Introduction to Heian-gikai Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Heian-gikai) and Ohkitsuzaidan Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Ohkitsu-zaidan) for the Study of Kyoto-kankeshizoku(Ⅷ)
The term Kyoto-kanke-shizoku refers to the low-level functionaries who served in the Imperial Court until 1869. They became unemployed and impoverished as a result of the Meiji Restoration. The organizations Heian-gikai and Kyoto-Ohkitsu-zaidan were founded to support them. Heian-gikai Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Heian-gikai) and Ohkitsu-zaidan Siryo (the Historical Materials of the Ohkitsuzaidan) are the materials handed own from generation to generation in these organizations. In 2016, these aterials were donated to the Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives. This text was written to introduce them for being used in the study on the Kyoto-kanke-shizoku.departmental bulletin pape
International Aspects in Naka Kansuke’s Fairy Tale Poetry —Based on a comparison with Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree—
The purpose of this paper is to clarify the international aspects of Naka Kansuke’s poetry in the form of fairy tales. The research of this article is based on Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research 19K00329, “A Study of Transcendental Cultural Bias as Expressed in Naka Kansuke’s Postwar and Intrawar Creation” (2019-2023). Transcendental cultural bias was originally “a consideration of the inner cosmopolitanism of Japanese culture and the associated bias of Japan’s unique cultural reception and creation” (Hiroshi Araki, 2014), applied to the study of modern literature.
The results of this study revealed that the scriptures, sutras, literature, and folklore culture depicting compassion and gratuitous love originated in India in B.C. and spread throughout the world, and that literature that embraced these motifs and themes has been found throughout the world since ancient times. We were able to situate Naka Kansuke’s fairy tale style poems in the midst of this international development.departmental bulletin pape

Survey of family visit restrictions due to COVID-19 and the thought of family members and nurses: A literature review
departmental bulletin pape
