Ilearning Journal Center Promotion Video Based on Videoscribe Application and Adobe After Effect CC 2015
No full textVideo is a media of information and promotion which is very effective because it has elements of motion, real visualization, images, sounds, and also many elements of music. In the field of promotion and publication, video has become one of the effective and attractive supporting media in its presentation and is considered the most appropriate way to carry out a promotion. The Ilearning Journal Center (IJC) is an innovative electronic journal management system (e-journal) whose application is directed to be able to replace the conventional (printed) journal management system. The purpose of the promotion itself is to introduce the journal learning center to the wider community, especially students and academics, the benefit of this research is to support media information and the promotion ofthe journal learning center. Therefore, the institutuon decides to make a journal in ILearning Journal Center so that institutions want to make a journal in the Ilearning Journal Center. The research method used is the data collection method, namely observation and interviews and research through similar papers in order to get a new idea and better results, with the help of the Videoscribe application and Adobe After Effect, it is expected that informative and effective promotional media can be formed. The Pictures in Enhancing Students English Learning

And it is as the most difficult skill to be executed which comes across by the students of the Vocational School of SMKN 4 Pontianak. The writing obstacles such as they do not know what should be written, what topics to be described, limited vocabularies, incorrectly grammar, and the coherency. Educators are desired to lend a hand the students with their learning complication, especially their writing skill. The Picture-Cued Technique is the practice to be carried out to the workshop of Community Engagement at the Vocational School of SMKN 4, which located on Komodor Yos Soedarso Street, Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. The aim of this community engagement workshop to familiarize and to assist the learners of the Vocational School of SMKN 4 Pontianak with the procedure of the Picture-Cued Technique to facilitate their writing hindrances. The students of the Vocational School of SMKN 4, eleventh grade, consisted of 32 students who become the participants in this community engagement study. The outcome of this community engagement is students are familiarized to the Picture-Cued Practice then assist them in overcoming writing hindrances in learning writing competence

So that it is easier for consumers to choose the scent of perfume, without consumers having to come to the store. The purpose of making the system is to solve the above problems and at the same time make it easier for students in the process of submitting titles. The design of this system uses the waterfall method, while the data collection method uses several methods such as observation, interviews and literature study. For web development using the PHP programming language. The final result of this design is a web that can be used by students to submit titles, see a list of thesis titles that have been taken and so on. While the output from the web that is made is a list of student thesis titles STIMIK Sepuluh Nopember Jayapura and announcements such as approval of titles submitted, supervisors, examiners and payment issues.
Implementation of Simple Additive Weighting Method in the Best Lecturer Selection Application
No full textThe best lecturer is a form of appreciation that can be given by universities to their lecturers who have carried out the threefold missions of Higher Education (implementing education and teaching, carrying out research and developing science, and carrying out community service) well. This research was conducted at XYZ University Palembang with the aim of developing a web-based application for selecting the best lecturers by applying the Simple Additive Weighting decision-making method. The criteria used are functional position, rank or class, education, length of teaching, number of seminars attended, number of studies, number of published journals and number of community service activities. The software development method used is the prototype method. From the results of the tests carried out, it is known that this application can work and function properly and correctly with a calculation accuracy rate of 100% obtained from comparing the results of calculations manually with the results of application calculations. For further research, it is better to increase the number of criteria used and apply certain methods to determine the weight of the criteria. In addition, it can also make comparisons with other calculation methods in order to find out which method is better in determining the best lecturer

Use of Google Form in Support of Data Collection for Student Scientific Work
No full textThe creation and dissemination of questionnaires conventionally has an impact in data collection and completion of thesis for longer. While on the other hand students should be able to complete college on time. The accuracy of students completing lectures also affects the accreditation of study programs and universities. The purpose of community service implementation to foster knowledge and insight so that students can practice google form application in making questionnaires and collecting scientific work data online. Considering the number of students of the College of Economists Boedi Oetomo Pontianak who do not know how to make questionnaires using the google form application. So far, students are still using conventional methods in the manufacture and dissemination of questionnaires. The seminar was attended by 22 participants from the final semester of the Boedi Oetomo Pontianak College of Economics. Implementation of community service using lecture approach, direct practice guidance and discussion so that participants can understand the material delivered. Based on the results of Pretest and Postest showed that after the seminar all students can understand the use of google application form for the creation of questionnaires and data collection of scientific work
Comparison of Machine Learning Algorithms for Classification of Drug Groups
Get PDFThe stages of clinical trials need to be carried out when determining a new drug group for patient management. This stage is considered quite long and requires a lot of money. Medical record system data continues to grow all the time. The data can be analyzed to find a pattern of grouping drugs used in the treatment of patients based on their body condition. Utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) technology can be done to classify drug data used during patient care. Machine learning as a branch of science in the AI field can be a solution to deal with these problems. Machines will learn, analyze, and predict drug requirements quickly with less cost. Based on related research, we contribute to comparing the performance of the best machine learning algorithms that can be used as drug classification models. The results of this study are the accuracy of the support vector machine algorithm is 94.7% while the random forest and decission tree algorithms are 98.2%. This shows that the algorithms that can be considered as a drug classification model are random forest and decision tree. This model needs to be tested on a larger dataset to produce the best accuracy value
