No full textUpgrading financial literacy in Rumah Hijrah Pontianak aims to empower the Rumah Hijrah Pontianak community by enhancing their financial literacy and investment knowledge. Through a series of workshops, seminars, and interactive discussions, the program will equip participants with practical skills for personal and group financial management. By fostering a deeper understanding of smart financial planning and investment strategies, this initiative seeks to encourage long-term financial growth and stability within the community. Ultimately, the goal is to increase community interest in financial planning, which will contribute to the sustainability of social and economic activities at Rumah Hijrah Pontianak
The Utilization of PJJ Corners Feature to Support Academic Environment in the Field of Distance Education
No full textThis paper aims to provide an overview of utlisations of PJJ Corner, a feature of Universitas Terbuka’s (UT) digital library, developed through digital preservation projects to support a reading culture in the context of distance education. There are 156 digital references and 466 book collections of distance learning. This paper examines the data on the use of digital preservation in the context of distance learning in the academic context at UT. A total of 125 respondents participated in completing a questionnaire regarding digital preservation for UT's digital library. The results show that 98% of respondents already know about UT's digital library products; 80% of respondents know that there is a PJJ Corner catalog; and only 31% have accessed and utilised the PJJ Corner. Most of the access in the PJJ Corner aims to add insight related to PJJ by 33%, become a reference source by 26%, and be used for research purposes by 16%. The findings highlight the significant role of PJJ Corner in fostering reading interest and supporting academic activities, although its popularity remains lower compared to other features like Ruang Baca Virtual and UTTV. Furthermore, the PJJ Corner is making a good contribution to the development of distance learning in Indonesia through the reading activities that seek information about distance learning fields. The academic community believes that PJJ Corners can assess various reading sources online anytime and anywhere including the most recent resources and current information, as a result of the digital preservation of distance learning reference materials. Furthermore, the digital preservation of distance learning references helps them increase their reading activity for knowledge and research purposes, reference sources, and teaching materials. This study underscores the need for further promotion to enhance the utilization of PJJ Corner and the importance of digital preservation in ensuring long-term accessibility to educational materials. The results are expected to guide other institutions in developing similar initiatives to strengthen the reading culture and knowledge accessibility within academic communities
Upaya Pelestarian Arsip Bersejarah di Universitas Sumatera Utara: Tinjauan Preservasi Preventif dan Alih Media
No full textPenelitian ini mengkaji implementasi strategi preservasi preventif dan alih media di Kantor Arsip Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU). Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, studi ini mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem preservasi arsip sambil mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang pengembangan di masa depan. Pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara terstruktur dengan pengelola arsip, observasi langsung terhadap fasilitas dan proses, serta analisis dokumen yang komprehensif. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan kemajuan signifikan dalam implementasi infrastruktur preservasi modern, termasuk sistem face access, digital thermo-hygrometer, dan pengendali iklim 24 jam. Namun, beberapa tantangan kritis teridentifikasi, meliputi keterbatasan ruang untuk pemisahan media yang optimal, kesenjangan teknologi dalam penanganan arsip audio-visual, dan kesenjangan kompetensi staf dalam preservasi digital. Studi ini juga menyoroti perkembangan yang tidak merata dalam proses alih media, dengan digitalisasi berbasis teks menunjukkan kemajuan yang menggembirakan sementara konversi format audio-visual menghadapi kendala yang cukup besar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi baik pada pemahaman teoretis tentang preservasi arsip di institusi pendidikan tinggi Indonesia maupun rekomendasi praktis untuk pengembangan sistem preservasi yang lebih adaptif dan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi utama meliputi modernisasi infrastruktur, program pengembangan kompetensi staf yang terstruktur, implementasi sistem preservasi digital terintegrasi, dan penguatan kolaborasi institusional. Studi ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi institusi arsip yang menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam menyeimbangkan praktik preservasi tradisional dengan tuntutan transformasi digital  
Analisis Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis Siswa SMK Berdasarkan Teori APOS pada Materi Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi persamaan dan fungsi kuadrat berdasarkan teori APOS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari empat soal tes berbentuk uraian yang disusun berdasarkan teori APOS, serta pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian ini adalah sembilan siswa kelas XII SMK NU Martapura dari berbagai jurusan yang telah mempelajari materi persamaan dan fungsi kuadrat. Subjek dikelompokkan ke dalam tiga kategori kemampuan, yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berdasarkan hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada subjek yang memenuhi semua tahapan teori APOS pada setiap kelompok kemampuan. Pada kelompok dengan kemampuan tinggi, seluruh subjek mampu memenuhi tahap aksi dan proses, sedangkan pada tahap objek hanya satu subjek yang memenuhi dan dua subjek lainnya tidak. Kondisi serupa terjadi pada tahap skema. Pada kelompok dengan kemampuan sedang, hanya dua subjek yang memenuhi tahap aksi, satu subjek memenuhi tahap proses, sementara tahap objek dan skema tidak terpenuhi oleh semua subjek. Kelompok dengan kemampuan rendah tidak memiliki subjek yang memenuhi semua tahapan teori APOS
Analysis of The Effectiveness and Efficiency of Budget Implementation of the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports in Yogyakarta City
No full textThis study aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of budget implementation at the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Yogyakarta City for the fiscal years 2021-2023. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of budget realization reports, the results show that the effectiveness level of budget implementation is in the effective category. Effectiveness increased from 92.42% in 2021 to 95.60% in 2023, indicating improvements in budget implementation. The budget efficiency level is in the efficient category, although it experienced a decline, from 68.30% in 2021 to 71.80% in 2023. Overall, the Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Yogyakarta City has managed the budget effectively and efficiently in supporting education, youth, and sports programs
An Ethnopedagogical Approach: The Design of AR-Based Mobile Learning of Molecular Geometry in Chemistry
Get PDFLearning media plays an important role in supporting the learning process of chemistry, especially in the topic of molecular geometry, to enable the delivery of material more concretely and to facilitate understanding of concepts by students. To address this, there is a necessity to develop a mobile learning application based on augmented reality specifically for molecular geometry material. The process of making this application refers to the Borg & Gall (2003) development model. This model consists of 10 phases, summarized into three main parts: design, development, and evaluation. This research specifically focuses on the initial stage, namely the design stage. The research method used is research and development (R&D). This implementation plan consists of two stages: data collection through needs analysis by distributing questionnaires to students and needs analysis from a professional perspective through interviews and literature research. The result of this research is an application design with content and functionality suitable for developing augmented reality-based mobile learning materials on molecular geometry in chemistry education
VARIASI BAHASA CAMPUR KODE DAN BAHASA GAUL (SLANG) DALAM PLATFORM MEDIA SOSIAL X

Foreign languages are the second or companion languages of the main language, from this foreign language there is often a mixing of codes in Indonesian. Then, slang is a modification of the language that already exists in society. This study aims to analyze the use of mixed code and slang on social media, especially in the comments of @kegblgunfaedh accounts on platform X. The method used is qualitative descriptive to uncover this phenomenon. The results of the study show that social media users often use slang and mixed code. Slang is used to create familiarity, while code mix arises spontaneously due to environmental influences. This study concludes that language variations in social media reflect the dynamics and development of language in society
KEGIATAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS IV SD SELAMA MASA PANDEMI
Get PDFThis study aims to find out the reading activities by students of SD Negeri Tirtoadi Sleman during distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The specific purpose is to discover the availability of facilities owned by students, the level of parent participation, students' reading activities at school, and their interest in reading. The subject of the study was a grade IV student. This research includes quantitative descriptive research with a survey design. Data collection was conducted using the PIRLS framework questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative data analysis. The findings showed that the availability of student facilities in reading activities is still quite good because on average students have facilities for reading activities at home even though students read more in school. The findings from the results of parent participation also prove that 90% of parents actively monitor student learning activities while at home. Most students' reading activities at school focus on spending 1-2 hours in the library, as they prefer learning from teachers' explanations over reading. Despite high interest and motivation in reading due to curiosity, students' reading habits during the pandemic remain similar to their normal learning activities

Get PDFWhen learning Indonesian in high school (SMA), scientific writing is one of the outcomes that students must be able to apply in the form of writing. In fact, scientific writing is difficult material for students. According to the 2013 curriculum, the scientific writing material should enable students to effectively compile and communicate their findings. On the other hand, in the merdeka curriculum, scientific writing serves as a report for each project to enhance the Pancasila students' profile (P5). The purpose of this study is to compare the process of writing scientific papers between the 2013 curriculum and the merdeka curriculum and analyze the resulting learning outcomes. The research conducted revealed the following findings: 1) there were differences in the outcomes of scientific writing learning between the 2013 curriculum and the merdeka curriculum, 2) the scientific writing learning process varied, with the 2013 curriculum only including Indonesian language subjects for scientific writing in class XI, while the merdeka curriculum scientific writing allowed collaboration with other subjects, and 3) the scientific writing guidance system in the 2013 curriculum solely focused on learning Indonesian during class, whereas in the merdeka curriculum, students received special guidance outside of class hours
Implementasi Project-Based Learning melalui Aktivitas Pembuatan Ice Cream Putar pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Get PDFOne of the learning activities in campus teaching activities is using the project-based learning model. This research aims to describe good practices, challenges and good experiences from implementing learning activities using project-based learning in rotating ice cream making activities. This research is qualitative research, with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were 20 students in class IV of one of the elementary schools in Cirebon district. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation of learning activities. Data analysis uses data triangulation techniques which include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of research from learning in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects using project-based learning in the activity of making rotating ice cream, good practices were obtained: students were able to produce rotating ice cream products, students understood the concept of Change of Form material, namely the concept of "freezing” and “melt”. Challenges: related to time management and class order as well as student involvement in project activities. Good experience: instilling the Pancasila student profile character and facilitating students' numeracy literacy skills
