Motion Control of a Small Biped Humanoid Robot
Get PDFThis paper presents an experimental study on motion control of a small biped humanoid robot. The humanoid robot with 22 actuated joints has a head, a torso, two legs, two arms and two feet, standing at 375 mm and weighing 2.2 kg. To realize autonomous and self-contained characteristics, a distributed hierarchical configuration of control system is adopted using a 32 bit embedded microcomputer and 22 digital servo modules. A walking control scheme with a real-time gait pattern generator is proposed and experimental results are presented to show the effectiveness of the control system.departmental bulletin pape

No full textThis paper deals with the management systems for customer relationship by using rule generations based on the Genetic Programming (GP) and its applications. The GP procedure is applied to generate estimation rules for predicting preference of customers which are denoted as clusters by using the qualitative features of customers as input variables. The prediction rules are organized as a set of logical expressions (pool of individuals) having tree structures, and these individuals are improved by using learning data composing of pair of prefernece and feature description of customers. Then, the system is applied to artificially generated data of customers to assess basic capability of the system, and also to the real world data of estimation of preference customers.departmental bulletin pape
