside”. Most popular person in charge of providing nutrition guidance, was “the dietitian in charge of the client”（61.5%）, showing tendency of continuous support by familiar dietitian. Information between other professionals were basically shared through electronic medical records, furthermore by face to face when necessary（77%）.
We compared the responses regarding situations preventing nutrition guidance process between dietitians with less than 10 years of experience, and dietitians with more than 10 years of experience. Relatively, when a conversation gets stuck, dietitians with less than 10 years of experience tended to continue the conversation by asking closed questions. And when a client showed resistive behavior, they tended to seek for a solution by check the client’s recognition and understanding of the guidance. On the other hand, when a conversation gets stuck, dietitians with more than 10 years of experience tended to change topic, and/or showed sympathy while keeping waiting attitude. And when a client showed resistive behavior, or when the treatment plan gets delayed, they tended to seek solution through multidisciplinary

The Expected Achievement and Prospects of “School Internship” for College of Early Childhood Care and Education ─A Survey of Differences of Student Growth at Each Stage of Practical Training─
Get PDF本研究では、①実習経験による学生の学びの差異を明らかにすること、および、②その結果から、保育者養成校における学校体験活動のプログラムを展望することを目的とした。保育者養成課程の学生を対象とした調査を行った結果、部分実習以上を経験した学生は、参加実習までを経験した学生に比べ、保育者の心構えの獲得や実践力の成長を実感しやすいことが明らかになった。しかし、園の経営方針や特色の理解については、参加実習までの経験により十分得られる可能性があることが分かった。このことから、学校体験活動のプログラムとしては、まず、学生が、園の教育活動全体を俯瞰できる機会が挙げられる。このような活動を通して、様々な保育活動を観察する視点を獲得することができれば、子ども理解や保育者の職務内容把握も可能となり、自己の成長課題の抽出や養成課程における学びへの価値づけも高まるだろう。学校体験活動のプログラム考案にあたっては、教育実習との連続性にも考慮しながら、保育の周辺（第三者視点）から中心（子どもと保育者視点）に入り込むプロセスを長期的に見通すことが重要である。departmental bulletin pape
Isozyme Composition of Actinidin in the Fruit of Different Kiwifruit Varieties

It has been suggested that the actinidin inʻ Hayward’ fruit, the most common commercially available cultivar, can be divided into several isozymes. In the present study, two types of actinidin isozyme, A1 and A2, were purified from ʻHayward’ fruit, and these concentrations in the fruit juice of 16 kiwifruit cultivars/selections were determined using ion-exchange high-performance liquid chromatography. The concentrations of A1 and A2 were in the ranges of 0 - 2.32 and 0 - 1.77 mg/mL, respectively. Purification of Actinidin-like Enzyme in Actinidia arguta Fruits
Get PDFActinidia arguta fruit, known as ‘hardy kiwifruit’ or ‘baby kiwifruit’, contains a large amount of protease similar to actinidin which is found in the fruit of kiwifruit. In the present study, the actinidin-like enzyme was purified from ‘Mitsuko’ fruit, and the physico-chemical and enzymatic properties of the protease were compared to those of actinidin. Chromatographic and electrophoretic analyses have revealed that the major isozymes in the actinidin-like enzyme are different molecules from the actinidin isozymes A1 or A2. Moreover, the actinidin-like enzyme showed clear differences in substrate selectivity from actinidin. These results suggest the possibility that the actinidin-like enzyme in A. arguta fruit, which has conventionally been called actinidin, is a different kind of enzyme from actinidin in the fruit of kiwifruit.departmental bulletin pape

Survey of the Freshmen in the Academic Year of 2022 on “Informatics Education” Provided by Two Liberal Arts Colleges in Tokyo
Get PDFIn this paper, we have carried out questionnaire survey to freshmen about the consciousness of “Informatics Education” during high school days since 2010. We have continued to carry out this survey in the Academic Year of 2022 in the humanities departments in universities. As a result, it turned out that the students who do not have good PC environment tend to feel they are bad at PC skills from 0.9 times to 1.8 times as much as the students who have good PC environment. PC literacy and fundamental knowledge about PC have not developed as the teachers expected. In addition, according to the chi － square test relating to the presence/ absence of PC, it was found out that there is a connection between the consciousness toward the operation of PC and about a word processor and spreadsheet, PowerPoint. But also it turned out that relevance is not seen at all. The result showed that the fields of weakness are different among two universities.departmental bulletin pape
