Synchrony in cross modality perception: Auditory and visual sensation / tactile and visual sensation
No full textIn this research, synchrony in cross modality perception was examined. We compared the difference of the simple reaction times for each modality with time difference to percept synchrony. Experiment 1 revealed that the difference of simple reaction times of auditory and visual sensations strongly depended on strength of light, however, the time difference to percept synchrony was almost constant across various strength of light. Experiment 2 revealed that there was the same tendency between tactile and visual sensation as Experiment 1. These results are consistent with the perceptual fusion hypothesis that appropriate modality can capture the other modality.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFThe development of Kuchi-no-tsu as a trade port in the Meiji and Taisho Periods made the architecture of the Customs House, Mitsui & Co. Ltd. Branch Building banks, red light district, emigration neibourhood opulent place did street wealthily. More than 60 buildings constructed before the early Showa years were identified in the port and environs. These buildings are characterized by the variety of architectural design.
