No full textThe paper sets a goal to clarify, by the form of a case study into the destiny of the three generations of the native French family of the Raduits, the connection between the economic resources, which the mentioned family could gain and mobilize, and the economic and financial aspects of army service. They were not only the inherent part of aristocratic warrior careers, but they also, in the situation of yet undeveloped fiscal mechanisms of a premodern state that was still searching for ways how to finance its permanent army, represented a risk factor which, to a considerable extent, decided about success or failure not only of the particular individuals, but as well their families and other generations of the dynasty, in the strictly socially stratified society of the early modern period.The paper sets a goal to clarify, by the form of a case study into the destiny of the three generations of the native French family of the Raduits, the connection between the economic resources, which the mentioned family could gain and mobilize, and the economic and financial aspects of army service. No full textČlánok sa zaoberá optimalizáciou hladiny zásob prostredníctvom určenia vhodného spôsobu ich obstarania. Dôležité je určenie kritérií optimalizácie, ktoré sú navrhnuté na základe definovania faktorov ovplyvňujúcich určenie spôsobu obstarania. Článok obsahuje algoritmus určenia vhodného spôsobu obstarania, ktorý zohľadňuje danú sústavu kritérií a tiež návrh multikriteriálneho modelu riadenia zásob. Následne sú rozobraté konkrétne prípady zníženia nákladov a zníženia rizika nedostatku zásob aplikáciou navrhnutého modelu v porovnaní s aplikáciou jestvujúcich modelov.The paper presents the draft model for the stocks level optimization with utilization of the suitable way of their purchase. Determination of the optimization criteria is considered to be the necessary step. They are designed based on the definition of the aspects affecting the determining the way of purchase. In this paper, the algorithm for the determining the suitable way of purchase is proposed as well. This algorithm takes into consideration the specific criteria and draft model for the stocks management. Then, the particular examples of costs decreasing and decreasing the risk of the stocks shortage with the utilization of the designed model comparing the implementation of existing models are described in the paper

Prediction of NVH parameters of driveline in construction phase is a significant topic nowadays because it can save time and development costs, but requires more complex mathematical models. This paper describes the use of MBS simulation tool for prediction of driveshaft vibration where shaft is modeled as a flexible body. MBS approach can take into account various input parameters, i.e. unbalanced mass of shaft, geometry deviation from ideal shape, mounting points of eccentricity or contact between the shaft and other parts of the driveline. MBS model of driveshaft was verified by measurement on a real vehicle

Phonic Musicality as a Means of Recoding in E. L. Doctorow’s Ragtime
No full textThe article examines art interactions, one of the most topical problems in literary criticism, in the form of literary-musical intermedial aspects in E. L. Doctorow’s Ragtime. Principles of intermedial analyses have been introduced into the study with the aim of identifying artistic forms, namely specific piano phonic implications, of the musical genre of ragtime within the eponymous novel. These phonic aspects of recoding correspond to the term “word music” as defined in the typology of S. P. Scher. In addition, imitations of sound can be represented by both explicit and implicit poetological techniques defined as references in W. Wolf ’s conception of “musicalized fiction.” E. Doctorow recodes figures of ragtime as complex literary forms based on organic interactions between different intermedial techniques – verbal music, word music, musical structures and techniques. In this respect, correspondences of word music to music as defined by A.Gier have also been considered in this study. The article also attempts to interpret the artistic sense of the analyzed literary-musical intermedial forms. To this end, two main lines have been defined which are connected to eternal human values as well as the writer’s intentions to reveal controversial problems of American society
