This study determined the extent of the adoption of management accounting practices as tools for decision-making in manufacturing firms in Anambra State, Nigeria. Two research questions were answered in the study and four null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. The population of the study comprised of 292 owners and managers of registered manufacturing firms with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Corporate Affairs Commission, Awka, Anambra State. A purposive sampling technique was used to select a sample size of 228 registered manufacturing firms in Onitsha, Nnewi and Awka. Data for this study was collected using a structured questionnaire titled Questionnaire on Adoption of Management Accounting Practices by Manufacturing Firms (QOAOMAPBMF)’ developed by the researchers based on the insight gained from the literature review and the research questions guiding the study. The reliability of the instrument was determined using the Cronbach Alpha co-efficient which yielded a reliability value of 0.95 and 0.81 respectively for the two clusters with an overall reliability value of 0.88. Descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions to determine the homogeneity or otherwise of the respondents’ views, while the ANOVA was used to test the null hypotheses at a 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed that costing systems and budgeting systems are adopted as tools for decision-making by manufacturing firms in Anambra State, Nigeria to a great extent. Owners and managers do not significantly differ in their academic qualifications in this regard, but they differ significantly in their years of working experience. The researchers concluded that manufacturing firms in Anambra State, Nigeria would benefit immensely from the effective and efficient adoption of management accounting practices which will enhance and boost their decision-making so as to increase their competitive advantage in the long run. Based on the findings, it was recommended among others that the management of manufacturing firms should update themselves on management accounting practices through training and workshops organized by relevant research institutes and set a benchmark for the adoption of management accounting practices with the aim to improve the adoption of these practices. REVIEW OF COVID-19 CRISIS AND TELEWORK: MEASURING THE PERFORMANCE OF BANKS’ MARKETERS IN AKWA IBOM STATE, NIGERIA
This study measured the relationship between telework during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown and bank marketers’ performance within Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Relevant related literature was reviewed and regular home-based, high mobile and relocated back-office teleworking were adopted as dimensions of telework. The ex-post facto research design was used to investigate the relationships between telework during COVID-19 Pandemic and bank marketers’ performance using the following constructs; ability to achieve sales targets, ability to convert leads to customers, and ability to retain both customers and high net-worth customers. The sample size was determined as 254, using Krejcie and Morgan (1970) sampling table with a 95% confidence level, while 154 usable copies of the questionnaire were submitted indicating a 60.63% respondent rate. Convenience sampling was used to administer the questionnaire via Microsoft form URLs to emails and WhatsApp of respondents. The data were cleaned and analyzed using MS Excel and Power BI respectively, to test the three null hypotheses. The empirical analysis revealed that all three null hypotheses were rejected. This implies a significant positive relationship between the dependent and independent variables in the three hypotheses measured. Although, the ability to retain customers and high net-worth customers had the most significant relationship, with a 0.97 positive influence, however, all female participants (27% of participants) disagreed with meeting their sales target during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. This means that the female bank marketers were of the opinion that there is a negative significant relation between telework and bank marketers’ performance. Surprisingly, 33% of females were still willing to continue with extended teleworking probably because of other benefits. Since 55% of respondents agreed to engage in regular home-based telework, 55% also did high mobile teleworking while 36% were involved in relocated back-office telework, which signifies that some bank marketers were involved in more than one dimension of telework. Another minor finding was the fact that there is a very high correlation between high-income earners and willingness to continue teleworking. An area recommended for further studies is the effect of telework on gender-based performance. Article visualizations

TALENT MANAGEMENT, A VETTED EMPLOYEE PERSPECTIVE THAT ACTIVATES A MUTUALITY OF PARTNERSHIP INTEREST
Humanity develops through education and experience with talents and abilities, endowed with different competencies in between individuals, to meet the demands of today's society in economic, social, and technological terms, consider it a way of life, and be valuable. Talent management and related strategies are a trending phenomenon where companies involved in local, regional, and international trade are getting involved and competing for the best employees in the job market. The “talent war” has led companies to focus on activating recruitment tools to hire the best people, work in the company's interests, improve the quantity and quality of productions and services, gain more market space, and gain superior competitive advantages. Who directs or controls talent is an important tension between high-quality employees and companies grappling with the concern that talent is equity that employees own and that the company must use. Employees are the ones who should absorb, retain, and demonstrate their talents. Companies use the talents of their employees, nurture talents, manage them in the company's interests, and provide all environmental and technical circumstances in the best possible way for the functionality of business projects. The talent that makes an employee exceptional when it comes to approaching their ability to work productively is a trait first developed by those people who have invested in improving their skills before they will be hired. Companies often ignore this fact and neglect this reality. Companies look at talents first when hiring an employee. Still, during the utilization of skills, they conquer employee skills by making those part of their organization's assets and consider employee skills as a trait only reflected in their business environment, through their organization's culture. Furthermore, they continue to consider that employee skills are mostly developed through their leadership and management style and proudly sell this merit within and to outsiders as an organizational virtue, ignoring the abilities carried over from before that the employees have. This approach forms the false attributes of values that each party indeed deserves and slowly erases the reality of merit. It creates unrest between employees and their employers and underestimates the source of exceptional skills. In addition, this behavior creates feelings of secession among employees who no longer want to see themselves working in the company, who do not feel properly valued but only feel abused and exploited indeed, resulting in a general depreciation of productivity and efficiency. This systematic literature review article has been searched from other articles, journals, books, trainer blogs, research and training centers, etc. will emphasize the need for the employee perspective to be important in talent management development in order to engage and motivate employees to gain work experience and develop their talents according to their life perspective. The period during which this research was conducted spanned from early 2023 to June 2023. With the concerns summarized above in mind, the Mutual Partnership Interest - MPI mechanism will be addressed with its properties associated with the Vetted Employee Perspective. The study is entitled “Staff Development and Curriculum Implementation of Secondary Schools in Nyamasheke District, Rwanda”. This research was conducted with the purpose of analyzing the impact of Staff development on Curriculum implementation in secondary schools of Nyamasheke District. The study had three specific objectives. Firstly, it was designed to analyze the status of training related to Staff development in schools of Nyamaheke District. The second objective was to find out the challenges faced by schools of Nyamasheke District in curriculum implementation. Finally, the third objective was to analyze the relationship between staff development and curriculum implementation. The study established the relationship between independent variables (training; mentoring; coaching) and dependent variables (teaching methods and content coverage). The target population was made up of head teachers, teachers, and students from secondary schools of Nyamasheke District. The number of those schools targeted by this study was 10 secondary schools. The population was 5’425 people composed of 10 head teachers, 181 teachers, and 5.234 students. The respondents purposively sampled were 250 people composed of 10 head teachers, 160 teachers, and 80 students. Four boys and four girls were selected from every school for the purpose of gender balancing in the study. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation checklists and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative techniques; data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences presented in tables. The study found that Staff development and Curriculum implementation have been more and more effective since 2016 according to Competence-Based Curriculum (CBC): 90% of teachers have been trained on the new curriculum since 2015; 80% of head teachers are bachelor holders in education and 20% of them are post-graduate diploma holders in education. The main challenge is that new documents applied to the new curriculum remain very few. Indeed, 30% of schools do not have well-equipped school laboratories with modern materials and SPSS has been used to analyze different data. The study concluded that there is hope that Curriculum implementation will succeed in the future. The research recommended that the Ministry of Education should help schools to equip all science and computer laboratories. The District Education Officer (DEO) and the school management were also advised to plan much training about new Curriculum implementation. The successful Curriculum implementation will benefit all stakeholders in education and the results of national examinations will be interesting in the future. Article visualizations
THE DECISIVE ROLE OF COMMUNICATION IN TURKISH WOMEN'S PERCEPTION OF POLITICS
Although Turkish women received their political freedoms even before many European countries, today Turkey lags behind many countries in terms of the proportion of women in active politics. This research, which aims to question the reasons for this decline and whose findings are the subject of this paper, also shows the problems women face in politics and their expectations from politics. In this research, which was conducted with the participation of 958 women representing different sociocultural segments, a very different and comprehensive diversity of findings was provided through the original questions included in the questionnaire. The women who responded to the research questions agreed that the number of women in politics is too low and expressed their suggestions for solutions to improve their conditions. In Turkey, women voters outnumber men. Therefore, the findings of this research will help political parties to communicate with and understand women properly and will provide important clues to politicians who want to gain the support of women voters. These findings will also give ideas to sociologists and political scientists who want to investigate the way of doing politics and voter tendencies in Turkey. A democracy can only be a true democracy if women have the right to participate in politics on an equal basis with men and if they can exercise this right freely. The findings of this research give very important messages to society on how this can be realized. Article visualizations
