Inventory System Application Design (Case Study: Shirouoshien Online Shop)

Current technological advances in the process of recording inventory are felt to be very necessary, especially if the recording is done manually. Shirouoshien is an online business, products are sold and offered online using social media. Shirouoshien's efforts to record products manually, often the data of incoming and outgoing goods is not recorded properly. The process carried out is that the goods arrive, then they are photographed, then the product is offered to consumers. Available products will be stored and will move if the product is sold. During the buying and selling process, the documentation of the number of products in the warehouse was not recorded properly. The problem that occurs in shirouoshien is because employees do not get information about the stock of goods available both in the warehouse and recorded online. The making of notes is sometimes not documented or even made, increasing the risk of damage or loss. Inventories of goods at Shirouoshien often experience stock differences. To overcome the problems in Shirouoshien, a website was designed using descriptive qualitative methods that aim to facilitate the documentation process both in terms of handling the process of printing notes, changing inventory data, searching for inventory data, making sales reports for a certain period, and other types of goods. Descriptive qualitative method is taking objects regarding the system of recording and data collection of goods inventory which is applied to the Shirouoshien online shop. With a qualitative approach, data on the entry and exit of goods can be found

Application Of Confederation Methods, Route reflector And Next hop self On BGP Routing

    No full text
Advances in communication technology affect the need for larger networks. The bigger the network, the more routes there are. In BGP, the larger the session formed on the AS, the slower the network communication. Some ways to reduce the amount of information in the routing table are to use the confederation method, route reflector and route next hop self. In this study, we will discuss the simulation of the application of the confederation method, route reflector and route next hop self in BGP routing on different AS relationships to reduce the amount of information in the routing table. This study was made to provide a solution for full-mesh conditions in BGP. The application uses GNS3 software to create prototypes and network simulations. So that it can be applied to real networks later. The test is to calculate the forwarding delay, delay and throughput. Based on the experiments conducted, the three methods resulted in 7% lower forwarding delay, 29% lower end-to-end delay, and 26% higher throughput than full-mesh BGP. This proves that these three methods can reduce the routing table and make packet data delivery faster. For further research, it is hoped that it can be applied to real case studies so that effectiveness and efficiency can be assessed as well as the impact of the configuration used in real

Information Systems can support the implementation of activities in an organization. One example of the use of Information Systems in organizations is the application of technology in the form of information systems in ordering soil testing services at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Pakuan University. The information system is needed to assist in ordering soil testing services to produce information that is fast, precise, accurate, and efficient. The software development model used in the creation of the information system is Extreme Programming using PHP and MySQL programming languages for database creation. The Extreme Programming method is used because the method is a software development model that tries to simplify various stages in the development process so that it becomes more adaptive and flexible. The information system for ordering soil testing services at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Pakuan University was built can manage the data needed in the soil testing order process such as inputting test category data, input customer data, and inputting transaction data ordering soil testing services and printing the required reports. This Information System also has features that make it easier for customers to input on the testing service order form and can print proof of order which also contains reports of test results that have been carried out to make it easier when customers want to see the results of soil testing that has been carried out without having to come directly to the laboratory

Use of Fulltext Indexing to Improve Data Search Efficiency in MYSQL Databases

    No full text
The process of searching for data is one of the needs of the system that is needed. With the more data, the search process will take longer. There are many ways to speed up the data search process, one of which is by utilizing the Full text index feature in the MySQL database. In this study, a search query will be tested on tables that have been indexed and on tables that have not been indexed. Researchers use the like operator to search for data on tables that are not indexed. Meanwhile, in the table given the index, the researcher uses a full text search with the match against syntax. The results of this study indicate that the full text search on a table that has been given an index is faster than a table that is not indexed. When the number of data is 466,000, searching in a non-index table takes 2,638.97 milliseconds. Meanwhile, the indexed table takes 89.14 milliseconds. Then the impact of giving an index to the table is that the insert process takes longer than the table that is not indexed. In the product index table when the data is 466,000, the insert time is 6,560.69 milliseconds. While the product non index table is 420.96 milliseconds. In future research, it is expected to look for other query testing methods and find out the accuracy between like operator and match against

    No full text
The structured programming course is one of the courses that must be taken by second semester students at Amikom University Yogyakarta. This course is a prerequisite course for the data structure course in the fourth semester, so evaluation materials are needed for the results of the learning process. These results are identical to the student's ability to understand the course material during the learning period, so the evaluation results are needed to determine whether or not students are eligible to continue to the next semester. The purpose of the study was to measure the level of understanding of students in receiving programming material. The research method is carried out by applying the Elbow method and the K-Means clustering algorithm, so that a group will be formed from each class whose category can be determined based on the level of student ability. The clustering process involves 5 criteria, namely assignment scores, UTS, UAS, Final Project and attendance. The number of clusters determined is 3, cluster1 for the highest average value, cluster2 for the average value enough, and cluster3 for the lowest average value. Based on the results of calculations using K-Means clustering, it was found that in cluster1 there were 17 students in class A and B, and 18 students in class C. Then in cluster3 there were 5 students in class A, 7 students in class B and 9 students in class C
