    Effect of Cyber Security on Business Sustainability of Listed Microfinance Banks in Nigeria

    In Nigeria, microfinance banks (MFB) face the burden of investing in cyber security to protect their databases, prevent monetary losses, maintain customer trust, and remain afloat in a competitive business environment. However, there are incessant cyber risks and attacks by criminals who gain undue access to the cyber-space of MFB and cause financial and non-financial loss. The objective of this quantitative study was to examine the effect of cyber security on the business sustainability of three listed, and most valued MFBs in Nigeria. The population of the study was 315 senior, medium and junior employees of three MFBs in Nigeria. As the target population was manageable, the research adopted a census. Data were collected using a semi-structured questionnaire, and the formulated hypothesis was analysed using multiple regression. The study found that cyber security has a significant and positive impact on the sustainability of MFB in Nigeria. Data availability account for the largest contribution to the sustainability of MFBs, followed by data confidentiality and data integrity. Employees in a MFB uphold that data availability, confidentiality, and integrity are pivotal elements of cyber security that influence the sustainability of their organisations in Nigeria. Given these results from the viewpoint of employees, MFBs are implored to regularly review and strengthen their risk management strategy and adopt a more integrative approach of human-centric cybersecurity, which brings technology and human elements together to address current and future cyber risks and build and sustain consumer trust in digital financial transactions. The implication of the study and areas for future research are highlighted

    Hospitality Education and Industry Linkages: A Systematic Literature Network Analysis

    The purpose of the study was to identify key themes, research gaps, and influential authors, as well as to examine the evolution of research and the quality and rigor of existing literature on hospitality education and its industry linkage. For this, a systematic literature network analysis, comprising a systematic literature review using the PRISMA framework, bibliometric analysis using R programming, network analysis, and thematic analysis was performed. The findings revealed that the most important clusters of research in this area are related to curriculum development, work-integrated learning, and industry partnerships. The review explored the importance of industry-academic collaboration, challenges, curriculum development, and employability as four main themes in the area of industrial linkage in hospitality education. As indicated by researchers, the review suggests the effectiveness of different approaches to industry-academia collaboration in hospitality education, the impact of industrial linkage on the quality of hospitality education in several regions, the role of technologies in enhancing the collaboration between academia and industry in hospitality education, and the development of a sustainable curriculum that incorporates environmental, social, and economic sustainability in hospitality education as future research areas

    Organic compounds possessing a comparatively higher number of nitrogens have gained attention in the upcoming fields of medicine and  research. Synthesizing new drugs with a greater number of nitrogen atoms in their structure skeleton places challenges. Unique features, say lipophilicity carried by Mannich bases and their bivalent metal coordination complexes, claim themselves to be potential sources [1-3]. Heterocyclic organic compounds rooted through amines and amides possess enhanced absorption through bio-membranes because of their lipophilicity which results in boundless pharmaceutical applications [4-11]. They considerably shorten the duration of therapy too. Mannich base and its coordination complexes with a range of first transition bivalent metals, such as Co2+, Mn2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, and Zn2+are reported along with DPPH free radical scavenging activity and anti-inflammatory activity. The scheme sequenced with2-acetyl thiophene, morpholine, and phenyl urea was not yet described, the new Mannichbase,1-(1-morpholino-1-(thiophene-2-yl)ethyl)-3-phenyl urea (L), was synthesized.  The compound and all the complexes were characterized

                    Abstract: E-Pharmacy is one of the essential services that can bring out transparency and ease of buying medicines to the customers. Though the application of internet in the areas of healthcare is intensifying and the online pharmacies serve a good cause, it has not been used as extensively in India. In this study we have focused in detail about the reasons why online pharmacy is not used - from a sample size of 100 respondents and have found that it was because of the high risk of misuse of drugs especially where there are no governing online pharmacy laws, lack of awareness and poor logistics, we have also analysed the other challenges that are faced by the society while using the existing e-pharm apps. Based on our constructs from the inferential and descriptive analysis, which was validated with a sample size of 100, we have put forth a set of suggestions that can make significant improvements in the e-pharmacy sectors and boost its usage. &nbsp

    In contemporary times, biomedical imaging plays a pivotal role in addressing various patient-related concerns.  Brain imaging, particularly through techniques like MRI, offers valuable insights crucial for surgical procedures, radiotherapy, treatment planning, and stereotactic neurosurgery. To facilitate the accurate identification of cancerous cells within the brain using MRI, deep learning and image classification techniques have been deployed. These technologies have paved the way for the development of automated tumor detection methods, which not only save valuable time for radiologists but also consistently deliver proven levels of accuracy. In contrast, the conventional approach to defect detection in magnetic resonance brain images relies on manual human inspection, a method rendered impractical due to the sheer volume of data This paper outlines an approach aimed at detecting and classifying brain tumors within patient MRI images. We have made an effort to publish six articles in this issue that are relevant to the various disciplines of chemistry, physics, mathematics and computer sciences.   The research article written by Sandipan Biswas and Shivnath Ghosh examines the polarity activity exploitation of medications for COVID-19 therapy using Valence Aware wordbook and SentimentReasoning (VADER) sentiment analysis on twitter. In this article authors have discussed the application of similar strategy in various fields. Article also gives brief idea about various stages involved in sentiment analysis. Input of tweets by various parties, tweets retrival, processing of the tweets, detection of sentiments, classification techniques and their evaluation are some of the important steps involved in the study. The article gave information about algorithm, flowchart of the sentiment analysis model. This kind of studies may help in understanding and analyzing the problem in the better way.   Rajamohan YL and Cyril A employed hydrothermal procedure for the synthesis of BaTiO3 perovskite material. The findings show that perovskite-based BaTiO3 coatings showed a noble shift in the corrosion potential of AZ31 alloys in NaCl media. Silicone resigns were critical in developing homogenous BaTiO3 perovskite material coatings on AZ31 alloy.   The review study on the use of Boltzmann systems in recommendation systems by Dheeraj Kumar Sahni and Dhiraj Khurana contributed to study the improvement of accuracy for huge data sets. As we know, recommendation systems assist e-commerce businesses in attracting new customers while also assisting customers in choosing the best product for their needs. The accuracy and the system's cold start issue are constant challenges for recommendation systems, which offer users the right environment with filters to establish the desired choices or possibilities. Therefore, combining the Boltzmann machine approach with the recommendation system helped increase the system's accuracy and provided a user-friendly environment. The authors of this review study covered Boltzmann machines, their types, and recommendation systems. In this review article authors discussed about Boltzmann machine, their types, recommendation system and their hybrid approach, and also discussed about studies which successfully established and used this hybrid approach of Recommendation system with Boltzmann machine.     Josna James introduced a new vertex covering to Intuitionistic Fuzzy graph, named it as Intuitionistic Fuzzy Path Induced Vertex Covering (IFPVC). An algorithm is proposed to determine the IFPVC set and IFPV covering number for IFG. In real life problems graph theory is one of best approaches because of the uncertainty and imprecision in such circumstances, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Graphs has a distinct advantage over graph theory and fuzzy graph theory. This study will help as a disaster management tool that helps to assess the feasibility of the suggested coverage set.   Saralaya et al. reported a novel and economically viable method for the synthesis of 2-chloro-3-[trans-4-(4-chlorophenyl)cyclohexyl]-1,4-naphthoquinone, an important intermediate for the synthesis of atovaquone, a notable anti-malarial agent. In this article, the synthesis strategy has been optimized, and a product of high quality and yield has been produced. In order to reuse the reagents that are used at different stages of the reaction, they also tried to synthesize the required molecule on a commercial scale in a manner that was both inexpensive and environmentally safe.   The realization of passive resistor-free lossy and lossless capacitance multipliers using two voltage differencing transconductance amplifiers (VDTAs) and a single grounded capacitor has been proposed by Tapas Kumar Paul, Suvajit Roy and Radha Raman Paul using PSPICE simulation. These devices, which do not require component matching constraints, are expected to be feasible options for applications like parasitic cancellation and quadrature sinusoidal oscillator circuits. As the simulation results go well with ideal theoretical calculations, the effects of non-idealities of VDTAs on the circuits have also been studied to open a broad scope towards making these simulated circuits real.   We feel immense pleasure to present these articles, which are relevant in their respective fields and can further lead the way to new research objectives.     Landing Page via Perceived Interactivity for Four Generational Cohorts

     Purpose- There are numerous online websites for buying products and services today. The challenge for marketers is to adopt the pull strategy, which attracts customers to the website and creates additional sales. This strategy can materialise only when innovation is brought in. A landing page on the web is considered to be the initial entry point for creating innovation. The current research paper emphasises the importance of creating a landing page for bringing innovation that caters to the four generations. Design/method /approach-400 responses were obtained equally from male and female respondents of each generational category except the alpha generation. Data was collected through a survey using Google forms. The structural equation model was used for analysis, and generational age was considered the moderator. Findings-There is a gradual shift in the generational pattern of perceiving and understanding technology to buy from the website. Being tech-savvy, in the case of generation Z the impact of perceived interactivity in creating purchase intention is very strong, followed by generation Y and generation X.  Practical implications-Age plays a huge role in understanding the landing page leading to better purchase intention. Hence it is evident that a landing page that caters to all generations unambiguously has to be considered by marketers to boost sales. Originality /value- The research results suggest that every generation seeks exclusivity on the landing page. So, generation-based perceived interactivity features on the landing page can attract all generations.
