Oil Palm Biomass Production At Sei Air Hitam Plantation , First Resources Rokan Hulu, Riau
The oil palm biomass production study was conducted at PT Perdana Inti Sawit Perkasa 1, Sei Air Hitam Plantation (SAHE), First Resources, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, Sumatra. The collected data consisted of special data and general data. Special data refers to primary data collected through field sampling. Two sample plants were selected for the sampling process. The first sample was taken from Block A29, planted in 2000. The second sample was taken from Block B25, planted in 1995. Both sample plants were grown in the same environment, with identical soil and moisture conditions, ensuring no variation in their characteristics. Destructive sampling was conducted to obtain leaf, stem, and root data. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the data. Sample 1 had a total biomass of 382.3 kg dry weight or 1,317.3 kg fresh weight. Sample 2 had a biomass of 659.4 kg dry weight or 2,083.0 kg fresh weight. Test For Germination of Cocoa Seeds (Theobroma cacao L.) Using Different Storage Lengths
Cocoa is one of the plantation commodities that has quite an important role in Indonesia's economic activities. Based on data from the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) in 2021 and 2022, Indonesia is ranked 7th as the largest cocoa-producing country in the world. Apart from increasingly open export opportunities, the domestic cocoa bean market is still quite large. One of the problems in preparing high-quality seeds is seed storage time. Seeds that are stored will experience deterioration or decline in quality with signs of decreased quality, low viability and vigor, poor planting, and reduced yields. This research aims to determine the extent to which cocoa seeds are able to germinate well if stored for a certain time so that they can become a benchmark for seed users for sowing. The research approach was carried out qualitatively using mathematical methods. Data is analyzed and displayed in table form. Treatment 0 seeds were planted immediately. Treatment 1 seed was stored for 1 week, treatment 2 seeds were stored for 2 weeks, treatment 3 seeds were stored for 3 weeks, and treatment 4 seeds were stored for 4 weeks. The research results on the germination capacity of cocoa seeds with different storage periods showed that the best treatment was for seeds planted directly in the nursery, with water content 35.7%, germination time 12.3 days, germination capacity of 97.56%
A Test for Bacillus Spp. Ability to Suppress Pestalotiopsis sp. Causing Rubber Leaf Drought Through In-Vitro
Using synthetic chemical pesticides can cause environmental pollution, the death of biological agents, the emergence of residues, and is dangerous for humans. One environmentally friendly alternative for disease control is biological control using Bacillus spp. This study aimed to test the antagonistic ability of Bacillus spp., to obtain a morphological description of Pestalotiopsis sp. and get a type of Bacillus bacteria that can inhibit the fungus Pestalotiopsis sp. causes of rubber leaf fall disease in vitro. This research was carried out at the Plant Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University and the Pekanbaru Class 1 Quarantine Laboratory. This research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications. Bacillus spp that used namely (B0) Without Bacillus spp. (B1) Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, (B2) Bacillus cereus, (B3) Bacillus pseudomycoides, (B4) Bacillus velezensis 1, (B5) Bacillus velezensis 2, (B6) Bacillus velezensis 3. The data obtained from the research results were analyzed statistically using variance analysis and further tested using the DNMRT Test at the 5% level. All Bacillus spp. are able to inhibit the fungus Pestalotiopsis sp., but 2 Bacillus, namely B. cereus B. pseudomycoides, are not able to produce an inhibition zone. B. amyloliquefaciens is a type of Bacillus that is more capable of inhibiting the fungus Pestalotiopsis sp. with an inhibitory power of 69.85% and an inhibitory zone of 64.74% and can reduce the length and width of conidia
The Effect of Biological Fertilizers and Inorganic Fertilizers on Upland Rice Plants (Oryza sativa L.) Growth and Production
Upland rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a staple food crop that produces rice, which is important in meeting Indonesia's food needs. This research aims to improve growth and increase the production of upland rice plants by providing biological fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer and getting the right combination dose for upland rice plants. This research was carried out at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya campus km 12.5, Pekanbaru. This research used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors the first factor was biological fertilizer consisting of four levels, namely: H0 : Control, H1 : 0.18 g of Agrimeth fertilizer, H2 :0.41 g Kayabio fertilizer, H3: 0.45 g Petro Biofertil fertilizer; The second factor is Phonska NPK fertilizer consisting of four levels, P0 : control, P1 : 1,4 g, P2: 2 g, P3 : 2.7 g per plant. The results showed that the interaction between the application of biological fertilizer and NPK Phonska fertilizer affected the number of grainy grains per panicle and the weight of milled dry grain. Providing biological fertilizer affects plant height, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, number of grainy grains per panicle, percentage of grainy grains and weight of milled dry grains. Application of NPK Phonska fertilizer affects plant height, shoot dry weight, root dry weight, maximum number of tillers, number of productive tillers, number of grainy grains per panicle, percentage of grainy grains and weight of milled dry grains. The correct dose to improve the growth and production of upland rice plants of the Inpago 12 variety can be 0.45 g Petro Biofertil Biofertilizer with 2.7 g Phonska NPK per plan
Hydro Priming Efficacy on Rubber Plant Seeds (Hevea brasiliensis) Growth
Among the plantation products, rubber is critical to economic activity within Indonesia. Rubber is also identified as one of Indonesia's export products, which is significant as an export revenue source apart from the oil and gas sector. Malaysia is the world's second-largest rubber producer and exporter of natural rubber after Indonesia. Besides having more open export opportunities and stimuli, the domestic rubber market is still large. Therefore, this study aims to ascertain the efficiency of hydro priming of rubber seeds on germination time and power as well as sprout height. The research was conducted in the greenhouse at the experimental garden in the Faculty of Agriculture KU IMS in Kuantan Singingi, which are given at geographical coordinates 00 00-10 00 LS 1010 02 – 1010 55 BT. The research was conducted in November-December 2023. The questionnaire survey was conducted in November and December of 2023. The average air temperature of the research location for November and December 2023 was 28. ranges from 8 0C to 32 0C with relative humidity of about 81%. The research approach was conducted in a qualitative manner utilizing mathematical techniques. Data is generally put in a tabular form and analyzed. Various treatment levels were under Control, 12h, 24h, 36h and 48h of hydro priming. In this research, the parameters recorded include time taken for germination, germination strength and sprout height. According to the outcomes of the assessments made in this study, the hydro priming treatment conducted on the rubber plant seeds showed the fastest germination time characteristics in the 48-hour treatment, which is 3. 4 days. The maximum germination capacity was observed in the hydro-priming treatment of 36 hours, which was 90. 0%. Optimizing Red Spinach (Amaranthus tricolor) Growth and Yield by Applying Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers
The Red Spinach (Amaranthus tricolor) is a leafy vegetable plant admired for its vibrant red leaves and is commonly used in cooking for its visual appeal and rich nutritional value. This plant is popular in many parts of the world because it can thrive in different soil and climate conditions. This study aims to enhance the growth and productivity of Red Spinach (Amaranthus tricolor) plants through a mix of organic and inorganic fertilizers. The approach utilized in the study was a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two primary factors: factor K, which represents organic fertilizer from cow dung, and factor P, which represents inorganic fertilizer NPK Mutiara 16:16:16. Each factor is subjected to three treatment levels, with three replications conducted to ensure the validity of the research results. The research findings indicated no significant distinction between the two treatments, whether using organic fertilizer (K factor) or inorganic fertilizer (P factor). This result indicates that using a combination of cow dung organic fertilizer and inorganic NPK fertilizer does not significantly affect the growth and yield of Red Spinach plants. In summary, the utilization of both organic fertilizer from cow dung and inorganic fertilizer NPK Mutiara 16:16:16 in this research did not result in a significant variation in the growth and yield of Red Spinach. Optimizing Bitter Mustard Plants (Brassica Juncea L.) Growth and Production by Administering Inorganic Fertilizer and Liquid Organic Fertilizer
Bitter mustard greens (Brassica juncea) are a leaf vegetable widely consumed in Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the effect of a combination of NPK fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer from banana weevils on the growth of bitter mustard greens. The method used was a factorial randomized block design with two factors (NPK and organic fertilizer) and three replications. Analysis of variance was carried out to analyze significant differences between treatments, with further tests using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that treating 10g NPK + 100ml POC Banana Stem and 10g NPK + 200ml POC Banana Stem consistently gave the best results on various growth parameters of bitter mustard plants. The 10g NPK + 100ml POC Banana Stem treatment produced the highest plant height at each observation stage, while the 10g NPK + 200ml POC Banana Stem treatment showed the highest number of leaves and plant fresh weight. The combination of NPK fertilizer and banana hump liquid organic fertilizer has proven to be effective in improving the growth quality of bitter mustard greens, including plant height, greater number of leaves and optimal fresh weigh
Effect of Water Application and Zeba Products on The Growth of Palm Oil Plants (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) on Main Nursery
The requirement of water for plants absolutely must be realized hence, it is necessary to make efforts in order to plants can still provide their water needs even though the availability of water for watering is less or even not available continuously. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of water application and zeba products on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The study arranged as a randomized completely block design (RCBD) with 5 treatments: without Zeba with 2 times watering; without Zeba with 1 time watering; Zeba 10 g/polybag with 1 time watering; Zeba 20 g/polybag with 1 time watering and Zeba 20 g + Rock Phosphate 75 g with 1 time watering. Watering is carried out in accordance with the treatment at the time from 07.00-09.00 WIB in the morning and 16.00-18.00 WIB in the afternoon using a paddle with a volume of 2 liters of water. There were three replications for each treatment. Variables observed plant height, stem diameter, leaf number, leaf color, soil pH values. The results showed that Zeba application affects the height of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery, stem diameter, soil pH and leaf color, but does not affect the number of leaves. Twenty grams of zeba on soil showed the similar response of stem diameter, soil pH and leaf green color with 20 g zeba + Rock Phosphate fertilizer. Zeba application can save water use in the main nursery of oil palm plant
TINJAUAN YURIDIS KETERWAKILAN PEREMPUAN DALAM PROSES REKRUTMENT CALON LEGISLATIF PADA PARTAI POLITIK DI DAERAH PEMILIHAN 1 KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGING TAHUN 2019 BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 7 TAHUN 2017 TENTANG PEMILIHAN UMUM
The aim of the research is to analyze the political recruitment of female legislative candidates in electoral district 1 of Kuantan Singingi district, namely Kuantan Central Kuantan, Senateajo Raya and Benai sub-districts. The method used is a sociological approach. where the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but the data comes from interview scripts, personal documents, memo notes and other official documents. The results of the research show that in selecting and appointing female legislative candidates in electoral district 1, Kuantan Singingi Regency prioritizes female cadres who come from party membership. These three political parties have the same difficulty, namely the availability of female legislative candidates who wish to be nominated. The party that was the sample in this study had the same problem in that the party had female cadres but were not willing to be nominated, thus making the party take steps to recruit female legislative candidates from outside the party
ANALISIS ANGGARAN BIAYA PRODUKSI SEBAGAI ALAT PERENCANAAN DAN PENGAWASAN (Studi kasus PT. Duta Palma Nusantara Sei Kuko’ Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi)
This research is a qualitative descriptive research which aims to find out whether the Production Cost Budget can act as a planning and monitoring tool at PT. Duta Palma Nusantara Sei Kuko' Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The data source used in this research is a secondary data source obtained through the intermediary company documents PT. Duta Palma Nusantara Sei Kuko' as well as an interview with the Head of Administration in accordance with the Production Cost Budget as a Planning and Supervision Tool. The results of this research conclude that in planning the budget preparation of PT. Duta Palma Nusantara Sei Kuko' has implemented a bottom up system, namely the company involves all departments from the lowest to the highest to provide proposals, ideas and suggestions regarding the next period's budget. However, in preparing it, the company has not classified the production cost budget into three groups according to theory, namely raw material costs, direct labor costs and factory overhead costs. The company's production cost budget does not yet fully act as a tool for planning and monitoring the production cost budget because there are still deviations that exceed the established standards, both favorable and unfavorable deviations
