High Temperature Sensing System--A Study on the Supply of a Regulated DC Power Source--
Get PDFRegulated DC power source which can be operated up to 100℃ is required for a high temperature sensing system in the heat resistant unit where maximum temperature is kept at 100℃ by heat of water vaporizatíon.
Four types of voltage regulator were tested from 20℃ to 100℃. The dropout voltages and output voltages were measured for various output currents. One of these IC was continuously tested at 100℃ for 1000 hours.
From these tests it is confirmed that the plastic encapsulated voltage regulator can be used for a high temperature sensing system.departmental bulletin pape
