The Representation of Sexism in A Textbook Entitled “English in Mind”
The result of this research explains the representation of sexism based on three English textbooks “English in Mind”. The focus of this research is to investigate the frequency of males and females, the representation of males and females in occupational roles, and the representation of males and females as inspiring persons based on pictures and reading texts. Thus, the study implements Fairclough's three-dimensional discourse approach: description, interpretation, and explanation for textbook analysis. The study revealed that the frequency of males and females was based on text and pictures. The male is more dominant than the female. Furthermore, males and females in this textbook were portrayed as having the power to do outdoor activities. As well, the female is not only portrayed as the housewife or taking care of the baby. Otherwise, the representation of males and females as inspiring persons variation sometimes comes to an unfamiliar person. Males were superior to females according to the frequency in three English textbooks “English in Mind”. However, the study educates to students be aware of sexism issues in real life, and also students have a perception that being stronger or more capable in some activity does not only refer to gender
Exploring Social Actions: A Study of Children's Social Actions and Children's Novels as Learning Tools
The narrative of children's thoughts in children's novels plays an important role in shaping children's understanding of their social environment. Through social action narratives, children are actively involved in internalizing social norms and values, as well as current phenomena so that they can become a means of learning in the future. Based on this background, the focus of this research is the form of children's social action narratives in children's novels. This research uses an interpretative qualitative approach with a parallel reading approach. This method describes and interprets the narrative of children's social thinking in children's novels. Therefore, the data sources for this research are a novel entitled "Sekolah Alam, Seruuu!" by Safina Zahra Ayesha (12 years old), a community under Komunitas Kecil-Kecil Punya Karya (KKPK) published by PT Mizan Pustaka, Bandung, Indonesia and data on children's social phenomena in Indonesia. The results showed that the narrative of children's social action through the narrative of children's activities includes several aspects, namely (a) Behavior as the basis of children's social action narratives, (b) the environment as a supporter of children's social action narratives, (c) individuals as the main aspect of children's social action narratives. (e) the relationship with the learning aspect for children.

Nilai-Nilai Sosial Dan Budaya Dalam Tradisi Ruwahan di Kabupaten Malinau Kalimantan Utara (Kajian Antropologi Sastra)
Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya yang terkandung dalam tradisi Ruwahan yang dikaji dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Data yang telah ditemukan akan dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan antropologi sastra. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis Spradley. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pada tradisi Ruwahan terdapat dua nilai yang paling dominan yakni 1) nilai sosial; 2) nilai budaya. Nilai sosial meliputi rasa kasih sayang, empati, toleransi, kerja sama. Adapun nilai budaya meliputi simbol, sikap atau kebiasaan, kepercayaan yang tertanam bisa dijadikan nilai moral dalam folklor yang dapat diteladani oleh generasi muda.

IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR DALAM MEMOTIVASI SISWA BERWIRAUSAHA DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK KELAS IV A DI SDN 003 LOA JANAN ILIR TAHUN AJAR 2024/2025
The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of the Independent Learning Curriculum in Motivating Students with Project-Based Learning in Class IV A SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. From the results of the research conducted, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum in motivating students to become entrepreneurs with project-based learning went well, students were very enthusiastic about participating in learning and students were motivated to become entrepreneurs.The Entrepreneurship Project carried out was making key chains from clay, this project was carried out for approximately one month from the planning stage to the marketing stage. The advantages of the project of making key chains from clay can motivate students to become entrepreneurs, this project was chosen because the cost is affordable among elementary school students and the manufacturing process is easy to implement by elementary school students, the disadvantages of this project are at the time of project implementation, and the lack of suggestions and infrastructure from the school. Navigating the Digital Shift: Unveiling the TPACK Landscape among EFL Educators in Indonesia
Background:
Enhancing English language learning activities can be achieved by integrating Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). However, not all EFL teachers, particularly those participating in Indonesia's Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG), effectively harness TPACK to optimize their teaching methods. This study aims to explore TPACK proficiency among EFL teachers, emphasizing the disparities influenced by gender and school status, to guide targeted professional development strategies.
Methodology:
This study, conducted in 2023, was carried out by English Language Education study program lecturers who teach in the PPG. It employed a mixed-method study to investigate TPACK mastery among 285 EFL teachers. A comprehensive research questionnaire was developed and administered to assess TPACK proficiency, focusing on gender and school status as potential differentiators.
Findings:The study delves into integrating TPACK dimensions in EFL teaching, revealing gender-neutral proficiency levels but significant disparities based on school status. While male and female teachers exhibited similar TPACK mastery, state school teachers demonstrated higher proficiency, indicating the influence of school context. Tailored professional development initiatives are crucial to address these disparities and foster effective technology integration in ELT, necessitating collaborative efforts among stakeholders to overcome challenges and promote innovative pedagogical practices conducive to modern learning environments.
Conclusion:This study illuminates EFL teachers' TPACK mastery and obstacles and prospects. While ICT integration is difficult, the TPACK framework offers potential ways to create engaging learning environments. Successful implementation requires overcoming instructional challenges and maintaining stakeholder support. To maximize teaching and learning, educators must adapt their methods to technology.
Originality:
The study fills a knowledge gap by examining EFL teachers' TPACK proficiency, providing insights into gender and school status differences, and insights on challenges and opportunities. This research focuses on early childhood independence learning through toilet training at PAUD Cakrawala Kaki Langit. The background emphasizes the importance of developing children's independence from an early age to achieve the goals of early childhood education in accordance with Law Number 20 of 2003. Toilet training involves fostering children’s autonomy through a structured learning process so they are able to urinate and defecate. The child's independence phase can be carried out starting from the age of 2-4 years. Independence is the ability that children have and can do without the help of others, having self-confidence and discipline. Early childhood independence is greatly influenced by the family and school environment. The aim of this research is to observe the implementation of toilet training learning in fostering independence in young children. The type of research used by this researcher is descriptive qualitative research carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods. The principal and teacher of the Skyline Cakrawala preschool are the subjects that will be observed in the research. The research results show that toilet training is effective in training children's independence which includes discipline, responsibility, courage and motor skills. The storytelling method using pictorial media in this activity involves children and provides guidance on what steps to take when in the bathroom. Interviews with school principals and graphs confirm that children's independence shows good results where children are independent to go to the toilet themselves. The conclusion of this research is that children show significant independent abilities, including going to the toilet on their own, taking off and putting on pants, cleaning the toilet, washing vital organs, and washing their hands. The development of children's independence develops very well in accordance with the desired expectations from the various aspects assessed
PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL DALAM PENINGKATAN EFEKTIVITAS ORGANISASI PENDIDIKAN
Transformational leadership emphasizes change and innovation to achieve organizational goals, which is crucial in the complex field of education. Such leaders inspire, motivate, and empower staff and students, enhancing educational effectiveness through gradual, systematic changes. This study uses a literature review to analyze the impact of transformational leadership on educational organization effectiveness. Findings show that transformational leadership is key in forming a strong, inclusive culture, fostering collaboration, and improving satisfaction and academic performance. The study indicates a positive correlation between transformational leadership and educational performance. Successful implementation requires strong interpersonal skills and organizational support. This research provides valuable insights into strategies for applying transformational leadership to boost educational organization effectiveness.

Kepemimpinan transformasional menekankan perubahan dan inovasi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi, yang sangat penting dalam bidang pendidikan yang kompleks. Pemimpin transformasional menginspirasi, memotivasi, dan memberdayakan staf serta siswa, meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan melalui perubahan bertahap dan sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap efektivitas organisasi pendidikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berperan penting dalam membentuk budaya organisasi yang kuat dan inklusif, menciptakan lingkungan kerja kolaboratif, serta meningkatkan kepuasan dan prestasi akademik. Temuan menunjukkan korelasi positif antara kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja pendidikan. Implementasi yang sukses memerlukan keterampilan interpersonal yang kuat dan dukungan anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang strategi penerapan kepemimpinan transformasional untuk meningkatkan efektivitas organisasi pendidikan.

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA DAN MENULIS MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI PADA SISWA KELAS II A DI SDN 002 SUNGAI PINANG
The main purpose of this study is for described reading and writing skill analysis by using demonstrate method. This research was doing by using qualitative descriptive analysis; this research also used flow model analysis proposed by Miles & Huberman, then validation test by using triangulation technique. Subject in this research was using purpose sampling is teacher who was teaching in class II A, students class II A and the students who couldn’t reading and writing well in SD Negeri 002 Sungai Pinang. The result of the research that; reading and writing skill of students’ class II A SD Negeri 002 Sungai Pinang good enough, but actually there are some students who was getting problems in basic of writing and reading. The problems in reading are: Reading too slowly, out of order and unclear intonations, the students having troubles when read consonant, the students couldn’t spell well, and letters or words are exchanged. The problems in writing are : the students write disorder letters, the letters are imperfect, the consistence of letters size, sometimes it could be big and small, there is no space, the letters position isn’t in line, the way of using pencils and wrong position for writing. The solution to handling this kind of problems are: doing private course for students who were getting problems in reading and writing, the teachers giving extra time to guide the students who were getting problem in reading and writing skills, teacher and parents are working together for monitoring the students improvement.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis kemampuan membaca dan menulis menggunakan metode demontrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, data dianalisis melalui model Miles dan Huberman, kemudian diuji keabsahan data melalui triangulasi teknik. Subjek pada penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yaitu guru kelas II A, siswa kelas II A, dan siswa yang belum lancar membaca dan menulis di SD Negeri 002 Sungai Pinang. Hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa kemampuan membaca dan menulis masih ada siswa yang kesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis permulaan. Kesulitan yang muncul pada siswa tersebut adalah lambat dalam membaca, intonasi suara tidak teratur dan tidak jelas, siswa kesulitan membaca huruf konsonan, siswa masih belum bisa mengeja dan huruf sering tertukar. Kesulitan siswa dalam menulis sebagai berikut; bentuk huruf tidak rapi atau kurang jelas, huruf sering tertukar tulisan tidak sempurna, ukuran huruf tidak konsisten kadang besar kadang kecil dan tidak ada spasi, posisi huruf dalam garis tidak konsisten, cara memegang pensil dan posisi menulis masih salah. Upaya yang perlu dilakukan oleh guru untuk mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam membaca dan menulis antara lain; mengadakan les khusus bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca menulis, guru kelas menyempatkan waktu untuk membimbing siswa yang berkesulitan dalam membaca dan menulis, guru perlu berkerjasama dengan orang tua dalam memantau perkembangan siswa
MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN KEAMANAN DATA DIGITAL DI KALANGAN GURU: PERAN DAN TANTANGAN
Studi ini menyelidiki peran guru dalam meningkatkan kesadaran keamanan data digital dan tantangan yang mereka hadapi di lingkungan sekolah. Metode tinjauan literatur digunakan untuk menganalisis temuan dari berbagai penelitian terkait. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam mengedukasi siswa tentang keamanan data digital, mencakup topik seperti privasi online, pembuatan kata sandi yang kuat, dan mengenali ancaman siber. Selain itu, guru juga bertanggung jawab dalam menerapkan kebijakan keamanan data di sekolah dan meningkatkan literasi digital melalui pelatihan dan workshop. Namun, mereka menghadapi tantangan signifikan seperti kurangnya pelatihan yang memadai, keterbatasan sumber daya teknologi, serta hambatan administratif dan teknis. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan yang lebih baik bagi guru dalam bentuk pelatihan yang komprehensif, peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi, dan kebijakan yang mendukung. Dengan dukungan yang memadai, guru dapat lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran keamanan data digital, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran dan tantangan guru serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk kebijakan dan program pelatihan yang lebih baik di masa depan
DINAMIKA PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN MELALUI KEGIATAN BAZAR DI LINGKUNGAN PERGURUAN TINGGI SWASTA
Pendidikan wirausaha di perguruan tinggi menjadi elemen penting dalam pembangunan manusia dan ekonomi global. Kegiatan pasar di lingkungan perguruan tinggi telah terbukti berhasil dalam memajukan pendidikan wirausaha dengan mendorong mahasiswa untuk memperluas kreativitas, inovasi, dan keterampilan bisnis mereka. Dalam hal ini, sasaran kegiatan bazar adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan wirausaha mahasiswa, mendorong pengembangan produk inovatif, memfasilitasi pertukaran pengetahuan antara mahasiswa dan praktisi bisnis, serta menumbuhkan minat wirausaha. Melalui kegiatan bazar, mahasiswa dapat memperoleh pemahaman langsung mengenai berbagai aspek bisnis, mendapatkan respons langsung dari bazar, dan memperluas jaringan sosial mereka. Namun, tantangan seperti promosi acara, manajemen logistik, dan integrasi ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan perlu diatasi untuk memaksimalkan manfaat dari kegiatan ini. Dengan dukungan aktif dari semua pihak terkait, kegiatan bazar diharapkan dapat terus berkembang dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kemajuan sosial.
