Sports Nutrition Initiatives at a Registered Dietitian Training School: Attitudinal Survey of Female University Students Active in the Komazawa Women’s University Athlete Nutrition Support Project
Get PDFIn recent years, exercise and sports among women have been promoted in Japan from the perspective of promoting women’s lifelong health, physical fitness, and motivation for living. The importance of a favorable diet to maintain health, prevent disease, improve physical fitness and athletic performance, and manage physical condition is attracting attention among people who exercise and play sport, and efforts are being made to develop human resources and create an environment that promotes sports nutrition. Since 2016, the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences in the Faculty of Human Health at Komazawa Women’s University has implemented the “Athlete Nutrition Support Project” for female university students who want to become registered dietitians, offering practical learning in sports nutrition through nutrition education activities for female athletes.
In this survey, we conducted a questionnaire on the web of 50 female university students who are active in this project, with the aim of enhancing the project’s activities and improving the environment for human resource development to promote sports nutrition. The responses of 31 individuals were analyzed. The survey results indicated that the female university students participating in the project were highly motivated to learn about, and work in, sports nutrition.They were expected to be future leaders in the promotion of sports nutrition.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFThe term Kyoto-kanke-shizoku refers to the low-level functionaries who served in the Imperial Court until 1869. They became unemployed and impoverished as a result of the Meiji Restoration. The organizations Heian-gikai and Kyoto-Ohkitsu-zaidan were founded to support them. Heian-gikai Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Heian-gikai) and Ohkitsu-zaidan Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Ohkitsu-zaidan) are the materials handed down from generation to generation in these organizations. In 2016, these materials were donated to the Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives. The concept analysis of “the antenna” in clinical nursing practice
Get PDF目的：臨床看護実践における「アンテナ」の概念を明らかにし、看護実践への示唆を得る。
方法：Walker & Avant（2005/2008）の概念分析の手法を参考に文献を分析した。
結果：臨床看護実践における「アンテナ」の定義属性は【意図的に研ぎ澄ませる感覚（五感・直感）】 【対象から発せられるサインに向ける注意】【対象から発せられるサインや変化を見逃さない心構え】 【判断材料にするための情報収集】【臨床経験の中で磨かれる受信能力】であった。先行要件に＜良くない病状や変化＞＜言語的コミュニケーションによる理解が困難な対象＞＜何が起こるか予測が難しい状況＞があり、結果として＜ケアの必要性の判断＞、＜対象理解＞が生じていた。
結論：「アンテナ」は【対象から発せられるサインや変化を見逃さない心構え】をもって【意図的に研ぎ澄ませる感覚（五感・直感）】という定義属性を持っていた。それは先行する判断材料が必要な状況で、「情報を取り逃したくない」という看護師の思いが影響していると考えられた。departmental bulletin pape
