Examining the Validity of Subjective Career as Satisfaction Factors for Former International Student Employees : A questionnaire Survey Based on the Results of a Qualitative study
E(その他)International students are expected to become highly skilled human resource and labor force in industries with labor shortages in Japan. However, challenges have been identified regarding their retention after employment. Watabe (2021) conducted an interview survey on life career satisfaction factors of former international science student employees working in Japan to explore their career decision-making factors such as retention and returning home. The survey results were analyzed with the aid of Shockley's (2015) Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI) to identify subjective career items and how they are related to career decision-making. This study aims to quantitatively examine the validity of the subjective career items identified in Watabe's qualitative study. The findings indicate that the subjective career items from Watabe's study are generally valid, that there are subjective career items specific to different occupations, and that satisfaction does not necessarily influence the intention to return home.departmental bulletin pape
Theoretical Procedure on the Hydrostatic Stability of Ships (Part 1 : ) Stable Conditions for the Upright State
E(その他)In this paper, a theoretical procedure on the hydrostatic stability of ships is presented.
As the simplest hull form, a columnar ship with rectangular cross-section, which is made of homogeneous squared timber with arbitrary breadth and arbitrary material, is chosen. In the part 1 of this theme, the conditions under which the ship is stable in the upright state with horizontal deck are analyzed by means of ship's hydrostatics.
By doing so, the dependence of the stable conditions on the breadth and material of the ship will be clarified.departmental bulletin pape

Structural Optimization of Proper Arrangement of Damping Material for a Partial Structure
P(論文)A structural optimization method of subsystems to realize desired SEA parameters was proposed by the authors in the past studies. This method is based on a combination of SEA and FEM calculation, calculating repeatedly until satisfying the value of objective functions under arbitrary constraints. As a result of applying the proposed method to a simple structure consisting of two flat plates connected in an L shaped configuration, the design variable is taken as the thickness of the FEM element, a subsystem structure with the desired value of the CLF or power flow between subsystems for the one frequency band or multi frequency bands were constructed. However, it is difficult to apply the optimal results to real machine structure because of setting the thickness of the FEM element as the design variable. In this paper, the method is also validated through numerical analyses, using a finite element method, of a multiple plates partially composed of L shaped, after the sensitivity analysis for the sound energy of the evaluation point due to the fluctuation of loss factors, the subsystem is grouped into a plural elements for the extracted L shaped part, and the each grouped element is set as a design variable, which should take a discrete value, the total mass is taken as a constraint function in order to maximize CLF32 at one frequency band. As a result of optimization, the sound pressure level was reduced by maximizing the value of CLF32 in the target frequency band. Finally, a comparison with a conventional FRF based optimization was shown.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on the Concept of Peace in Nagasaki’s City Planning--Focus on Voices Published in Newspapers soon after World War II
P(論文)This paper looks at how the concept of peace was established and what points were introduced through a check on voices published in Nagasaki newspapers in the early period after World War II. The study aims to shed light on the history of city planning and urban policy.departmental bulletin pape
Deployment of Marketing in Regional Revitalization
P(論文)It can be said that it is difficult to realize regional revitalization based on the conventional ideas and actions for regional revitalization in the face of intense regional competition. In order to successfully revitalize the region, we will evolve the existing marketing based on the strategy of securing long-term profits in the region while advancing the concept of customers that contribute to the regional economy from the viewpoint of management and business. It is necessary to utilize “Marketing ”. In other words, it is essential to build a mechanism and system that brings "creating cash" and "circulation" to the region. From now on, it will be the source of regional revitalization that each region breaks out of regional competition and collaborates with customers to create value. Regional activation moves from competition to co-creation.departmental bulletin pape
A Moral Education Lesson that Holds the Power of Growth in Mind--Based on classroom management fostering self-affirmative consciousness of children
P(論文)Based on the clinical approach starting with children and returning to them, we conducted 1) classroom management to foster self-affirmative consciousness based on the habits of reflecting on oneself and 2) moral education lesson to internalize the power of growth in mind. The results, analyzed by the association method, showed that the increase in self-affirmative consciousness was significant (p<.05) from April 2019 to January 2020. As the result of the moral education lesson in January 2020, the children's power of growth for self-affirmative consciousness was raised (p<.05) in their minds.departmental bulletin pape
