ANGOLAN PORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE COMPETITIVENESS IN THE SOUTHERN AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY
Africa has nine transit corridors, two intra-regional corridors and two main east-west corridors. Africa accounts for about 13% of the world´s population and includes 54 countries, of which 38 have coastline access along the continent´s 30,490 Km of coastline and 16 are landlocked. However, 90% of the volume of cargo between Africa and the world is transported by sea, which typifies the importance of port infrastructure in economic development. This research presents a comparative analysis of the port infrastructures in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) based on the weight capacity that the ports support, waiting time for ships in ports, the connection of infrastructure networks, the growth of GDP per capita and the entry of ships in the country during the year by type of cargo. Similarly, determinant factors of port infrastructure management were identified. The objective is to characterize the competitive position of Angolan’s port infrastructure in the SADC context. The results show that Angola’s port infrastructure is not the worst in SADC. However, the lack of good roads and railroads reduce its competitiveness in relation to Namibian and South African port infrastructure. JEL: R40; R41 Article visualizations

RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO CHILDREN AS FAMILY HEADS. AN EXPLORATORY CASE STUDY OF CHILDREN IN KAMPALA, UGANDA
Child-headed households are a new family modality that has emerged due to HIV/AIDS, parental neglect and abandonment and migration among other factors. Children have taken up parenting and care roles for themselves, their siblings and sometimes other kinsmen. As they take on such roles, they encounter several adversities and experience difficulty acquiring basic needs such as food, housing, education, medical care and clothing. These children, as family heads, interact with physical, social, and cultural environments that bring about adversities but also offer the necessary resources for meeting needs and coping with adversities. Our study sought to explore the specific resources available to children as family heads and how those resources enable child-headed households to meet their needs and cope with the adversities they encounter. We utilised a qualitative methodology with an exploratory case study design to unravel the opinions of six purposively selected children who head families in Kampala, Uganda. We gathered children’s narratives through interviews, which were later transcribed and analysed thematically. Study findings indicated that children tapped into a range of resources such as social networks, including relatives, neighbours, friends, state and civil society departments and organisations. Children as family heads also relied on family land, religiosity and participation in income-generating activities to cope with their adversities and acquire basic needs. Article visualizations
VIETNAM'S CONFLICT RESOLUTION STRATEGY IN THE SOUTH CHINA SEA: DIALOGUE AND MEDIA OVER LEGAL ACTION
Territorial disputes in the South China Sea can be seen as one of the most complex issues among states in the contemporary world due to the involvement of many parties. However, despite the presence of peaceful conflict resolutions, which are regulated under international law, the positive result is still miles apart. This article examines why the Vietnamese Government does not choose to bring the dispute to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is regarded as a legal action to solve the conflict between the two countries, as the Philippines did. Instead, remedies such as dialogue and media take precedence over all others. In the end, the settlement for both countries, based on the model of Peter Wallensteen in the South China Sea, is also discussed. The author approaches the South China Sea dispute between Vietnam and China from realism and neo-liberalism's perspective and will collect the primary data from legal sources, official statements and secondary data in an effort to examine the strategic decisions of the Vietnamese Government toward China concerning the territorial dispute. The paper's finding reveals that legal action is less likely to be used by the Vietnamese Government to tackle conflict in the South China Sea due to the limitations of international law, the asymmetrical and interdependent Vietnam - Sino relations throughout history, and the strategic foreign policy of Vietnamese Government towards China. There is a tendency that the Vietnam Government will keep negotiating with China by using peaceful resolutions such as dialogue and media. At the same time, the Vietnam Government will draw attention from international communities against China's assertiveness for not complying with international law as well as strengthen external defense with other powers. Using the international court will be the last resort in solving the territorial conflict between Vietnam and China. Article visualizations

Optional information on all business banks was extricated from the National Bank of Nigeria’s measurable release and yearly reports. The information utilized in this model are time series optional information for the period 1992 to 2019. The discoveries of the review show that microfinance credits emphatically affect the short-run monetary presentation in Nigeria. Microfinance credits improved utilization per capita in the short run with a great coefficient, albeit these bank credits don't fundamentally affect monetary development over the long haul. Microfinance speculation be that as it may, essentially affects monetary execution in Nigeria over the long haul. Albeit miniature money advances are significant in the development process in Nigeria, different measures, for example, helping farming creation and finding a way suitable way to upgrade per capita pay are similarly significant in supporting the Nigerian monetary development. That's what we suggest, microfinance foundations ought to credit to further develop utilization in the short run, while the long run objective ought to be to further develop speculation and other capital aggregation. SEAFARER'S RESILIENCE ABILITY TO COPE WITH STRESS
Stress is a condition that arises due to a discrepancy between the demands received and the ability to overcome them. Each person's stress resistance can be different depending on the somato-psychosocial state (Fitri et al, 2012). Job stress is an emotional and physical response that disturbs and causes harm arising from job demands that are not in accordance with competence. Resilience is the capacity of individuals to face, overcome, strengthen themselves and continue to make changes in relation to problems or trials experienced, each individual has the capacity to be resilient. Based on observations and interviews that have been conducted with seafarers, the stress that occurs on seafarers while carrying out tasks on board greatly affects their lives, the more quickly they are provoked by emotions, the more easily they get angry so they are involved in acts of violence against other people on board. The research method used was a phenomenological type qualitative method approach, the respondents of this study were seafarers of productive age and had 10 years of sailing experience. Data analysis used is observation, open interviews and non-formal interviews. The results of this study showed that seafarers' resilience attitudes and behaviors were influenced by seafarers' personal abilities (I AM), their ability to make good use of their resilience resources (I HAVE) and their ability (I CAN) to get out of stress, depression, bad experiences and past traumas. The synergy of the three is a source of resilience for sailors. Resilience in seafarers is strengthened and formed by the existence of social support obtained by seafarers through relationships with family, friends, community and the existence of work cultural values that are determined by both work cultural values from the office or work cultural values from the skipper on the ship.
