HIL TESTING OF THE MECHATRONIC SYSTEM IN LABORATORY CONDITIONS
No full textTento článek se zabývá laboratorním testováním snímačů a akčních členů u mechtronického systému určeného pro automatické uzavírání diferenciálu. Jeho řídicí algoritmus je implementován na hardware pro HIL testování. Je sledována reakce sestaveného mechatronického systému na reálné snímače a v závěru jsou zobrazeny výsledky z real-time testování k ověření správné reakce akčního členů.Tento článek se zabývá laboratorním testováním snímačů a akčních členů u mechtronického systému určeného pro automatické uzavírání diferenciálu. A transport company that has been defined as the main business aktivity like a mediation of the transport of goods and services, has a difficult position to succeed in the market, where many companies have the same focus. It is the transport price that is important for the customer, for which the shipment is carried out. Being a transport company, the cheapest for the customer, that means getting it to carry out the transport. In this article the authors look at one of the tools more specifically, which acts on the price of making the price in road freight transport, namely the tax on motor vehicles, through which some carriers can be more competitive as other carriers on the EU transport market

No full textPříspěvek popisuje konstrukční návrh měřícího stanoviště pro snímání osových sil v lanech, které umožňuje nepřímou metodou snímat vyvozenou osovou sílu v laně. Součástí příspěvku je také konstrukční řešení hydraulického vyrovnávače tahu v lanech, který umožňuje snímat hodnotu tahové síly v laně a vyrovnávat rozdílné hodnoty tahových sil ve vícelanových systémech elektrických výtahů.

THE SOLAS VGM AND MARITIME SHIPPING: COMPARATIVE STUDY AND ORIGINAL FINDINGS
No full textMezinárodní námořní organizace přijala v roce 2014 novelizaci Mezinárodní úmluvy o ochraně lidského života na moři (Safety of Life at Sea Convention, SOLAS). Tato novelizace se týká povinnosti poskytnout skutečnou a verifikovanou hmotnost naloženého kontejneru před exportní nákládkou na loď (Verified Gross Mass, VGM). Povinnost VGM vstoupila v účinnost 1. července 2016, a to na území všech států, které Úmluvu z roku 1974 jako mezinárodně závaznou smlouvu svým podpisem stvrdily, kdy následovaly úpravy právního řádu na národní úrovni v oblasti procesních právních předpisů. Studie se zaměřuje na implementační proces VGM z pohledu relevantních tržních subjektů, při komparaci výstupů z dotazníkového šetření ve třech členských státech Evropské unie včetně realizovaných hloubkových rozhovorů se zástupci naloďovatelů, zasílatelů a rejdařů. Na základě studie vycházející z analýzy empirických primárních dat bylo možné identifikovat očekáváné výzvy a náklady spojené s implementací VGM pro kontejnerizovaný export zboží, kterým v souvislosti s VGM naloďovatelé a zasílatelé čelí.The International Maritime Organization (IMO) amended the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) Convention, Chapter 6, Part A to include a condition that all full containers loaded onto a vessel for export require a certified weight confirmation titled verified gross mass (VGM) in 2014. The VGM requirement became effective in Jla 2016 for the IMO member countries that signed the SOLAS Convention of 1974 with leaving the details of its implementation at their national law domain. The paper briefly deals with the implementation process of VGM in selected European Union member countries while being improved by an initial review of trade press articles, followed by an survey among shippers, freight forwarders and ocean carriers. Based on the data, the paper identifies the expected challenges and costs related to the SOLAS VGM adoption for container exports that the companies have to face once doing business

No full textThis article analyses major constituents of the poetics of the constructed environment in James Graham Ballard’s novel High-Rise (1975). The novel’s high-rise is contextualised within the framework of contemporary architectural development as well as Ballard’s overall work, with its particular emphasis on novels dealing with prototypically modern urban constructions. The interpretation of Ballard’s narrative seeks to examine the chief aspects of the space of the tower block as well as the tenants’ response to it. The paper endeavours to highlight the author’s tendency to examine the interconnected relationships between humans and contemporary architectural structures in his fiction
Rags and Junkwomen: from a Pension Offence to an Industrial Raw Material and Rubbish Women Collectors
No full textA junkwoman/Lumpensammlerin ‒ a collector of waste rags, glass and bones appeared in the society in a broader context. Someone perceived her as a peculiar character of that time; others considered her to be the poorest being, and for the others she was a necessary labour force recycling solid municipal waste. Financial authorities were interested in her because she collected rags that were in a special customs regime and under official supervision. Permission to such work was issued by the district council, but a junkwoman ranked neither among tradeswomen nor doortodoor sellers. Guardianship or Partnership? Status of Wife and Property Co-ownership of Spouses in Medieval Brno
No full textThe text focuses on position of a wife in medieval urban milieu using medieval Brno as a case example. In addition to her legal status, which is reconstructed based on the analysis of valid legal norms, we pay attention mainly to the concept of property coownership of spouses and its functioning in everyday life, about which we can learn based on written cases that were part of the common agenda of the city council, that is gathered in the socalled Memorial Books.The text focuses on position of a wife in medieval urban milieu using medieval Brno as a case example.
