    Get PDF
A crossmatch test between patient and donor’s blood must be carried out before blood transfusion. However, not all crossmatched blood will be transfused to the patient. This indicates inappropriate distribution of blood products, blood wastage, inaccessibility of blood for emergency patients, increased costs, and increased workload for staff. Crossmatch to Transfusion Ratio (C/T Ratio) is used as an indicator to determine the efficiency of blood use and can serve as a guide to anticipate excessive blood demand. This study aims to determine C/T Ratio score of blood components WB and PRC in the Brebes Regency Hospital 2021. This research is a descriptive study with a retrospective approach. Sampling was done using total sampling technique. Data was obtained from the blood requests recapitulation book in Brebes Regency Hospital’s Blood Bank 2021. The result showed there were 47 units WB crossmatched and 34 units (72%) transfused. There were 4589 units PRC crossmatched and 4369 units (95%) transfused. The C/T Ratio score of WB is 1.38. The C/T Ratio score of PRC is 1.05.

The accuracy of the code is very necessary so that the information generated from the diagnosis and medical treatment is accurate. However, researchers found in Dr. M. Djamil Padang there are still 29 incorrect codes (76.3%). This is because the determination of multiple injury codes is written separately and fracture diagnosis is not equipped with a fifth character code. The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of multiple injury codes in external cause cases at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. This research was conducted from May to June 2022. The type of research conducted was quantitative with a descriptive approach. The number of samples was 38 using the purposive sampling method, the data collection instrument used a checklist table with univariate analysis. The results of the research that has been carried out found that the frequency of diagnostic accuracy is 27 (71.1%) incorrect diagnoses, the frequency of conformity of primary and secondary diagnoses is 19 (50.0%) incorrect diagnoses, and the frequency of accuracy of diagnostic codes is 29 (76, 3%) code is not correct. So it can be concluded that there are still causes of inaccuracy in coding, which can be seen from the 3 components of the analysis carried out that affects the accuracy of the code. Therefore, researchers suggest that coders should pay attention to the rules and procedures for coding diagnoses based on ICD-10.

Pending claims for Indonesian Universal Health Coverage (BPJS Kesehatan) is a classic issue in the field of health budgeting in the National Health Security (JKN) era. Some studies have examined factors causing pending claims, however, the issue has not been figured out yet because every hospital has different problems. This study was conducted to identify the problems possibly causing pending claims faced by hospitals. The objectives of the study were to find out the factors causing inpatient pending claims for BPJS Health Insurance at the hospital.  The article search method begins by identifying research articles on two databases, Google Scholar and Academia.edu with predetermined keywords. Articles are selected by PRISMA and based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The search results obtained 191 articles identified from two database searches, including 151 articles from Google Scholar and 40 articles from Academia.edu, finally, only 9 articles were obtained that matched the criteria. Pending claims for inpatient BPJS Health Insurance at the hospital under study were caused by several problems including inaccuracy in coding, incomplete administrative files, not attaching the results of supporting examinations as a support for the diagnosis, enforcement of diagnoses that did not meet the criteria, different perceptions of standard enforcement of diagnoses between specialist and BPJS, different points of view regarding the diagnosis code between hospital coding officers and BPJS verifiers, the discrepancy between main diagnoses and specialist, incomplete medical resumes, there is no SOP for managing BPJS Health insurance claims, knowledge of claim executors, facilities and infrastructure in the claims section, wrong input on the claim application. Managerial support is tremendously required to solve the issues related to pending claims for BPJS Kesehatan

Infants with LBW are one of the risk factors that have a large enough contribution to perinatal death. LBW babies can experience mental and physical disorders at a later age of development. Many conditions cause babies to be born with low birth weight. The main cause is premature birth, other factors are born to mothers who have health problems during pregnancy (preeclampsia, anemia, malnutrition), birth defects in babies, born to mothers with underweight, mother's age less than 17 years or more from 35 years, multiparous and twin pregnancies. Routine check-ups during pregnancy and meeting the nutritional needs of the mother are the best actions to prevent babies from being born with LBW (Setiaputri, 2021). Data from the Magelang District Health Office for 2021, there were 737 cases of LBW from 16,263 births. The Pakis Health Center is one of the areas that has high LBW cases, namely 44 out of 670 births and experienced an increase in 2022 as many as 52 (7.53%) LBW cases out of 690 birth. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of LBW in the Working Area of the Pakis Health Center. The method used is quantitative with a retrospective approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the slovin formula obtained 253 respondents. The analysis used is univariate using frequency distribution and bivariate using Spearman Rank. The results showed that there was a relationship between maternal age (0.001), parity (0.015), gestational age (0.000), ANC visits (0.003), nutritional status (0.000), anemia (0.000) and preeclampsia (0.000) with the incidence of LBW. Health workers are expected to improve early detection through ANC, one of which is by conducting screening so that treatment can be given earlie
