Theory of Bose Systems in Elongated Traps

    No full text
We consider a 3D Bose gas in a elongated cylindrical harmonic trap and find the density profiles for 3D cigar and 1D mean field regimes. In addition, beyond the scope of the mean field behavior, expressions of the wave functions and density profiles of two, three and N-body systems are obtained for a 1D δ-interacting Bose gas trapped in a harmonic potential.departmental bulletin pape

Marketing Education in Cooperation with the Regional Community

    No full text
Recently, the motivation of students has decreased in Japanese universities. In this study, I introduce the case of marketing education in cooperation with the regional community in the Nagasaki Institute of Applied Science. Then, I indicate the effectiveness and problems of this marketing education.departmental bulletin pape

The Limit of Traditional Marketing Communication with Regard to the Expantion of Uncertainty in Sales

    No full text
Companies have increased advertisement expenditures to expand sales. But this traditional marketing communication may no longer be effective to persuade consumers to purchase commodities. In this study, I analyze the essence of sales and uncertainty of sales. Then, I indicate the limit of traditional marketing communication with regard to the expansion of uncertainty in sales based on an analysis of the present market.departmental bulletin pape

Using the Internet to Share Value Creation with Consumers --The Case of the Consumer Participatory Product Development in Ricoh Elemex Corporation--

    No full text
Relationship marketing has expanded to BtoC, but the practice of relationship marketing has focused on the transmission of information to each consumer. Therefore it is not effective to build a relationship with consumers. So I focus on value creation with consumers as a measure to build relationships with consumers. In this study, I consider the effectiveness and problems of the consumer participatory product development with the use of the Internet based on an in-depth analysis of the case of Ricoh Elemex Corporation.departmental bulletin pape

Studies on Effective Exploit of Low Grade Gas Oil in a Small-Sized High Speed Diesel Engine

    Get PDF
To find a basic principle of low grade gas oil combustion, tests were conducted using a small-sized, high speed diesel engine which seems to have difficulties of burning low quality fuels. The objective was to develop a basic formula for successfully burning low grade future oils in diesel engines while ensuring engine performance nearly equal to that obtained with good quality fuel used and also maintaining high engine reliability. Using a natural-aspirated engine, the effect of individual factors on engine performance was studied by changing single-variables such as fuel injection timing, opening pressure and number of holes of the fuel valve nozzle, cooling water temperature and suction air temperature. This paper reports the results of the test in which practical measures for achieving good combustion with low grade fuels were obtained to some extent in the test engine.departmental bulletin pape

Thermo-physical Study on High Temperature Steam Turbine

    Get PDF
Realization of USC (Ultra-Super Critical) power plants is one of the ways to improve thermal efficiency of fossil power plants. New beneficial design concepts based on thermo-physical viewpoints were proved to be effective through EPDC's Wakamatsu 50MW high-temperature turbine demonstration project of which purpose was to prove practicality of 1000MW class USC turbines. Success of this project leaded realization of 600℃ class and over 600℃ class large capacity high-temperature steam turbines, which contributes to the improvement of power generation efficiency and economy of coal fired power plant, as well as to the protection of the global environment by reduction of effects per same amount of power generation.departmental bulletin pape
